I’m writing this in two parts. This first is more of a quick report on the night, and the second part will be from Lila’s and my personal viewpoints and full of pictures!

Part One

The NewNowNext Awards 2012 was a star-studded occasion, complete with all the ingredients that make a heart go pitter-pat. It was held at the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood, where The Beatles made their West Coast debut in 1964. Lila and I arrived just before 6 PM and the first well-known face I saw was Ross Mathews. From that moment on, I knew the night was going to be magical! The Red Carpet, scheduled from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM was in full-swing, occupied at this time mostly with personalities from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Lila and I were escorted into The Avalon from the back, fresh from the Red Carpet area, entering onto the main floor. I estimate there was seating for about 700 on the floor, with additional main floor raised seating, plus levels in the balcony. The main floor was set in rows, unlike last year’s tables. About 40% of the chairs had name signs on them, many of them celebrities’ names. Other signs were for industry-related people invited to this soirée. We were stunned to find we were seated in the 7th row, and my chair had my name on it!

We were treated to an open-bar in the back with hors d’oeuvres being circulated. Lila and I enjoyed this part very much, because we needed something to calm our nerves! Here we met several fabulous men from Time Warner and the Las Vegas “What Happens in Vegas” marketing campaign, who would become our companions later in the evening at the Afterparty. Over-head announcements started invited everyone to take their seats, since the show would begin in about 15 minutes and people slowly began to move to their seats. The seat kitty-corner to Lila’s had been labeled RuPaul, yet the occupant clearly wasn’t RuPaul! Next to her was Jiggly Caliente and Sharon Needles, both from Drag Race.

With about 10 minutes to go, we saw Adam and Sauli enter from the same back door area and take their seats in the first row. Celebrities were stopping and chatting with Adam, and I pulled Lila up with me to go talk to him. Even though I had just spoken with Adam last week at the San Diego morning radio station, mentioning that we were from the fansite nominated for the NNN award, it didn’t seem to register on his face that he knew what we were talking about. He just smiled and said, “oh, that’s great” and moved on to the next fan. (I know radio stations are hectic.) But now was the perfect time to introduce ourselves again. He was just finishing talking with someone, and I was about to step up, but Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games stepped in front of me. I waited, hearing “3 minutes to start time” and Josh left. I approached Adam, and said “Hi Adam, I just want to tell you how proud we are to be representing you with our fansite!” At first he just looked at me like another fan, and then the light went on in his eyes, and he gave me a big smile, saying thank you for all the work we do. I wanted Lila to have her time with him too, so I shifted to Sauli next to him and introduced myself and shook his hand. There was a Drag Queen next to Sauli that for some reason I didn’t recognize, who was listening to our conversation, so I figured she must be part of their group. I said “Hi, I’m sorry I don’t recognize you” and she replied “I’m Raja.” “Oh my gosh, I watched you all last season!” She smiled and shook my hand. It was time to go back to our seats, so as I passed in front of Adam again, he said “good luck, I’ll be crossing my fingers for you!” and he raised his hand to show me. I couldn’t keep myself from saying, “you know, this has been an incredible 15 minutes for me!” and he looked right at me with a big smile.

Lila and I melted all the way back to our seats! She told me about their conversation, and we were both sorry we didn’t have something recording it! She told him we were from the fansite, and he thanked her and told her he appreciates what the fansites do. Lila said “we do it for you. It’s all about you.” He replied with “no, it’s a symbiotic thing!” and he motioned his fingers back and forth between the two of them. Squee! Back at our chairs, I noticed that Jai Rodriguez had taken his seat behind me and I introduced myself. (Jai was my favorite cast member from Queer Eye For the Straight Guy.) See the second part for more on this.

Okay, sorry! I had to expand on that part!! Back to the straight report – no pun intended!

The show began and we were entertained by host Kelly Osborne and all the award presenters, as well as performances from Brink of Fame winner, Neon Hitch, Rye Rye, and Neon Trees, who gave an amazing performance of their new single “Everybody Talks.” I must add that Kelly Osborne did an outstanding job hosting the entire event. Her personality is so warm and infectious! They arrived at the part of the evening where they announced the award for Superfan Site, and Lila’s and my heart were beating out of our chests! Unfortunately, the fansite for Vampire Diaries took the award, and it was claimed by Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie Bennett on the show. No one from that fansite was able to attend and Bonnie said how much the show “really appreciates all the fans do for them” and we thought that was very nice.

Then it was time for the performance everyone was waiting for – Adam! He was closing the show, as only a top star does. Kelly gave him an amazing introduction (you can tell they’re good friends!) and Adam gave us his show-stopping new funk sound, with the first full-band performance of Trespassing that I’ve seen or heard. His energy was non-stop, his voice was full of fire and the show was electrified, ending in a shower of confetti! Adam had two female, gowned back-up singers on-stage with him. The entire theater was on their feet dancing and clapping to the syncopated beat, having the time of their life. Everyone knew they had just been entertained by a major star!

I was the only person on the floor filming Adam, and after 2,718 views in only about 3 hours the next morning, Viacom pulled the video. Adam has just tweeted what must be an approved version. You’ll see my turquoise arms holding the camera several times in this video! Lila’s in white, next to me. So ladies and gentlemen, get ready to get down and get funky!! You can watch the whole evening on LOGO, Monday, April 9th at 10 PM PT, repeating many times.

Love ya!

Go to Part 2 HERE

Direct from Adam Lambert’s radio tour, Adam stops to chat and perform for a very lucky audience at Boston’s Mix 104.

Adam is a bit rambunctious in this 25 minute video. Maybe he was a little sleep deprived from the power outage the night before in the hotel? Throughout this session, he displays the great humor that runs throughout the Lambert family. Like when he comments about the originality of the questions! To counter that, this self-admitted controller turns the questions to the audience instead of the twitter feed.

We also get to enjoy two stripped performances of Better Than I Know Myself and I think the sexiest version of Fever that I’ve ever heard! I love the funk beat that Tommy rips on his acoustic guitar. Catch Adam’s ad lib to the lyrics, and look at the sparkle in his eyes.

Thank you to Gale Chester Whittington for the video. Be sure and read more about the appearance and see photos from the event by checking out Reneé Snyder’s article too!

And only 18 days left to vote for this site in the NNN Awards! http://logo.to/z4xtyG

Mix 104.1 Boston ADAM LAMBERT FULL Interview + Performances 3-14-12 from Gale Chester Whittington on Vimeo.

What a night! Adam Lambert’s just released video for Better Than I Know Myself has caught me quite off guard! To be honest, from the Sneak Peek, I thought it was going to be reminiscent of WWFM. But wow was I wrong! The fight between Dark Adam and Light Adam is full of imagery, symbolism and metaphor. In fact so much that it could produce a term paper!

The internal mental fight that that Adam exhibits fills this video. It’s a real test to Adam’s acting ability. Is this is a look into what’s gone on with Adam this past year? At least internally? Not just any artist could pull this off. With nods to Twilight, who knows where this Dark Adam will go. But the redemption from Light Adam takes us back from the edge.

Introducing, the video for Adam Lambert’s Better Than I Know Myself!

Please let us know what you think!

Love ya!

~ Carol ~

Here’s a sneak peek at the video for Better Than I Know Myself, the first single from Adam Lambert’s upcoming second album. Does it remind you of anything?

Look for the full video on February 3, 2012, according to Adam. Today he tweeted:

@adamlambert Better Than I Know Myself video is coming… 2/3 on VEVO!

Once you click on the video, you’ll have to go to YouTube to watch. Darn VEVO! Take a peek and let us know what you think.

Love ya!

This is the cutest video done to the song, “I’ve had the time of my life!!”.
It is THE perfect song AND video to sum up all of our feelings from this summer of GLAM.
I just watched it twice because I am addicted to Adam’s cute little face all sparkly and smiley!!! There are some great memories from this summer of love thanks to Adam and the gang. Thanks also to suz526 for capturing these beautiful memories for all of us to enjoy…

Adam Lambert - If I Had You video Pictures, Images and Photos

We’re all excited to follow Adam on his Glam Nation Tour and check out the concert videos. I start my day by visiting Sue’s great tour articles to watch all the performances, imagining that I’ve been at each and every show. But let’s not get too carried away with the tour and forget we can make a real impact on TV/Radio by voting on VH1’s Top Twenty. Adam’s joyously playful video, If I Had You has slipped to the number 6 spot. I’ve only heard it once on my San Diego stations! We need to hear it so much we’re tired of it, if possible.

Click here to vote! You don’t even have to vote on the other 19 places, unless you want to. Just “drag and drop” Adam into the #1 box and click Submit. The artists are listed alphabetically by last name, so you have to scroll down a bit. It’s really easy to do it 5 or 10 times, or more. Immediately after voting hit the Rank ‘Em Again tab and vote again and again. Do you have 5 minutes everyday so you can help? Whattaya say Glambs? Can we do it?? Will you commit 5 minutes a day to Adam and If I Had You? If you go to the site, you’ll see that a certain American Idol Winner is also up for a vote. You can throw him some votes too, but only in the #2 or lower boxes!! Please don’t hate me - I’m ALL for Adam!! :)

The results come out on Saturday morning. It may be too late for us to really effect tomorrow’s standing, but we can certainly change next week’s, and the next and the next and the next!

Welcome to the Glam Nation tour where LOVE overcomes hate. I am not one to promote the hatred, and with these video clips I don’t have to. The overpowering signs of love far outweighed the hatred that was trying to be spewed…ROCK ON GLAM NATION!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ADAM LAMBERT!! #1 AGAIN!!
Congratulations also to everyone that voted If I Had You to the top spot, you know who you are!!!
Great way to start the holiday weekend,

Congrats to Adam Lambert. The music video for his single, “If I Had You” is #1 on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown this week, knocking Usher into the #2 spot.

He’s the first artist to have 2 #1s on the countdown in 2010. His previous single, “Whataya Want From Me” also climbed to #1 on the countdown.

“If I Had You” entered the countdown at #20 on 6/19 (after the video debuted on VH1.com 6/14). It climbed to the #10 spot on 6/26 before it leaped to #1 today.

Fan voting helps determine the composition of the weekly chart, so a big shout-out is also in order to the peeps who helped vote Adam into the #1 spot. Congrats all around!

Let me just tell you, I have NEVER been front row for a concert before and now I will never want to be anywhere else for Adam.

As I promised, here is the second half of the VH-1 snippets of behind the scene videos starring Adam and the band.
It is really cool to be able to see Adam planning things out and actually being part of the entire process. It makes everything he does turn out that much more special.
I would like EVERYONE to take note of the screaming girl, in the green shirt, in the snippet of screaming fans. You will know the one, she’s the one SCREAMING. I am having everyone pay attention because, THIS COULD BE YOU! Remember this video when you are seeing Adam in person, BEFORE you scream at him and scare him, haha. Don’t say I didn’t warn you as to how you might come across to everybody if you scream. Make sure that if you ARE going to scream like her, have the person you are with video you so we can post it and watch it here!!!
Kidding aside, I hope you all get to sing, scream, and dance along with all the Adam fans somewhere along the Glam Nation Tour this summer.

This is awesome!!
During Pink’s concert yesterday in Germany, she gave a great little speech about writing this crazy little song, and finding a guy that sings it way better than she does!
As she sings it, you can hear the fans sing along and it was one of those goosebump moments for me.
Congratulations go out to both Pink, for writing the perfect song for Adam, and for Adam, for singing the hell out of it EVERY SINGLE TIME he sings it. You are both class acts…

Here is the tweet from Adam last night that he sent out to Pink:
~adamlambert~@Pink thanks for saying kind things about me! You’re an inspiration! Such a rockstar and such a classy, sexy rebel!

Due to the nature of this very important holiday that we are celebrating this weekend, I thought we could all take a look back and be thankful for the reason we all visit this site. I sincerely understand that, most importantly, we all need to be thankful for those that have lost their lives so that we may have all that we do today.
I felt that we should go back in time and honor these special moments in Adam’s life, moments that made him the entertainer he is today.
I specifically started with I Just Love You because, really, what else do we ALL feel the same about him? We ALL can say that we just love him.
Secondly, yes Adam, you DO make us Crazy but in an Oh So Good way! Which leads us to Crawl Thru Fire, which I am pretty sure we ALL would do if he were standing on the other side to save us.
Then, Adam wrestles with his emotions as he sings I Can’t Make You Love Me. Sweet Adam, you don’t have to MAKE us do anything because we DO truly love you. You should know that by now…
Lastly, the reason we should ALL be thankful, is that because of Adam, OUR change has already come. We have learned to love one another, support each other, and to strive be just as beautiful on the inside as we are on the outside, just as Adam does. What more can we be thankful for?
So on this special weekend, let us all go back and remember where this man came from and thank our lucky stars that we have him now…

Here it is, a behind the scene look at the filming of If I Had You.
Adam touches on the songs meaning, love, and how without that, the other stuff doesn’t matter. Regardless of your color, religion, age, or sexuality, we can all love together… and party in the woods, lol.
Which is why he then chose to surround himself with the people that he loves for this video, what a concept. It certainly will show in the final product, and I cannot wait to see it. With the dance moves he is rocking in that clip, it cannot be here fast enough…

Check out our behind-the-scenes look at “American Idol” alum Adam Lambert making his brand-new music video!

Adam puts in a hard day’s work — four costume changes included — shooting his video for “If I Had You,” the third single off his top-selling album, For Your Entertainment from RCA Records/19 Recordings.

“The theme of this video today is, quite basically, no matter how much money you posses or material things you accrue in life, if you don’t have a connection and love, it’s worthless,” Adam says.

The 28-year-old pulls out all the stops for his knock-out new video, rocking black eyeliner, black nail polish, and some seriously high platform boots.

“We’re in full hi-ho Silver glam… And cracked out on Red Bull!” he laughs. “So it’s the beginning of a great party.”

Next up for the “American Idol” runner-up? His first headlining tour this summer, “The Glam Nation Tour.”

Adam Lambert Joins The Glam Circus For ‘If I Had You’ Video
Lambert sports some space-age gear in the clip.

By Gil Kaufman/mtv.com

Adam Lambert looked like he was channeling the ghost of Ziggy Stardust on the set of the video for his latest single, “If I Had You.” Filmed early Thursday morning in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park, the clip looks like it will be a typically over-the-top affair with lots of elaborate costumes, face paint and a woodsy setting, where last year’s “American Idol” runner-up hosts a kind of Cirque du Soleil dance party.

Before the shoot, Lambert tweeted on Wednesday, “Gearing up for an all night video shoot for ‘If I Had You,’ ” which he followed with the tidbit, “Invited a bunch of my performer friends to cameo in the video. It’s gonna be one big happy family!” Lambert, you might recall, was a frequent contributor to Los Angeles’ anything-goes “Zodiac Show” before auditioning for “Idol,” where he often shared the stage with circus-like performers while singing in outrageous, glitter-splashed costumes.

While a spokesperson for Lambert could not be reached for comment on the shoot, a reported casting call sent out a request for all manner of fire eaters, jugglers and twirlers for the clip, helmed by veteran director Bryan Barber (Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera).

In a still released from the shoot, Lambert sports silver-and-black Kiss-style sparkly platform boots studded with metal spikes, white jeans and a white shirt underneath his signature spike-shoulder leather jacket, with a black lightning bolt painted over his left eye.

Once the shoot for the third single from his debut album, For Your Entertainment, wrapped, Lambert breathed a sign of relief, tweeting, “That’s a wrap. Whew!” He added, “Big thanks to the amazing cast and crew of the ‘If I Had You’ music video!!”

XO~SUE~GLAMB#10

It sounds like last nights video shoot was just one big love-fest, and would we want it any other way?
It is so wonderful to see that Adam has not lost sight of who his real friends are, and they know how special he is as well. From the tweets below, it is apparent that they are all honored to be a part of this video and they all love him to death.
I simply cannot wait to see this video…shot in the forest with fire and glittery faces. I think because of the talent, and the amount of respect they all have for each other, it will be absolutely amazing.
It makes such a huge difference when you have the opportunity to “work” with, or for, someone that you truly love. It really makes it not “work” at all.
I consider myself lucky that I get to do this everyday…

There’s no place like L.A., there’s no place like L.A…. I am clicking my ruby red slippers and I am not happy with the results!
I was hoping I would end up somewhere in Los Angeles, let me re-phrase, I was hoping to end up where they are videoing this video!!! Apparently it is an all night affair tonight in a dark but beautiful forest somewhere… hmmmm.
I love this song and I cannot wait to see what he has planned for us this time. It is like waiting for his next performance but on a much higher level.
In the meantime I will keep clicking my heels, maybe something exciting will happen…

What to expect from Adam Lambert’s “If I Had You” music video has been revealed. The clip is going to feature fire performers as according to a casting call, his camp are looking for “people who can fire eat, fire breath, fire juggle, fire twirl, etc.”

“This music video is set in a dark but beautiful forest, where we experience a surreal light show, similar to the Northern Lights of Norway,” the video overview read. “We are here for an artistic gathering of all types of people, to socialize, dance and party while taking in this display of beauty and mystery.”

“If I Had You” comes from Adam Lambert’s debut album “For Your Entertainment”. The music video is directed by Bryan Barber and reportedly will be filmed in Los Angeles on May 12 for an all-night shoot.

I just came across a great piece by Kerry Kolsch from Associate Content, and thought the author truly gets Adam, just like we all do. I especially love the part at the end about Adam’s mind-blowing version of Whole Lotta Love at Fantasy Springs. I just watched that video again, and practically had to pick myself up from the floor!

VIDEO JUST ADDED!!

After you catch your breath, enjoy reading this! I’ll start the article here, but click on the link for the entire piece. Enjoy!

Adam Lambert is the first artist performing on the April 9, 2010 revival of VH1 Unplugged with stripped down acoustic versions of four songs from his critically acclaimed album For Your Entertainment and a version of Mad World. Lambert’s album has reached Gold status in the US and Singapore and is now Platinum in Canada. The world is recognizing that a new iconic star is emerging from the shackles of a reality show.

With the new season of American Idol well underway we are reminded of the incomparable technical beauty of Lambert’s multioctave voice and of his commandeering stage presence. Lambert engaged America vocally and visually week after week with multiple musical genres, costuming lighting and even fog, not just as a singer but as an old time storyteller. Mad World, the only performance on American Idol to garner a standing ovation from Simon Cowell is also Google Trend’s highest peaking American Idol performance ever.

Last year we realized American Idol had discovered a show-stopping performer but in the context of that venue the minds of America were manipulated. After Satisfaction what was American Idol to do? Could the judges give Lambert the title and send the rest of them home? The reality show had to pretend a contest was going on.
Click here for the entire article.

The concert at Fantasy Springs was EPIC!! It was Adam Lambert’s FIRST full concert, and I feel so privileged to have been there! He had the most amazing presence when he walked out onto the stage. He tried to hold his “Rock God” persona at the end of his opening number For Your Entertainment, but after listening to the thundering response from over 3,500 screaming fans, his full-on Adam smile broke through and we knew he was touched.
Here are the videos from the night!!

Thank you to Libraglam for bringing the following video to my attention. In light of everything negative that’s been posted lately, let’s take a moment to remember why we’re all here. This serves as a great reminder as to who Adam was before American Idol. If you didn’t see his “past,” now you know what is making his “present.”

Thank you to Skylarvon for making this beautiful piece. And special kudos for starting it with the perfect Muse song – Uprising!

Adam is continuing to open himself up to the public and give us a peek into his life. Here we get to go behind the scenes with Adam as he gives us a taste of the shooting for Whataya Want From Me.

I love the natural feel of his singing in this video. His stripped down appearance easily paves the way for him to open up emotionally and let us into his heart. Watch his expression as he learns he gets to decide his own actions when he’s exiting the club and “going through the gauntlet” to his limo. IMO this is an example of the trust and confidence that the directors have in him. With three extrememly diverse videos under his belt already, it shows this man is living up to his promise of giving us more than a one-stop shop.

We hear that Adam Lambert has begun to focus on international exposure. I’m sure all the international supporters of this web site are breathing heavy now! Earlier this week he was up in Canada, and the Canadians had nothing but big love for him. Is it just me, or do their DJs ask better questions?!?

Our Glam Rocker admits to E News Now that his look is more of a simple do-over than an original style. “What I do has been done before,” says Adam. He takes his looks from 70s and 80s glam artists, and David Bowie is a huge influence. Never mind, we LOVE everything you do! No matter the style that he’s re-creating, he always brings something new to the page.

After the E News Now video, be sure and check out the Man In The Box video showing his playful side, from his photo shoot with V Man Magazine, out Thursday.

MAN IN A BOX from NINJI on Vimeo.

It’s hard to imagine any Idol going through a crazier 2009 than Adam Lambert, whose year was filled with enough highs and lows to fill an entire season of Fantasia’s reality show. But the man always kept his cool. And he certainly looked cool last night on the red carpet of Gridlock NYE, the 5,000-capacity Hollywood megaparty at Paramount Studios where he headlined 2009’s New Year’s Eve. (That was definitely a step up from Mark’s Restaurant, the aforementioned intimate eatery where he sang on December 31, 2008.) With both his glittery tuxedo coat and painted face looking like they were lovingly attacked by a Bedazzler–in the best possible way, of course–Adam sparkled like a star.

Lyndsay Parker was only amongst the many reviewers to praise Adam’s show at Gridlock’s New Years Eve Bash, where he performed a full 10 song set plus one extra (1. Music Again; 2. If I Had You; 3. Whataya Want From Me; 4. Strut; 5. Sure Fire Winners; 6. Soaked; 7. For Your Entertainment; 8. Sleepwalker; 9. Fever; 10. Down The Rabbit Hole, and the old Idol favorite Whole Lotta Love as an encore).

Adam sparkled bright and wore an amazing outfit, and described himself as being ’sparkly and glittery, trying to match the fireworks tonight!’ in the pre-show press interviews. Some of the redcarpet clips:

Videos of all songs also made their way to Youtube, so here it goes, in order:

Great job Adam, he looked like he had lots of fun and most of us can certainly appreciate that as well!

But the kids love him nonetheless!!! Great video. Hope Adam will get to see this and realize that he has such a wide range of fans!

This is great! Every time you happen to be watching Fox, keep your eyes open for their NEW promo! Set to a very familiar song.. For Your Entertainment! It looks really, really nice and totally goes with the lyrics of the song! So, this will expand the song’s awareness by a ton, maybe it is not the ‘forgotten’ single after all? Who knows.. Anyways, it will never hurt - Some people who just like the song but don’t know Adam might have a chance to get to know him now! And let’s be honest, the song sounds totally awesome put to those Fox clips!

A couple of days ago there were the videos of dance troups using Adam’s song as their inspiration, and now it might be fun to look at some singers covering various songs! For example, one of Adam’s best friends - Ferras - who also co-wrote Aftermath, put out an awesome cover of Whataya Want From Me. He also admits to being ‘obsessed’ with the song, and tells Adam just before he starts: ‘Eh, Adam, don’t shoot me, cuz if it sucks.. you’ll just have to deal with it!’

He seems like such a sweet guy, and has a gorgeous voice! Adam is lucky to have such sweet friends who never sold him out but keep on supporting him in their own ways.

Then there are a couple of guys who put out covers of For Your Entertainment. It seems like Adam really inspired and touched them, if the description of the video is any means to go by! Good to see that the fanbase of Adam does surely encompass more than only females, as is often claimed - and that men also really look up to Adam.

This first guy covered FYE using a piano, and said that ‘this man is such an inspiration. When I first saw him on American Idol, I saw so much of myself in him. I’m equally as flamboyant, the constant feeling like an outsider, misunderstood due to one’s alternative appearance & nature…etc etc etc. Great guy. Great debut single.

The second used an acoustic guitar, and mentioned ‘cool new song that I like and put my own spin on (it’s hard to keep a dance pop song sounding similar when playing it on the acoustic :P) Adam Lambert’s a great new icon in the music industry, and I hope he’s here to stay :) ‘. It came out really nicely!

Throughout the night, various actors starring in the music video for Whataya Want From Me have been tweeting their whereabouts and even uploaded some photos and clips of Adam.

Clayton Johnson, who was one of the first to clue us in that there was actually a music video happening, hasn’t been up to a lot of tweeting but only mentioned that he was:

A lot more information was received from Julianna, the girl who already promised updates throughout the night. Her twitter is filled with updates and information. At one point, she could even tell us the general direction of the video! After Clayton mentioned that he was shooting a ‘club scene’, she confirmed this by mentioning that she is ‘playing a girl who’s to young to get in the club.

Then, she casually mentioned Adam’s outfit: ‘(Adam) looks beautiful in a black suit/tie/snake leather shoes!‘. Ooh, sounds good already! And, according to her, Adam was ‘very nice and funny’. Hey, what’s new? :) She also managed to take a quick photo, only showing Adam’s head:

And another one without his head but just the outfit!

Adam mentioned to her that he’s been on set since 7am that morning, and that the whole video was being shot that day. The tone of the video is described as being ‘intense’, and shot from the point of view of Adam’s lover, and there is ‘some fighting‘. Plus, Adam is ‘wearing this cool ass skull ring and skull buttons on his collar‘.

There is already a video floating around where people are fussing over Adam’s outfit and the director tells everyone what to do. Looks really cool. This was uploaded by Alyxx Dione, who is probably another actress in the video, as she mentioned earlier that day that she was ‘On set working on @adamlambert’s video for “Whataya Want From Me”. If you haven’t heard the song, you must! Its dope!

Poor people out in the cold! But at least, as one of the actors tweeted, they’ve got Mexican food on set to keep ‘em going..

So the general idea must be something like Adam having a fight with his ‘lover’ (male/female? Would be interesting to see what he goes with!), and then something with a club / outside of a club. Julianna tweeted this short video, where Adam is being mobbed by paparazzi/fans as he walks out of the club. It’s without a doubt part of the shoot (hear the ‘ACTION!’ in the beginning?).

This would mean that in the video Adam is already portrayed as a star, one who is having relationship issues; and tries to work it out by going clubbing? And the whole thing is seen through his troubled lover’s eyes, maybe someone who is wondering whether Adam wants him to stay home and out of the public eye or go out with him and be seen and hogged by paps, a true ‘whataya want from me?’

Probably reading too much in this but it is fun to come up with scenerios that fit with the hints we’ve been given so far! And the question remains, will the lover be revealed as being male or female, or remain anonymous? Male would be really brave and true to who Adam really is - but might cause controversy again. Thoughts?

(and let’s hope Adam is back home and in his warm bed by now. Here we are thinking he is finally getting some rest because of how quiet it’s been around him, but in fact he’s pulling 24 hour days filming a music video!)

According to various sources, Adam is in the process of shooting a music video for his latest single ‘Whataya Want From Me’. There aren’t that many details available yet - quite the opposite from For Your Entertainment, where the dubious photos of scandily clad actors and Adam in a Matrix outfit surfaced quite rapidly. The only information available so far is taken from the Twitter pages of those people that are allegedly the actors of the shoot.

This guy, for example, Clayton Johnson, is probably one of the actors - he used to do some work for Nickelodeon. He twittered earlier today that they are going to be working on the video ‘all night’.

The main actress is this lady, Julianna Milton. She seemed surprised at the surge in her number of followers after she mentioned that she was going to be working on the video; and promised more updates tonight when the actual shooting is happening.

A poster on MJ’s blog revealed some more information about the shooting: “They worked on WWFM MV yesterday at Sunset Studios, filmed last night and are filming more of the WWFM MV tonight. Looks like it would be out before the end of the years.

What do you think the video will be about? The song primarily seems to be about a relationship, at least that was Pink’s intention while writing it and probably also Adam’s interpretation while recording it. Yet, the recent events gave it a whole new meaning. Which one will Adam go with, the more cliché couple-fighting thing or something a bit deeper than that?

Will keep you updated if more information becomes available :) But for now, another cheer: we’ll get another music video! Hopefully this single will do well in the charts so we get to see the video often, too.

Two masterpieces found their way to us! The first one is an extended (thank god) version of the Kiis FM interview with JoJo, and you know what? It turned out to be one of the best interviews I’ve heard! Adam is funny (’We’re brotha’s from anotha mothaaa!‘), obviously relaxed and just being himself. He addresses his Twitter obsession, as well as how much he loves his fans (yeah go listen, he totally gets us. Haha!), some verrry random questions about his gloves and how he managed to pull off the long part of Pick U Up without breathing..

Oh, and an interesting piece about how Adam got to know that Michael Jackson wanted to meet him before he passed. And guess what his most embarrassing moment was? (I don’t agree. It wasn’t embarrassing! It was cool! :D).
GO HERE TO LISTEN TO THIS AWESOME INTERVIEW!

The second ‘interview’ comes from Jingle Ball NY, where Adam once again met up with Jim Cantiello. He seems so laid back and in a happy joking mood; and the fact that these particular snippets are the outtakes from the actual interview makes it even better! The interview already starts off with Adam wondering out aloud what is going on next to them, probably referring to a large media crowd swamping someone - to which Adam quips ‘Tayyyylor Swifffffft’.

Next segments shows awkwardness regarding hugs, Adam fangirling over Ke$ha and being terribly amused that she wants to ‘have his glambabies’, and Longineu’s recent twitter plugs over shiny drum sticks. More entertainment ensues when Adam tries to plug an album but doesn’t know how to pronounce the band’s name and promply ’starts arguing with the cameraman in 3…2…1…’ over it.

Plus, more about Kris Allen’s mom and Adam ends with a curious description of rockstar life: ‘In and out.. really fast.’

The music video of For Your Entertainment wasn’t released until like four days ago, but it immediately forced its way into the top 10 and kept climbing up from there - resulting in the video dominating the music video charts for the past couple of days! Even though the song never really catched on as a single and never received much airplay, it seems to have found a better destiny as a visual performance - also very well suited for youtube. No suprise there, the video is sensual yet mysterious, and very well directed.

Even Lady Gaga with her Bad romance video, not the worst to go up against, is losing out against Adam! Some speculated it was only a short-term surge, saying that he would rapidly fall down the rankings again - yet the video has proven to be a steady leader. It is also well-received on Youtube, where the combined viewings are adding up to about 400,000; not taking into account that various clips with substantial viewer counts have been deleted.

MTV also just added FYE to its POWER Rotation, implying the highest number of plays possible - around 25-30 a week! So doing very well here as well.

Now the question is, does Adam know how succesful his video is? Or was he just playing around when he innocently plugged his video on twitter three days ago?

The “For Your Entertainment” music video is now up on iTunes!
8:18 PM Dec 15th from Echofon

If you don’t have it yet, go get it from iTunes!! :D

This event not only resulted in an overabundance of cute photos (barbie dolls? Really Adam, really?) but also gave us some more interview clips! In this first one, Adam is totally fangirling over the artists that he saw walking around at Jingle Ball.. and he doesn’t miss the opportunity to plug Kris again, lol.

Kris sort of responded to the AMA controversy, and I’m sure he meant for his comments to be supportive and friendly but it sort of sounded awkward ‘Adam being Adam.. finally getting to see the real Adam’. Plus, Adam explained his interpretation of Whataya Want From Me and shares his favorite line of the song!

Very cute interview backstage, he seemed really happy and positive this night! And the reporter is SUCH a fan, having lotsa love for Adam! Talking a bit about adapting to the newly adopted fame.. and some more talk about Kris, he’s such a good and supportive friend (and even admitting he’s jealous of him. Aw!).

Someone taped a part of the Q&A held during the event; in which Adam promises us that all the songs he recorded will eventually get out there, be it as extra iTunes releases or for the international editions! And just in the end where the vid cuts off, he admits that his worst fear is that people won’t buy his album. Oh Adam. You should know better than that, the album is doing great already! :D

This is the official 2012 Music Video in Hi-Def. I personally really like those high notes towards the end of this song.

I think Adam keeps injecting his unique personal signature on the new mainstream work which is so refreshing for the music industry entering the year 2010. For example, this music video reminds me of his main scene in ‘Is Anybody Listening?’ His visual-audio presentations are unbeatable and I think this is where he thrives the most. I can’t wait to see his next music video!

Back to 2012, here is another interview during the premiere with Gettyimage (sorry if this one was posted here before):

Anyone going out to see the movie? If you do, be sure to comment back here your thoughts about the movie.

If you’re a frequent visitor on this web site, you’ve heard about the DonorsChoose.org charity project endorsed by Adam. But are you wondering is it really coming from Adam or are the Head Honchos forcing it?

I feel very confident in saying this comes from Adam. Relationships between the Idol artists and 19 Entertainment have changed from what we suspected as one-sided during the early seasons of American Idol. Everyone at 19E wants the best for Adam and all of their artists. When the artist has clear direction and vision for their career, it makes sense that 19E work with them and guide the artist to make that vision come into focus.
Adam Lambert Pictures, Images and Photos

While Adam appreciates all the love and support from his fans, and is so touched that people are spending their money on gifts for him, he has realized he has no room on the tour buses for all those gifts! I spoke two weeks ago with 19E and learned that Adam has a ton of mail and gifts waiting for him back at the 19E offices in Los Angeles. All of the mail and packages being sent to all 10 of the Idols during the Tour is gathering in storerooms and will be delivered to them upon completion of the Tour. The official I spoke with jokingly told me that basically all of the other nine’s things fit into some large boxes and Adam practically needs a room to himself for all of his fan mail! Now imagine everything that’s being given to him on the road. How big do you think the storage under the buses is? Not big enough for Adam’s fans, I imagine!

Adam is really excited about the DonorsChoose.org project where he’s asking his fans to take the money they would spend on gifts for him, and instead pick a project from the hundreds listed, and make some teachers’ and childrens’ dreams come true.

Watch the following video from Adam, forgive the choppiness of the comments inserted (it wasn’t by us!) and think about helping others. Enjoy getting lost in those theatrical eyes and bathe yourself in the smooth tones of his cool voice. After you’ve done all that, click here and help out some needy kids. Who knows where the next Adam Lambert will come from?!?

Below is Adam Lambert appearance on Best Week Ever.

Part 1

PART 2 (Adam fans fast forward to Adam at 2:30):

I’m dying for Adam to show up on Saturday Night Live now. I’ve been telling everyone since the beginning, Adam is not only one of the best american singers. He is the modern ‘triple threat,’ he can sing, act AND dance. He will surprise us and the best is yet to come my friends (yes, I will keep repeating myself)

HQ Video, pictures and articles plus reviews of Adam Lambert’s performance of Wanna Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin during Rock week.

AMAZING comments from ALL the Judges. All the performances and comments were improvised too. Simon said the only problem is no one can top Adam’s performance now!

Studio Version from iTunes (AMAZING, THE BEST STUDIO VERSION IN MY OPINION!!!)

He’s Giving Us Every Inch of His Love.. And We’ll Take It All

As soon as they introduced the four contestants; Adam fans KNEW this was going to be a great night for our guy! This is the Adam we love!!!!! Just seeing him all decked out in his rock regalia was enough to get me super psyched! The spiky hair was perfect tonight. He looked like a mega rock star, and when you add the voice on top of that, and the showmanship, it is obvious that the Rock God of Idol has arrived and is here to stay!!! Look at his family and listen to that crowd!!! Listen to him!!! That was better than the original and I challenge any one of you to argue with me on that one!!!Adam’s fans were eagerly anticipating tonight, but he did even more than we all expected him to do with this theme and with a song from a legend like Zep. Adam sang first, and immediately afte rward, I was on a high that I am still on. I honestly would like to stay up here forever. The guy is a superstar, right here, right now, and is only going to get better with time. How awesome is that to look forward to????

There really are no words that can adequately express the impact Adam’s music has on his fans, or how his performances move us. Watching Paula’s face as Adam sings is a small indication. This week, Adam sings that he’ll give every inch of his love and I know many who are willing to take this and more! As Kara said last week, our mouths collectively drop open for Adam and stay in that position the entire time he sings because of the incredulity he induces. How can anyone do those things with their voice? How can anyone sing a Zep song and outdo Zep? How can his performances move and affect us so deeply? He has the power and talent to do that, and that is a rare gift which we are totally awed by and appreciate. Tonight, Adam set the tone for the show with unparalleled energy, sex appeal, and vocal finesse, and no one was able to match him or even get into t he same galaxy as him for the rest of the night.

Idol judges throw stones on Rock Week

http://blogs.reuters.com/fanfare/2009/05/0…s-on-rock-week/

QUOTE
In contrast to last week on “American Idol” when it seemed the contestants could do no wrong, the judges found plenty of stones to throw at the Top 4 on Rock Week. Except for Adam Lambert, who as usual thrilled the panelists.allison-iraheta

Lambert, coming off his shocking first trip to the Bottom Three last week, sang British supergroup Led Zeppelin’s hit “Whole Lotta Love” and struck all the high notes, jerking his head to the side in rhythm with the band and glowering with an expression Elvis Presley might have worn if he was fused with John Travolta. The judges loved it.

“You are a rock god,” said judge Kara DioGuardi, who was wearing a studded leather jacket that looked a lot like Lambert’s own outfit.

Even alpha judge Simon Cowell was impressed. “No one can top that now,” Cowell told the contestant nicknamed “Glambert,” who on Tuesday night sported his usual eyeliner.

But after Lambert wowed everyone, the rest of the contestants all ran into some criticism.[...]

Top 4 Slashed by Rock; only Adam escapes unscathed

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-gilt…p_b_197508.html

QUOTE

It was a very weak night for the Top 4. After everyone delivered a solid performance on Big Band Night last week, the Top 4 tackled rock n roll Tuesday…and came up short. Only Adam Lambert delivered the goods. The rest were weak vocally and/or chose the wrong song. Guest mentor was Slash, who proved coolly indifferent to most of them but admitted Adam had the vocal goods. Still, it’s pretty hard to stay hip and indifferent when you’re appearing on Idol and Ryan Seacrest slaps you five.

ADAM LAMBERT — Sang Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love,” the first time Led Zep had been done on Idol. Just as anyone will appear on Idol (who’s next, Johnny Rotten?), clearly any song can now be cleared for performing on Idol. Saying “no” would be like refusing to have your song performed on the Grammys. They do so many genres it would be churlish to think your song would suffer by association. My main complaint with Adam was his look: he went back to the spiky hair and a collarless leather jacket opened to the waist. It all looked like a costume to me. Vocally he wailed away with aplomb. I certainly never expected to hear “I’m gonna give you every inch of my love!” sung on Idol. All the judges raved (though Kara seemed to be raving about her own rave as much as Adam).

ADAM AND ALLISON — Duet on Foghat’s “Slow Ride.” Again, not expecting to hear “Slow down, go down” on Idol, was I? They were good and Allison was indeed much better than in her solo spot. Did she save herself, I wonder? Simon gave the credit to Adam, but wondered the same thing.

Top 4 wrapup: Rockin’ the house — literally!

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/conf…html?cmpid=2628

QUOTE
So there was a little more electricity in the air than usual when the show’s first performer, Adam Lambert, took the stage. And in keeping with the theme of the evening, Lambert blasted through Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” and essentially laid waste to his competition. Whether you’re an Adam fan or not, his vocal control during this performance was awe-inspiring.

After that, it was all downhill.

Here’s a breakdown of the evening, from best to worst:

- Adam Lambert (pictured): This guy is one of a kind. Usually whoever opens the show suffers in the voting, but I can’t imagine he’ll be in danger this week.

Dream on

http://www.boston.com/ae/tv/blog/2009/05/39idol39_dream.html

QUOTE
For those of you who have been complaining that Adam Lambert shrieks when he sings in falsetto, I offer you one Danny Gokey. His final note on “Dream On” was perhaps the most painful single note I have ever heard on “American Idol.” Honestly, I feel a little bad for the guy, since he’s not the type who could ever sell a rock song. (It’s not like Sammy Davis Jr. would have sounded any more credible doing Aerosmith.) Still, with nearly every rock song in the world to choose from, Danny chose this one, and that’s all on him.

[...]

And Adam…what can I say? As Randy said, there warn’t nothin’ Broadway about that. The man dares to do Zeppelin — a huge, frightening dare — and he pulls it off. I’m not sure he’s ever looked as comfortable onstage. This week, his fans will be supercharged, too. Can we shut this thing down already?

Ring of Fire High Quality Video and MP3 (below). Adam is on FIRE, another HOT performance tonight, true to who he is as an artist and not afraid to take risks. A very creative, current, unique, revolutionary and sexy version of ‘Ring of Fire’ using a middle eastern scale. Ring of Fire is a country music song popularized by Johnny Cash and co-written with his wife June Carter. This was personally my FAVORITE Adam Lambert’s performance vs. Black or White and Satisfaction. To me this is one of those catchy songs that you just can’t get out of your head once you hear it a couple of times.

Watch the video and let us know what do you think about this performance? You can comment below, follow the forum thread or join our live chat discussion.

FINALLY… my personal comments:

First off, I’m a studio musician and I’ve been a musician for 13 years. Like a lot of people would objectively agree, the music industry in general has been at its lowest since 2004. With ‘lowest’ I (we) mean poor melodic composition and songwriting, no uniqueness/originality, technique, lack of connection and less passion in delivery.

As a musician I feel this is driven mainly the struggles a musician must endure to make a living, the mainstream media and how many ’sell out’ artists make it in the business. Musicians making music to make sure it sells, instead of to make sure is a phenomenal melodic composition that connects with people. There are other factors but that’s beyond the scope of this forum.

Beyond Adam Lambert being good looking and his image (well, I’m a straight male), I’m really a fan of Adam Lambert’s art. I TRULY believe in him as an artist. For me, tonight with ‘Ring of Fire,’ he showed how willing he is to take risks, stay true to himself despite all the pressure and to even push his own boundaries. I thought his performance was very catchy and simply BRILLIANT.

While I found myself today watching ‘Black’ for the 100th time in a Pearl Jam concert (where the singer tries hard not to cry because he is so connected to the lyrics of his song), or listening to the Beatles, Led Zeppellin, Pink Floyd, and many of the bands that American Idol praises, I actually think that the music industry is just starting to make a huge come back and people like Adam Lambert are leading the way.

Yes, it is rebellious and it feels like another music revolution.

Cheers to the future of classic: ADAM LAMBERT.

Thanks for hearing me out
