Paula Abdul Glows Introducing Adam Lambert at TrevorLIVE!

Jane Lynch was honored at the benefit for the Trevor Project and the stars were out for the event on December 8, 2013 at the Hollywood Palladium. Kathy Griffin served as host and I’m sure her comments were priceless.

One of the major highlights of the evening came when Paula Abdul brought Adam Lambert onstage, with a very complimentary introduction. It’s obvious that they have remained close since their 2009 season on American Idol. And to make it full circle, Adam was accompanied on piano by American Idol’s Michael Orland while he sang a beautiful version of Whataya Want From Me.

Jane Lynch was being honored at the event and her GLEE cast didn’t waste a moment recalling some of her character Sue Sylvester’s best jabs at the McKinley characters. Here’s the detail on the event, complete with script from some very comical moments.

The Trevor Project provides crisis intervention services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth and on this one night, raised $1 million for the cause.

You can also view Adam in a nice close-up of his fashion for the night, in a Red Carpet interview here, followed by an appearance by Paula Abdul who reveals at the end her irritation with Adam dancing choreography barefoot!

Lila and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah (yes, I know it’s past!), Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Kwaanza and everything else you choose to celebrate! We hope to be seeing many of you next year when we meet up in support of the artist who brought us all together – Adam Lambert!

Love ya!
