The Indianapolis, Indiana concert took place at the Clowe’s Memorial Hall at Butler University last night, August 31, 2010.
As you will hear in one of the video’s, Adam announces that he was actually BORN in Indianapolis!! Did you all know that already???
He is, once again, his beautiful, extraordinary self… check it out…

He also seems to be dancing like there is no tomorrow!! I won’t tell you where, but there are some ridiculous dance moves in some of these vid’s. Now, GO FIND THEM…

We’re all excited to follow Adam on his Glam Nation Tour and check out the concert videos. I start my day by visiting Sue’s great tour articles to watch all the performances, imagining that I’ve been at each and every show. But let’s not get too carried away with the tour and forget we can make a real impact on TV/Radio by voting on VH1’s Top Twenty. Adam’s joyously playful video, If I Had You has slipped to the number 6 spot. I’ve only heard it once on my San Diego stations! We need to hear it so much we’re tired of it, if possible.
Click here to vote! You don’t even have to vote on the other 19 places, unless you want to. Just “drag and drop” Adam into the #1 box and click Submit. The artists are listed alphabetically by last name, so you have to scroll down a bit. It’s really easy to do it 5 or 10 times, or more. Immediately after voting hit the Rank ‘Em Again tab and vote again and again. Do you have 5 minutes everyday so you can help? Whattaya say Glambs? Can we do it?? Will you commit 5 minutes a day to Adam and If I Had You? If you go to the site, you’ll see that a certain American Idol Winner is also up for a vote. You can throw him some votes too, but only in the #2 or lower boxes!! Please don’t hate me - I’m ALL for Adam!!
The results come out on Saturday morning. It may be too late for us to really effect tomorrow’s standing, but we can certainly change next week’s, and the next and the next and the next!

Adam Lambert is a bonafide member of pop culture and I can prove it! I was watching the Comedy Central roast of David Hasselhoff on Sunday, and comedian Greg Giraldo included mention of Adam in his bit. This is another example of how Adam’s fully staked his spot on the minds of the public and the industry.
I’m including the video for you to see yourself, but I’m warning you, these comedy bits are full of filthy words and thoughts. There is nothing negative said about Adam. In fact, it’s a total compliment to mention him! The standard practice of the roast is for each comedian or personality to get up and completely rip on not only the guest of honor, but on each and every member of the dais. And they don’t hold anything back. Sure, most of the really filthy words are bleeped, but you’ll still get the intent. If you can’t take it, then don’t click on the video. I don’t want to read one comment below criticizing me for posting this. It’s up to you whether you want to watch. We feel it’s our responsibility to bring you every new bit on Adam that we can!
So, if you’re inclined to watch (and remember, I don’t want to hear any complaints!!), he mentions Adam at 4:15 when he talks about David Hasselhoff.
I hope you laugh your buns off! I did!!
~ Carol ~
P.S. I know I haven’t been around much lately. Big thanks to Sue for always being there and working hard for Adam and this site. Ever since seeing Adam in Costa Mesa, I’ve been traveling to see him in other places (Las Vegas) as well as following a few other bands and seeing their great shows. I love finding new bands and supporting them too! Plus, I’ve gone back to school for an additional degree and school has started. I still plan on bringing you all the news I can find on Adam!
Mention of Adam at 4:15
- Hey everyone is Fernando (dreamsound), we are having a great time with all the Adam-lambert.org fans at the concert in San Diego #
- San Diego concert is kicking butt!! Hanging out with the Adam-lambert.org fans!!! #
Want to get this up quickly! . . . Last night, fansite administrator Lila Hayes and I were at the Orange County Fairgrounds box office, trying to sell some extra tickets to that night’s show. What do we hear? OMG - it’s Adam singing Voodoo! They’re doing the soundcheck!! So, I start looking towards the entrance gates, and what do I see? Not much, but if there’s a seam to peek through, I’ll find it. I find a gate that’s open about 4 inches, so I walk through it into the interior courtyard, but still outside the outdoor arena. I go back to the door and call Lila in. We just started walking toward the entry ramps, and Lila is fearful we’ll get caught. What’s the worse that can happen? They’ll call us back? So we walk into the upper of the amphitheatre, and there’s no one there. No one, but the complete band doing the soundcheck on stage!! Being complete gutfull (new word that Lila has created to describe me!) I start walking down, down, down until we’re at the entry for the 1st 3 rows. There are 2 other people sitting in the 5th row listening. We smile at them, and move into the 3rd row. And there we had it. A private concert for about 35 minutes. We would have stayed longer, but we were putting on the Glamb dinner at Mimi’s Cafe, and Lila felt we really should be there early, to greet early arrivers. But no!!! How can we leave - this is too good!! I was hoping our friends and readers would forgive us for this incredible excuse! We stayed later than we wanted, but still made it to the dinner at the exact starting time. During the whole time we were there, no one gave us any attention. We couldn’t believe no one was asking us to leave. The band didn’t even take a second away from what they were doing to ask us to leave. I was kind of worried that they’d mind us sneaking into their private work time, but we had to figure that if they didn’t want us there, they would have had someone ask us to leave.
Now it was Lila’s turn to be brave. About halfway in, she managed to turn on her flip camera and video (or at least audio) what we were hearing. She didn’t want to be obvious so she hid it just at her waist level, pointing the camera up. Hence the great shots of the lighting! Every great once in a while, you see someone. But the sound is amazing!
**JUST ADDED!!! WE FOUND THE ONE SECOND THAT THE CAMERA CAUGHT MONTE AND ADAM ON STAGE!!**
It was such a complete education to hear what the band goes through to make the sound as perfect for the audience as they can. And listen to Adam trying “something with the rhythm of it” on Whole Lotta Love. The improvisation on the lyrics were EPIC. To be honest, I’m a little afraid that he may not have wanted it publicly known that he “wants to get laid!” After all, Lila’s videos from 12 hours ago have already beaten me to the internet! We’re seeing them on all the Adam reporting sites and twitter is already full of these clips. But Glambs, we want you to know that it came from US! And we give it to YOU!
I’m going to try for the soundcheck today, but maybe I’ll face security!?!?
Enjoy!!

Adam Lambert’s dad, Eber Lambert has a brilliant mind for comedy and telling it like it is. There’s no doubt where the brothers get their sense of humor from. If you follow him on Twitter, you’ll be rolling from many of his tweets (and educated by the rest). Just catch the latest, obviously speaking to the Kansas City protesters last week.

Check this hilarious comment about Neil’s two-dimensional presence at a Denver signing. Did you all know that Neil is working as a production assistant (read gofer!) on Adam’s tour this summer? What a great brother to employ him. Now, where do the rest of us get in line?
@ravengirl57 http://twitpic.com/26ecwu - Tour merch folks are cutting edge: I’m sure the lifesize Neil mannequins will be a big seller about 21 hours ago (yesterday)

Just doing our best to give you some alternative pieces of Adam-tainment! Hope you enjoy!!

It’s Carol - filling in for Maestro Sue on the Glam Nation Tour posts while she’s on vacation! I didn’t have any Glamb spy reporters at the show, so I’m posting a review published in the Kansas City Star written by Timothy Finn. And of course the videos. These aren’t the best for sound or completeness, but until I find better they’ll have to do. I think his version of Whole Lotta Love was epic! I have to highlight the first video. It’s an absolutely adorable quick audience sing-along, led by Adam on If I Had You. And no posting about the Kansas City, MO appearance would be complete without SOME mention of the horrible display of how low human (were they even human?) behavior can sink. Don’t kill me folks, we are trying to be a news site here, not just a fan site. But I’m only going to include space for the brilliant answer! Of course we loved Adam’s tweet: *sigh* God doesn’t Hate.
~ Enjoy! ~

Review | Adam Lambert at the Midland
By TIMOTHY FINN
The Kansas City Star
When its eulogy is writ, “American Idol” will be remembered most for a very few things: Simon Cowell; the pseudo-freaks who signed up for auditions; and a few of its champions and runners-up.
Thursday night, one of “Idols” most memorable contestants, 2009 runner-up Adam Lambert, sold out the Midland theater, a feat rarely accomplished these days, unless you’re Leonard Cohen or apart of one of Johnny Dare’s hard-rock bonanzas.
To give you an idea of how inaccurate the “Idol” barometer is when it comes to predicting success, Lambert lost to Kris Allen, who earlier this year was one of the opening acts for the Barenaked Ladies and Counting Crows. Lambert spins in an orbit unlike any other “Idol” winner or runner-up. Instead of third-generation grunge or watered-down R&B/soul/pop, he deals primarily in a mix of dance-pop and -rock — the kind favored by disco divas — and gives it all a light coating of goth.
It has helped him build a battalion of fans ages 12 to 60, which was the makeup of Thursday’s crowd.
His tour is called “The Glam Nation Tour”; his diehard fans call themselves Glamberts; and his show is loaded with lots of cabaret, choreography and gender-bending costumes — a mix of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Culture Club and Cher.
He took the Midland stage in one of those costumes, an ensemble of fur, fringe, leather, rhinestones and a black top hat, singing the song “VooDoo.” He would deliver 75 minutes of dance and music — some of it big and loud with heavy beats, some of it soft and acoustic. It included covers of Johnny Cash (”Ring of Fire”) and Led Zeppelin (”Whole Lotta Love”), proving that nerve and audacity are not two of his deficiencies.
Lambert separated himself from his “Idol” pack with his sense of campiness and his voice, which is big and beefy enough to take on Robert Plant or one of his own big-beat dance songs, like “Sure Fire Winners” or “Music Again.” It’s also agile enough to handle a guitar or piano ballad, like “Sleepwalker” or “Soaked.”
The set list comprised more than a dozen songs, most from his “For Your Entertainment” album, now approaching 700,000 in sales in the U.S. (more than double Allen’s debut). But the sights, including a laser show, and the dancing were as much an attraction as the songs.
It was all appreciated by the crowd of more than 2,500, some of whom had gathered outside the theater before lunch to assure a good spot on the floor.
Many wore tributes to him, like jewelry bearing his visage or an extra-heavy application of mascara. Even though the sound could have been a bit cleaner, most devoured it with the kind of intense enthusiasm and devotion that another “Idol” contestant generated — Clay Aiken.
He has learned that longevity is a tricky and elusive pursuit. Lambert, too, may learn the same thing, but for now he looks like a guy who lost a battle but is winning the long-term war.
Allison Iraheta: She, too, was a 2009 “Idol” runner-up and during her brief opening set, she showed off what got her there: a voice big enough to handle Pat Benatar (”Heartbreaker”) and a few of her own hard-pop songs, which evoke the sound and styles of Pink and Joan Jett.

What would a day be like if we had no news about Adam? Thank goodness that day hasn’t happened yet! Today, we’re filling you in on the top 10 things that Adam’s gotta have on tour. I have my own list of things that I can’t go to one of his shows without and I’ll add those at the end. If you have something I forgot, please add it in your comments!
Adam’s Top Ten Things To Bring On Tour
1. My iphone! I can’t leave home without my phone to keep in contact with my friends and family. It also holds all of my music!
2. My computer of course. This is where I get to keep my creative juices flowing and I get to note a lot of my ideas. This is also where I get to keep in touch with my fans! Do you think he reads our website?!
3. A flip cam. This allows me to capture moments behind the scenes to share with my fans!
4. A good book. With so much traveling and time on a bus, it is great to have a good read with me.
5. Nail Polish! Gotta keep my nails neat!
6. Journal. Here I can write lyrics for any ideas of songs that I have as well as take notes on all of these amazing experiences that I am getting to participate in.
7. A hat! When I don’t want to do my hair, my hat always comes in handy. We’ll be watching, Adam!
8. Sharpies! Gotta have lots of these so I can sign autographs for fans! Thank you so much for this Adam! The last time I got an autograph from another artist, I had to dig through my purse for a pen!
9. Liquid Chlorophyll. Greens are so vital to good health. I just checked this out. It sounds like a great supplement. I bet sales go through the roof now!
10. My jewelry. I can’t leave home without my accessories.
Carol’s List of Things Needed for an Adam Lambert Concert!
1. A great outfit. It doesn’t have to look like I’m trying to be him - I’ve gotten over that. But one that makes me feel great!
2. Rest. If I’m spending the whole day waiting in line for a GA concert this is a must!
3. If it’s a GA concert, paper and pen to make a list of people waiting in line and markers to write the number on the back of their hands. This is just in case it wasn’t started before I arrive.
4. Wet ‘N Wild Gliltter Gel. Gotta spread the sparklies all over! Thanks to Janet for turning me on to this one!
5. A fully charged cell phone and camera, for those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
6. My best friend Lila. No Adam event is the same without her! And I certainly can’t forget Ellen, Glenda, Janet and site-author Sue too!
What are your “must haves?”
~ Carol Glamb #7 ~

If you haven’t already heard, Adam has a new tattoo! It’s a lazy “8″ lying on its side — the standard symbol for infinity. I suppose you could also say it stands for eternity.
But what does it mean, lying there directly above/below his eye of Horus tattoo? If you look at the eye straight on, the infinity tat looks like it’s below the eye of Horus. So even though the new tattoo is above the older one as your eyes would travel up Adam’s arm (and whose eyes wouldn’t?), I’d say the new infinity tattoo — the lazy 8 — is officially below the eye of horus.
So what does that mean, if anything? Why not put the infinity symbol on the other wrist? My guess is that the two together have significant meaning for Adam.
The eye of horus is an Egyptian symbol associated with Horus, the son of Isis and Osiris. In a divine battle, Horus’ left eye (which was the moon) was plucked out. (Horus’ right eye was the sun.) When the eye was healed and restored to Horus, he found out it had great powers to heal and protect. Since then, the eye of horus has symbolized healing and protection.
The downward spiral under the eye is similar to the eye markings on a hawk; Horus’ head was that of a falcon. Green and blue are often used in amulets of the eye of Horus, as it is in Adam’s eye of Horus tattoo. Those colors symbolized growth and regeneration to ancient Egyptians. Horus himself came to symbolize light and good, while the eye itself stood for the struggle between light and dark, good and evil. That’s all nice, but for me the eye of Horus will forever be associated with Adam, his music, and the light he has brought into my own life.
The infinity sign needs little or no explanation. Anyone who has had any algebra might recognize this mathematical sign. It means forever, infinite, ever-lasting, eternal, having no end. (Kind of like my love for Adam!)
So put them together and you have healing and protection forever, until the end of time. Even if Adam didn’t mean it this way, that is certainly my wish for him, his music, and all those around him. May they all be blessed and protected — forever.
***Disclaimer – I’m not advocating trying to get out of jury duty. We have a much-envied and highly sought-after justice system, and I’m proud to serve. But dang it, it just worked out this way!!***
While we’re in the debut week of Adam Lambert’s awesome Glam Nation Tour, I thought it would be kind of amusing to throw this out there. All of this is true, I promise!
My first week of jury duty was in February: the week that was ending with Adam’s Fantasy Springs concert. Of course I was going to the concert! My jury duty number was 118, so I knew I’d get called in to report towards the end of the week. When I called in on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I wasn’t needed. My number would be the next called, to report on Friday. But Sue (yes, our other incredible author on the web site) was flying out to San Diego Friday, and my BFF Lila (our web site administrator) was picking her up and the three of us were supposed to head to the desert (3 hour drive) for the first of our many weekends-to-come of Glam God Greatness. So I went to jury duty that morning and rescheduled. I had to pick a week at random, so I chose the week of April 12. This would be experience #1.
So here I am the week of April 12 with 108 as my group number now. But OMG, Adam is appearing on American Idol that week as mentor and Wednesday was the performance show and Lila and I had tickets! So wouldn’t you know it, Tuesday when I called in, they said I was to report the next day. I can’t believe I did this, but instead of going to jury duty, I went up to LA with Lila, having to leave San Diego well before 8 AM to get in line early. I called the jury commissioner from line and rescheduled . . . again! This time, I chose the week of June 7. Now we have me getting out of jury duty because of Adam for a second time.
Now it’s June 7. Sorry, you need a little back story here. In between scheduling jury duty and now, I’ve also decided that I’m flying to Milwaukee on June 14 to join Sue and Ellen on their AdamTourTrek, attending both Milwaukee and Hammond’s shows next week. Sue knows Ellen through their hometown Glamb group in the Chicago area and I got to know and love Ellen at Fantasy Springs.
Back to June 7, the beginning of my week of jury duty. I was in Las Vegas last week helping my sister move in. While I was driving back from Vegas last Friday, I remembered that I needed to start calling in for jury duty that weekend. So I’m on the phone Monday morning around 10 AM, I open the kitchen cabinet to look at my calendar posted on the inside of the cabinet door, and OH CRAP!!! I was supposed to have called in that weekend for jury duty. They got smart and assigned me Group 101 this time. Of course I’d be called in for Monday. OMG – what am I going to do?? It may not sound like it, but I’ve always been a goody-goody. Oh, what has Adam done to me? Are the Jury Police going to show up at my door?!? For the heck of it, I called the recording just to see how many groups they took. Oh man, I’m saved!! They didn’t call in ANY groups!! I can’t believe my luck. I call Monday after 5 PM for Tuesday, and again they didn’t call any groups in! But my luck ran out and I had to report on Wednesday. So Wednesday morning comes and I report in at 7:45 AM. They welcome the roomful of sleepy, grumpy, patriotic citizens and tell us most cases are from 1-3 days and if we have any conflicts and can’t commit to serving for that amount of time then we need to go up to the desk and reschedule. Now, I have been called to jury duty three times before, and never have I been put on a jury. I just spent the day there waiting and wasn’t needed, so I was excused for one year. They tell us they’re only choosing jurors for 2 trials. They’ll be needing 24 people, plus a few more for alternates, right? There were at least 100 people there. What were my chances? First trial – they don’t call my name. Phew! One down, one to go. I power my iPod up and start listening to Adam. Mmmm, sounds great. Can’t wait for next week when I get to see him LIVE! Here they go, calling names for trial #2. I put Adam on pause and cross my fingers. Wouldn’t you know it they call my name!!! Oh poop – or something like that!
We go into the courtroom, meet the judge, attorneys and defendant. Then they start asking all the potential jurors (36 of us) questions. It takes forever. It seems EVERYONE in the room that day has prior experience with, or knows someone who is a policeman, customs agent, trial attorney, etc. Some are ER nurses who have to work with victims of drug abuse. Our case is involving a man on probation that was caught with a gun, ammunition, and controlled substances. It is taking forever to listen to my co-jurors name everyone in their contact book, then answer the question of whether this information will bias them. And of course everyone says “no!” They say this trial should probably conclude next Wednesday. OH CRAPPP!!!! I’m flying to Milwaukee to start my Summer of Adam on MONDAY!!!!
On our first break, I go back to the waiting room and tell the desk lady “I’m so sorry; I completely forgot that I’m flying out of town next Monday. I can’t be put on a jury.” She looks at me with that “you’re telling me this NOW?” expression. She admonishes me like a school child stating “you should have told me this earlier this morning.” I look down and say “I know. I’m so sorry.” She instructs me to go back upstairs and tell the judge. We were still on break and they call out my juror number. I go in the courtroom and it’s everyone but the jurors inside. The judge already knows I was just downstairs and says something about me not being able to serve. That I need to go back and reschedule. (At least the cute attorney smiled at me.) I go back downstairs and the desk lady asks for my badge and scans it. Then she says, “okay, goodbye.” What I don’t have to reschedule? “No, you’re done.”
So that’s it!! Yay!!! That’s how Adam Lambert got me out of jury duty, three times!! If I get another notice, of course I’ll go in. Unless it’s during Costa Mesa or Las Vegas week!!!
~ Carol Glamb #7 ~
P.S. I know I’ve been gone for a while. Some jerko hacked into my email account, loading me up with viruses and was sending spam after spam, mostly for products to give others a Glam Bulge! My computer was in the shop and I’ve had to de-install and re-install like crazy, and I’ve been out of touch. A huge thanks to Sue for completely taking over and keeping everyone filled in with everything about Adam. Sue, I love you and I can’t wait to see you tomorrow!!
Kerry Kolsch is a strong supporter of Adam Lambert and has published many articles about him. I just discovered this one when I was investigating our Forum, which until now, has gone relatively undiscovered by not only our very active Glamb community, but also by Sue and me, the authors on this web site! I just came across this article that was linked in the Forum, and found it to be really good reading. There are a couple of typos in the linked article – a few forms that should be froms! I love the talk about what Kris had to face on tour, performing after Adam. But don’t worry, the gist is good; it’s not a slam on Kris Allen. While we’re waiting to get blown away from Adam’s Glam Nation Tour, the descriptions here about last summer’s tour bring back such good (and HOT!) memories.
Adam Lambert Has Emerged as the Star of Season 8 of American Idol and Who Won?
About a year ago Adam Lambert and Kris Allen stood on the stage and Ryan Seacrest announced that Kris Allen was the winner of Season 8 of American Idol. An American Idol victory can be a fast track to fame and fortune or it can be a pop culture blip that leads to obscurity. For Kris Allen the title became quite the burden to bear. There are high expectations placed on every American Idol winner but in Allen’s case he had the added weight of being the singer who defeated Adam Lambert in a singing contest.
Allen started his American Idol reign amidst the controversy that was described as Textgate. His home state, Arkansas, produced 38 million of the almost 100 million votes that determined the winner. Many of the votes came from Watch Parties sponsored by AT&T, a corporate sponsor of American Idol. Adam Lambert was chosen to be the water boy to put out this media fire and with dignity and class advised his fans that there was no issue and that they should move on. Little did Adam know that he was misled and Arkansas did change the outcome of Season 8.

Are there things you’ve been anxious to discuss about Adam Lambert that haven’t been related to one of the articles we’ve posted? Do you want to list concert tickets you have for sale, or maybe find tickets for a certain venue? This is the perfect place to do that!
Many times Sue and I have seen discussions start on an article that have nothing to do with the topic. While these discussions sometimes take off and get lots of interest, they sort of hijack the topic, and readers who want to see comments related to the article don’t find them, and check out.
Maybe you didn’t know we have a FORUM section on this Glambsite. We haven’t promoted it before, and for that we’re sorry. There are many topics that were started, but since people didn’t know about the FORUM, never took off. But let’s see it take off now! In the FORUM, you can start your own discussions, join other discussions, or just let everyone know something you feel is important to know about Adam.
Here’s how:
1. Go to the top of this site and click on FORUM. The first box that comes up is Most Recent Topics. Keep scrolling down – bypass this list.
2. You’ll then see some boxes with the headings of Adam Lambert, American Idol, Community, and Announcements & Information. (Fernando created those headings when he originated this site and for right now, those are the ones we have to go by.)
3. Click one of these BLUE headings. Discussions already in progress will appear. You can contribute to one of these.
*** If you were a user of the forums on the American Idol website, you’ll feel right at home now!
4. If you want to start your own discussion, click on any discussion in the main heading you want it to appear in. then click the Add Topic button. I would imagine most things will go under Adam Lambert or Announcements & Information.
5. Name your topic in the title box, type your comments in the text box, and click Post New Topic below the text box.
I just started a topic under Announcements for concert tickets called Adam’s Concerts – Who has extra tickets? Who’s looking for tickets? Let’s use this one heading all summer for Concert Tickets. If everyone who has a different city to post for starts a new topic, the info will be too hard to find and the Forum will get muddied up with multiple ticket listings.
Help your discussion succeed by commenting about it on Twitter and Facebook. Remember to give the Heading/Title so people can find it!
I’m really excited to see this succeed and hope you will enjoy it. We really can do a lot of good with an active FORUM! But please Glambs, let’s keep it clean! We know about all of Adam’s “gifts” and what we’d like to do if we had a moment or three alone with him! But here’s a required warning: If topics are posted that are found to be inappropriate, they will be deleted.
Can’t wait to hear back from you and see your input!

USA Today has come out with the 5 Summer Tours that offer the best value and entertainment, and of course Adam Lambert’s Glam Nation Tour has been included in that mix! I love the way they refer to us, his fans! I’ll post the write-up for Adam, but for the other four, please click here.
Adam Lambert
The dashing and colorful American Idol runner-up headlines his first North American tour.
Setting the stage: Lambert’s Glam Nation tour kicks off June 4 in Wilkes-Barre, PA., with more than 30 concerts to follow. Shows are currently scheduled through Sept. 18 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Why it’s a tour de force: Lambert, a dazzling singer, set the Idol standard for showmanship, and his devoted fan base will turn out in full force. The tour’s support acts — flame-haired fellow Idol finalist Allison Iraheta and Australian guitarist Orianthi — make the package especially promising: Orianthi played on Lambert’s album, and Iraheta’s Slow Ride duet with Lambert was a highlight of their Idol season and the subsequent tour. — Brian Mansfield
Cost: $29-$73.50

Attention Glambs – San Diego’s Radio Sophie 103.7 has a challenge every night, where they ask listeners to vote on 2 new songs not currently in their rotation. The winner comes back nightly until defeated. Last night was the debut of Adam Lambert’s If I Had You, and it won against 6-night champion Bob Schneider’s 40 Dog! I’m sure if the winner stays on long enough, the song will be put into regular rotation.
The challenge is in the 9 PM hour, but you can vote online RIGHT NOW!! I’m not “encouraging” those outside San Diego to participate, but I know you’re free to do whatever you want. We don’t want him disqualified if a massive amount of votes come in that could not be from San Diego listeners, so please everyone vote with caution! Remember what happened with WWFM? Check back every morning to see if he won, and keep voting.
***Right now he’s ahead of Speakers by Days Difference 76% - 24%. Let’s keep him on. He’s already moved up from 73% - 27% in the last 10 minutes!

****NEW VIDEO ADDED - 5/6/10******
GlamNation Promo Video - Are you sitting down??
Oh this concert is going to blow everyone out of the water!
I’m just wondering how many of you just went through the hair pulling experience of trying to buy tickets to any one of Adam’s shows that went on pre-sale this morning? I have a new term for this ticket-buying anxiety. I call it “Glamxiety!” By the way, if you haven’t tried to buy tickets yet, VOODOO is the code word for all the shows, and will be active for a day or two more.
I’m sure we all were hitting the “refresh” button on our keyboards this moring at 9:57 AM, making sure we could purchase the best seats the second they went on sale. I was buying the Costa Mesa/July 27 show. At 10:00:01 Ticketmaster was saying the back terrace sections were the best available??? WTF??? After rejecting these I kept trying. Over the next 20 minutes I was able to come up with some better seats, but certainly not front and center I was hoping for. I am really excited knowing that I’ll be seeing Adam on his Glam Nation Tour! I just wanted to be close enough to catch the flying glitter! Rumor has it that the scalper operations have special software that somehow gets into Ticketmaster 1 or 2 minutes early. This would sure explain what happened to everyone I’ve already spoken with, who were also trying like crazy for tickets.
If you have extra seats for any of Adam’s concerts and are willing to post them here, please feel free. This would be a way to make sure the concerts are filled with the Glambs who have become some of your best friends! Please don’t give price info though - just give an email address you feel safe revealing. That way, people who are interested can contact you and the pricing will be a private party issue.
Hopefully more tour dates will be announced and we will all be able to see Adam on his rise to superstar stature. Because once this tour is over, he’ll be there in everyone’s eyes baby eyes!! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist!!)

From fine clocks to cheese and chocolate, Swizterland has a lot to boast about. Well, so does America with our own Adam Lambert! I’m so glad the rest of the world is taking such good care of him and showing him their love and devotion. You’ll see (or at least hear!) from these videos that Adam is truly doing what he was born to do.
Here’s the latest in from Zurich, Switzerland. Sorry for the lack of lighting on these videos. Until I can find better quality, we’ll have to let his magnificent voice serenade us. And really, haven’t we all dreamed about this?!?
He’s really having a good time going back-and-forth with the audience. I would have loved more of this at Fantasy Springs. This looked more like a club, so maybe he slipped back into the Upright Cabaret persona. He starts getting really chatty, which I think shows how relaxed he is on the stage. Either that or he’s enjoyed some “European Libation!!”
I especially love the rockin’ version of Mad World at the end. Best version I’ve ever heard!!
Enjoy!

Whattaya Want From Me -

Mad World
Here’s another wonderful video from last week that I just found!
We start with Adam answering questions at 3FM radio station in Amsterdam with Michiel:
Here’s Adam and his full band performing acoustic versions of Whattaya Want From Me and Music Again at the station:
Adam has given us a new song to fall in love with, Can’t Let You Go. And after five times listening to it, I can’t even tell you what it’s doing to me. It’s on the European release of the For Your Entertainment CD. Oh, those lucky people. First Voodoo, and now this!
I can’t wait for the video. If we thought Whattaya Want From Me showed his emotional side, this one will go 10 steps further. You can hear his heart tearing out on this recording. I have never been moved by a performer before and this is the second song of his that has me crying. There is no doubt that Adam reaches a level so rare in the music industry. Only opera singers have regularly moved their audiences to tears. How can this be happening? If he performs this on his GlamNation Tour, we have to remember to bring tissues!

Short and sweet: Here are more great videos from Adam Lambert’s trip to Finland to add to your day’s required viewing!
~ Carol ~
Adam arrives in Helsinki, Finland.
Adam at Stockmann’s department store, graciously greeting his fans and giving autographs.
Live Interview - Adam is incredibly funny at the end where he goes on and on with ideas for his Ultimate Concert - the one with no buget limits!
Adam recieved a very unique gift from this interviewer. I wonder when we’ll see him performing in it?
YLE Radio Interview from last month:
Adam was all a “twitter” last night giving his fans immediate messages about If I Had You as his next single.
Starting with the cover art:
Check it
Followed by his instruction to us (spelling is edited):
Request ‘If I Had You’ at your favorite radio station now!!! Let’s blow this sh*t up!!!
Then to make sure we knew who to credit with the gorgeous cover:
Then a reminder, with a very valid caution to us:
Request IF I HAD YOU w your fav radio station but remember: once a day! Don’t abuse the privledge!
I love you all so much!
Then he just got all happy giving us three tweets with the lyrics: (we’re thrilled to get his tweets, even if he made a slip or two on the lyrics, right?)
“There’s a thin line tween a dark side and a light side”
“there’s a thin line tween a wild time and a flatline”
“the flashing of the lights- It might feel so good, but I got you stuck on my mind!”

When the above picture was prematurely released as the supposed cover art for If I Had You, some of the fanworld was again thrown into a bit of a tizzy over the selection. Remember the reactions to the For Your Entertainment CD cover art? But if people had taken a breath and waited, they might have realized they’d seen this picture before. At least, the people who buy the actual CD, not just get the download version. It was the first picture inside the CD booklet. You know, the one where most of us need magnifying glasses to read the lyrics in!
But now the true picture has been revealed. I’m very glad that we have new art to look at - when will the Museum of Adam Lambert open?!?! I want posters!!
Let us know your thoughts. Cast your vote in the comments - would you have preferred this as the CD cover?

Here’s the official picture:

Adam Lambert is continuing on his World Domination Promo Tour. He just landed in Finland yesterday. Well, it was more like 2 days ago considering the time zone differences, but for what it’s worth, it was May 1 on the calendar! He must be finding the Finns (edited, thanks FinnFan!) very beautiful, with amazing eyes. Both Adam and Tommy are tweeting about that! He gave another amazing performance of Whattaya Want From Me? on Finland’s X-Factor and lent some valuable advice for reality show contestants. Gosh, he ought to be going down in some record book for giving the largest number of different performances of the same song. And they’re ALL beautiful! I can’t wait to see him in his new hat! I wonder what it looks like?!?
Enjoy these tweets and videos!

While surfing around the net this morning, I found this very appealing story. We’ve already seen Adam as a vampire over Halloween, so why not push for it? The main part of this article talks about Idol, but at the end, he asks for our help!

Here’s Adam putting the “bite” on Twilight director Katherine Hardwick. True Blood can’t be far behind!
And if that wasn’t enough - - -

The following article is by Lindzi Scharf of TV Guide Magazine.
~ Carol ~
Those who think Ryan Seacrest should change his send off from “Seacrest Out” to “Seacrest Out-of-it!”—back off! According to one famous American Idol alum, the host’s odd on-screen antics were the result of multi-tasking.
“He’s a hard worker,” Adam Lambert told TV Guide Magazine. “He’s got a really busy schedule. I’m sure every once in a while, he gets tired. I’m sure that’s the explanation.”
The season eight standout, who was on hand for last week’s questionable behavior, admitted he was just happy to be back. “It was really exciting,” he said. “It was like a homecoming seeing all the familiar faces and the crew and the judges. It was awesome!”
After his highly publicized Idol appearance, Lambert landed back in the spotlight on Saturday at the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles where he performed for an adoring crowd that included honorees Drew Barrymore, Wanda Sykes, and the cast of Glee.
“There will be sparkles and dancers!” he promised, before hitting the stage to perform Music Again and Fever off his debut album For Your Entertainment. “Visibility in the entertainment world is important for the gay and lesbian community. That’s our first line of progression. It’s just as important to show diversity within the gay and lesbian community. We’re getting there. We’re getting better. Baby steps.”
Meanwhile, the singer is ready for his close-up. “I’d love to be on True Blood,” he divulged. “I want to be a vampire rocker. I’m putting it out there through you. Hopefully it’ll get back to them.”
Get those calendars out and ready because Adams schedule is getting busier and busier. Here are some new dates that he will be performing in the UK. So if you like to keep track, here you go…
~~Adam Lambert has announced details of his first two headline UK gigs.
Last year’s American Idol runner-up will play a special show for HMV competition winners on April 26th at London’s Heaven. He will also appear at the same venue two days earlier when he makes a guest appearance at the G-A-Y club night, which has previously hosted performances from the likes of Madonna and Kylie Minogue.
The performances will mark the UK release of Adam’s debut album, For Your Entertainment, which boasts contributions from the likes of Lady GaGa, Pink, Muse’s Matthew Bellamy and former Darkness front man Justin Hawkins.

Just a head’s up: Adam’s beautiful VH1 Unplugged songs will start airing on TV beginning Friday, April 9, 11 PM Pacific. They will replay Saturday morning at 2:30 AM, and I’m sure multiple times over and over.
So, while there are some lucky Glambs seeing Adam LIVE in Canada Friday night, the rest of us will have to settle for this. Not too bad, in my opinion!
What’s that I hear? Is it the sound of all the DVRs/VHS machines being programmed?? LOL!!!
Check here for all the video versions.

Ahh, remember the good old days, when we had true quality contestants on American Idol??
Must be “election season.” Tee hee! Now you can cast your vote for your Favorite American Idol Contestant of All Time. Is there any question???? This started in January, but it’s still current.

UPDATED: APRIL 6, 2010
**Keep checking back for updates!!**
We love to see Adam achieve every award, honor and dominate every voting situation he’s in, right? Maybe we’re so fervent in response to last year’s American Idol voting debacle. The VH1 Top Twenty results have been a clear sign of our power. Well, here’s another poll that we can lend our voices to. It’s the 2010 TIME 100 Poll. You’ll have to scroll down to find Adam - he’s listed at #90. After you click on his name, be sure to move the slider over to 100 (or whatever your choice), and then enter the security code. You know, those ones where you can barely make out the squiggly words?
Adam may be appearing on the list in the #90 slot, but after voting, scroll down and you’ll see he’s currently (or at least when I wrote this!) ranked at #5, behind Lady Gaga, Yu-Na Kim, Rain and Conan O’Brien. Let’s do what we can to keep Adam front and center, on his quest for Enteratainment World Domination! Keep checking back to this posting. I’ll keep it updated with how far we’re moving him up the list. You can vote time after time! Go Glambs!!
Oh, and post this on your Facebook page, Twitter account, etc.!
As of April 6, 12:40 PM Pacific:
Rank Name Avg. Rating Total Votes
1 Lady Gaga 86 192743
2 Yu-Na Kim 91 146626
3 Rain 95 131729

There has been a book written by Kerry Kolsch, who claims that she has uncovered the evidence proving it was Adam Lambert who really won last season on American Idol. This is the same author who wrote the article I posted in “Adam Lambert Brings the “Cool” Back to Acoustic.” While I respect this author’s talent and really loved that article, I see no need for this book. It’s a 480-page, download-only book for almost $12 that details an alleged “Arkansas conspiracy” that was manufactured to give the Idol Season 8 title to Kris Allen.
Here’s part of the write-up on the book:
A singing contest became an Arkansas state endeavor involving; the local Chamber of Commerce, state politicians, churches, radio, television, newspapers, businesses, universities, banks, dancing cows and Toad Suck Queens. With the intensity of a hotly contested political election, the whole state took on Adam Lambert. The people in Kris’s home state were whipped into frenzy by a clever, professional PR team that was interweaving their own personal goals into a Kris Allen win and used a long list of sponsors to promote the cause.
Yes this sounds really juicy. And while I would have liked nothing better than for Adam to have won, as far as I’m concerned, the show is over and it’s time to move on. And if I could be so bold as to assume that I know what Adam’s thinking, he probably wants nothing to do with this. I’m sure he’d think it’s in bad tasste.
In my opinion, the only difference is it gave Kris more success than he would have had without the title. As much as I wanted Adam to wear the crown, it makes ABSOLUTELY no difference for him. Unlike the presidential election with the “hanging chads” where the Florida voting mess supposedly gave the presidency to Bush instead of Gore, it’s not like Kris got anything that Adam didn’t. Just look at the stats. Who has been heralded as the real winner by so many? Who has sold more records? Who is lighting the world on fire this very minute? Who was asked to do a move soundtrack song? Who is releasing their 3rd single? Who is already talking a summer tour as the headliner and who isn’t?
I see on Kris’ web site that he’s supporting Keith Urban on April 23 at The Joint/Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas and in July at a fair in California. He’s also playing at a theme park and supporting Daughtry in concert. He’s got about 7 dates for July, Aug and Sept. - hardly a tour!
I truly wish nothing but the best for Kris. But there’s no comparing the two - a clear case of apples and oranges.
If you’re still interested in checking out this book, here’s the link.

On last night’s Bravo TV’s Watch What Happens, host Andy Cohen mentioned none other than Adam Lambert.

Andy was giving his “Here’s What” comment and he seemed to take an issue with Adam’s sparkly pants! Here’s what he said: “Adam Lambert caused a stir in Tokyo this week when he performed wearing some pants that were very (big facial gesture) INFORMATIVE!” Then a picture similar to this one is shown, as Andy continues with “here’s, ooh there THEY are! Here’s what, when it comes to pants that I can’t believe a man wore in public, Adam gets the Silver, but Simon Van Kempen still gets the Gold.” Simon is then shown wearing a pair of red leather pants. And no! He’s not on stage, just at a dinner party!
For those of you who don’t watch the Real Housewives of New York, Simon is the husband of one of the women, who many have questions about whatelse, but his sexuality.
If you want to see this for yourself, you can catch it on one of the many replays this week of Bravo’s Watch What Happens. It plays at 3 minutes into the show.
I know this wasn’t very newsworthy, but any mention of Adam gets my attention!

Just in! Check out the news/entertainment broadcast on Japanese TV raving about Adam Lambert! They give him nothing but love, and are making me feel slightly embarrassed about the coverage he has received in his own country. Hopefully media in the USA will take a lesson from the rest of the world in diplomacy and appreciation of talent.
~ Carol Glamb #7 ~
Now that Adam’s in Tokyo, he’s giving the Japanese audiences another side of himself that we Americans can only hope to see in the future. The screaming from the Japanese are a sure sign that he’s going to be part of the international community for a long time. And if this is anime, I’m getting controllers from my son and joining in!
Adam’s living another one of his dreams when he takes to the stage with dancers, reminiscent of his days on the Zodiac Stage. Love it when he joins in with the choreography! While his concert performance at Fantasy Springs a few weeks ago was absolutely epic and mind blowing, it wasn’t quite like this! Here we see another layer of the rock god that we hope will come to our stages too. Message to Adam and his team, “Adam, the paying audiences in America can and want to handle this too!”

It has come to my attention that we need a little explanation of some nicknames that our boys have earned. Uncle Soy Sauce is a pet name for Monty, where as Dang Dang is none other than our Adam. The following is what I found:
ENJOY:
~~On the origin of “Uncle Soy Sauce”:
“Soy Sauce”here has a whole different meaning than a flavor. Several years back, when some TV station in mainland China was doing some sort of “voices from the street”, a man in shorts and flipflops walked by. The reporter stopped him to ask his opinion on a specific issue. Replied the man ” I’m only here to get some SOY SAUCE home. Like I care.” The netizens(Chinese web users) quickly picked that up because for the first time instead of giving a standardized answer on some matters we sort of can say I just don’t care. I just want to live my life. So leave me alone.
As it evolves with rising popularity, the phrase “just to get SOY SAUCE” has been used in all kinds of conversations from showing that you don’t care to that nothing happening around you can catch you off guard.
For Monte, we first used it when we noticed how calm he is no matter how much hot action Adam has got going on beside him. It’s almost like, OK, Adam is having major boy-on-boy or naughty or something else, but Monte would just keep his semi-poker face, all calm, stand there and rock that guitar.
In short,we love that Monte always stands so calmly to Adam and that’s why we nicknamed him “Uncle Soy Sauce” “
~~Dang Dang is a nickname the (Mainland) Chinese fans called Adam, whose name is Chinese character is: Ah Dang:
Here’s a further explanation of “Dang Dang”, from adam-lambert.org:
Posted on PF by jamafanta (THANK YOU, WAY TO GO!!)
“It is the character for “contemporary” or “modern” doubled. The trendiest kind of nickname for young Chinese people right now is one character doubled, which is what this is. It originates from the standard English to Chinese translation of “Adam”, which is Ya Dang. To make his nickname, his Chinese fans dropped the first character and doubled the second one.”
Noone online could really tell who started this whole thing but I thought you all might get a kick out of it. Thank you again to jamafanta… your comment was attached to the article I found.

Just when you thought you had nothing left to watch, here are some cutsie little tidbits of Adams interview with Nova via SHOUTAICHOU. I may be overly obsessed but I love to hear him talk ALMOST as much as I love to hear him sing. Wait, i’d be happy listening to him sleep so I am clearly not a good judge here, haha. These are fun to watch, I promise…

We have all known since before the night of the American Idol Finale, when Kris Allen was announced the winner of Season 8, that Simon Cowell felt Adam Lambert should have won the title. Simon has always said the goal of American Idol is to find an international star. This is all being proven now in Australia as Adam is knocking them over left and right. But I’ve always wanted to hear something directly from Simon stating specifically that Adam was it. And now, thanks to the rebirth of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, we have that!
On last night’s show (March 8, 2010), Simon was very jovial and goofy as he sat with Jay dodging questions about his upcoming wedding. Jay even brought Simon’s fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy out from backstage to sit with him for a few minutes. After Mezhgan left, they began talking about the current Season 9 line-up and Simon stated he likes Crystal Bowersox. And then it happened. The conversation turned to past winners, and being the true Adam Lambert supporter that he is, Jay stated “It seemed like the people that come in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, seem to shine and go on to produce more albums and do more things in show business than the #1 winners in the last few years. I mean Jennifer Hudson and of course Adam Lambert. . . ” and Jay continued. Simon answered with “. . . it becomes a popularity competition and that’s what I thought happened last year. I mean, I like the winner but I personally thought Adam should’ve won as an overall artist.”
I know it has made absolutely no difference in Adam’s huge success whether or not he was crowned the with the Idol title. And I’ve honestly let it go. But doesn’t it still feel good to hear what we all worked so hard for, directly from Simon’s mouth?
Watch and enjoy it for yourself. They begin talking about this with 1:05 left in the clip. Please be patient, it may take a few moments to load in.

Here he is again, our very own Adam Lambert!!
He is definitely getting his share of air time down under. In this interview he appears to be happy, well rested, and even playful. It seems as though they all enjoy having him there with them. Plus as an added bonus, they even dared to touch base on the now infamous CODPIECE!!!! Great interview guys…

There is a report that a new keyboardist has been found to replace Lisa Harriton. Lisa is a very accomplished, much-in-demand keyboardist/vocalist. She was formerly in Smashing Pumpkins, and is currently the keyboardist for Ke$sha. She is not turning her back on Adam. Nothing was set in stone with the members of Adam’s band. Some or all of the members were only signed to do the introductory promotional events when For Your Entertainment was released, and Lisa signed for other jobs at the conclusion of that contract. We wish her the best of success and we’ll be recognizing her when we see her performing with other top artists.
Camila Grey, from Uh Huh . . . Her? will be the new member of the band. I don’t know the terms of her new contract yet.
The following report is from Clubskirts’ Autostraddle.

Adam Lambert Snags UHH’s Camila Grey for Magical Gay Mystery Tour
This Sunday is extra Funday! Camila Grey is Adam Lambert’s new keyboardist, Gay Mardi Gras rocks Sydney, Harry Potter is going to save gays from suicide, Chris Rock schools you about healthcare, Sad Magazine will make you feel good, and recovery from anorexia is possible. Also, Lilo’s looking hawt.
CAMILA GREY/ADAM LAMBERT:Camila Grey is officially the luckiest lesbian in the world. She’s (as far as we know) dating Clea Duvall, she’s in a band with Our Lover Leisha Hailey (Uh Huh…Her?) and they make lovely music, she’s able to play songs beautifully despite her bangs always being in her eyes, she’s very pretty, and NOW SHE’S GONNA BE OUR BOYFRIEND ADAM LAMBERT’S KEYBOARDIST. Uh Huh Her broke the big news on Twitter:
She says to watch out for tour dates! I hope they find a way to synch up Camila’s druggie acid-dance of hippie darkness with Adam’s glammy sex-dance of screaming darkness, because that would be one hell of a show.
This seals the deal: Adam Lambert is officially a lesbian phenom. Also: this is going to be the gayest band since The Village People! I JK, I JK! I know there’ll be only 2-3 gays in the band, obvs they can’t hold a candle to The Villlage People. Monte Pittman is married & straight and drummer Longineu Parsons is straight & engaged.
I mean… we know that Tommy Joe Ratliff the bassist is like “straight” or whatever, but like, if Adam Lambert tongue-kissed me, I would probs become a gay man. That’s all I’m gonna say about that except this one more thing; Adam’s nickname for Tommy is “glitterbaby.” Just saying! Maybe Adam & Cam can go gay clubbing today and make us funny vlogs about it!
Longineu Parsons was actually the drummer for Yellowcard, and Lisa Harrington (formerly of The Smashing Pumpkins, currently keyboards for Ke$ha) must be who Camila is replacing? Shortly before this photo was taken she got her head caught in a fishing net so that might be why. No but seriously if she is keyboarding for Ke$ha she’s probs pretty busy right now.

Dear Glambs,
Adam gave the absolute most perfect, amazing, make-you-have-to-scream concert last night!!! I don’t want to take too long to write the proper review right now, because I want you to have the pictures RIGHT NOW!!!
I was in the Front Row, 3 seats from the far end of the row, Tommy-side. The row extended about 15 feet past the edge of the stage, and I could tell early that Adam wasn’t coming to our edge, so I jumped back to the second row, where all of a sudden there were empty seats, closer to the center portion of the stage.
Below are some epic pictures that we are still screaming about this morning, even though my voice is still hoarse! Then click here for access to the Photobucket account that holds them all. This is a Group Album, and we’re inviting you to add your pictures to it. Also in this album are shots from our Glambs pre-party at Mimi’s Cafe. More to come on that, but I wanted to get these pictures to you ASAP!!

My very best shot of the hottest guy on Earth!!!

The hottest duo!

Adam and his awesome band!

The concert at Fantasy Springs was EPIC!! It was Adam Lambert’s FIRST full concert, and I feel so privileged to have been there! He had the most amazing presence when he walked out onto the stage. He tried to hold his “Rock God” persona at the end of his opening number For Your Entertainment, but after listening to the thundering response from over 3,500 screaming fans, his full-on Adam smile broke through and we knew he was touched.
Here are the videos from the night!!

We’re sure all of the Glambs who are going to Fantasy Springs this weekend are looking forward to meeting up with each other. We certainly are looking forward to meeting each and every one of you. In fact, Sue, Lila and I are so excited about meeting all of you and seeing Adam Lambert in one of his first solo concerts that we can hardly sleep! If you’re going, post it here in the comment section. We’re encouraging you to use this format to make any plans, arrange for carpooling, etc. Sorry this is so late, but we’re beginners at this and we just thought of it!
Our Glamb Family pre-party is happening from 3 – 5 PM on Saturday, February 27th at Mimi’s Café, 79-765 Hwy 111 in La Quinta, just 5 ½ miles from Fantasy Springs Resort. We’ve had over 70 people say they’re coming, so it’s going to be a great celebration! Remember, there is NO COST for our party. Everyone will have the opportunity to order whatever they’d like, whether it’s a full meal, an appetizer, or just a drink from Mimi’s full menu. Each person is responsible for their own purchase. You don’t have to order anything, if you don’t want. We just wanted to give you the opportunity to meet up with each other, before the show gets into action. We’ll have name tags for everyone there so you’ll immediately spot some familiar friends. We know that many of you are also going to the Fantasy Springs pre-party. (We’re going too!) We hope you’ll keep your Glamb name tag on, and spread the word about this web site. If you have a lariat or pin-on nametag holder, the type you get from business conferences, please feel free to bring them. Our nametags are adhesive and may not transfer if you want to change clothes.
Again, we can’t wait to meet you!
Sincerely,
Carol, Lila & Sue

Thank you to Libraglam for bringing the following video to my attention. In light of everything negative that’s been posted lately, let’s take a moment to remember why we’re all here. This serves as a great reminder as to who Adam was before American Idol. If you didn’t see his “past,” now you know what is making his “present.”
Thank you to Skylarvon for making this beautiful piece. And special kudos for starting it with the perfect Muse song – Uprising!
Short and Sweet: Adam will be on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on March 2, 2010 – the second night it’s back on the air. If you’re going to be in the Los Angeles area, you can apply for free tickets at: http://www.thejaylenoshow.com/tickets/
Please let us know if you’ll be there. We want the Glambs representin’! Maybe we should all try to wear the same colored top? What color gets your vote?

Never let it be said that Adam doesn’t have the most intense fans. We all want the best for Adam, however some have crossed the line this time. Not minutes after tweeting to his fans about stopping the over-zealous calls/online requests for his songs, Adam’s management posted a message on the official site announcing his disqualification from the current Open House Party vote.
Posted at 2:43 PM PST from RCA:
Adam Disqualified from Open House Party Voting Just wanted to let you guys know that Adam was disqualified from this competition this week because the folks at Open House Party realized that some people were mass voting outside of their own cities. Please resist the temptation to do this for this competition, as well as when requesting Adam’s songs from radio stations, because it WILL harm Adam’s image with these businesses, not to mention RCA’s ability to promote him and “Whataya Want From Me.” Thanks.
RCA * Update: Multiple requests to Open House Party’s Twitter account - where no requests are accepted - was the primary culprit to this week’s disqualification (Adam will be eligible again next week).
Let’s take this as a lesson learned and remember it for future. If you want to hit refresh/resend, make sure it’s for a national contest!

More movement towards positivity? Let’s play a little game of ‘You know you are making it big in this world when..’
1. Saturday Night Live puts you in one of their skits! And even in the same scene as Robbert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. As a Christmas ornament, Mary.. Oh dear.
2. Your hairstyle is getting recognition of its own and runs in a contest for replacing Puck’s (from Glee) current hair-do! ‘The Lambert’, lol.

3. You get a (for most people outside of Japan) incomprehensible shout out in a Japanese newspaper! Feel free to try Babelfish if you want to know what exactly they wrote but as far as I decipered it was positive.

4. Random Chinese tv shows throw their random Chinese boybands at your feet only so you can give them some of your advice.. even though they obviously don’t really understand him.
5. The Chipmunks take on some of your songs and completely make them their own (as in, completely transform them):
6. Eminem gives you a shout-out in one of the songs (Elevator) of his upcoming album: “Sorry Lance, Mr. Lambert and Aiken ain’t gonna make it. They get so mad, when I call them both fake it’s!” Good thing Adam himself realizes that this means he has kind of made it.

7. Once you mention that a certain song is a favorite of yours, all comments on the video on youtube have something to do with you..

More thoughts? What other things clue us in on Adam’s success? :D
