Adam Lambert – Mentoring on American Idol This Sunday!

Adam Lambert has to be American Idol’s favorite past contestant. He’s been back on the show more times than I can count, beginning the year after he competed on Season 8. This includes as a performer, mentor and judge.

On the Air With Ryan Seacrest – screencap by Carol Hagey

I don’t know of many contestants who have made even one return visit, and fewer that have been back more than once. This season we saw Justin Guarini (season 1), Clay Aiken (season 2), Jordin Sparks (season 6), David Archuleta (season 7), Phillip Phillips (season 11), Catie Turner (season 16) and Noah Thompson (season 20) invited back during Hollywood Week to help contestants in their choice of confidence, songwriting and stage presence.

In the following interview with Ryan Seacrest, Adam discusses everything from being on Idol, returning to Idol and how he dealt with transitioning into his role as lead singer with Queen.

Love ya!
