Sorry Glamberts – it’s taken me a few days to recover from Adam Lambert’s concert on Friday night! Adam filled all the boxes: he looked great, he sounded great and he put on a great show!
Adam was his fantastic self onstage, but at OUTLOUD he was in a different element. I don’t know if it was being onstage for the first time in a while or maybe the home environment, in several aspects. But you could sense his thrill. He even gave us his usual adorable dorkiness when he had a misstep and made the best of it. (19:22 in the video!)
Below is a video from youko that captures most of the night. The many clips include scenes from the rehearsal, the show and the red carpet. The songs may jump around but the sound is consistent. He had a new troupe of dancers. Unfortunately Adam’s good buddy Terrence Spencer was missing from the stage because he’s performing in Hamilton in Singapore.
Adam surprised us with the news of AFTERS, his upcoming EP, being released on July 19, 2024. That night he sang 3 new songs – the recently released Wet Dream & Lube, plus a brand new one that I didn’t get the name of. At OUTLOUD it had a real heavy bass line. We’ll have to wait to see if it’s the same on the EP.
Here is the setlist from my memory. Let me know if I’ve forgotten anything:
Ghost Town, Wet Dream, Lube, Whataya Want From Me – HE MIX, If I Had You, Trespassing, Superpower, You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real), New Song – (missing title)
It’s great to have Adam home. Hopefully he’ll do some more appearances promoting AFTERS!
Love ya!

That was a fun night! Thanks Adam and Outloud organizers!
