Queen and Adam Lambert to Make Announcement at Madison Square Garden!

We’ve all heard the rumors about more concerts with Queen and Adam Lambert, and now it looks like we’re on the verge of hearing some facts! This is straight from Los Angeles’ KLOS radio. Already my heart is beating faster!! With the announcement coming from Madison Square Garden, it’s safe to bet at least one show will be in New York. Will it be a residency or will they go on to tour the country?

Over the past few years, Queen has performed with Adam Lambert on a number of occasions, both in the U.S. and overseas, but the band has never actually toured with the former American Idol finalist in the U.S. Now, though, it appears that some live shows might be in the works stateside.

Queen and Lambert have announced some sort of event for next Thursday morning at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden, with a promise of more details to follow. It’s safe to assume that this will serve as a kickoff for some kind of concert event or series.

  2. one good woman says

I hope they come to PA.

  3. Thanks for sharing this. This is first “real” thing I have read and I hope to read more news soon. Hope they come to Texas. What an epic performance they will put on wherever they go. Just hope I can get to see it in person. Wow – so excited!

  4. This is scary and exciting. I hope they do a nice tour to enough places so I can attend. I am so anxious to hear what they are doing. I wonder if they’ll sing at huge festivals, or do their own thing, or have an opening act or sing with Bowie, whatever. It will be epic for me.

  5. I’ll travel anywhere in the states to hear this group play, with Adam, of coarse. Please keep us posted. Will this date in New York be a concert ? If so, I’d be there !

  6. One of the many times I’d love to be bi-coastal!!!

  7. Brian May said late last year if they tour it would be about 40 or so dates in the US. He said that he and Roger Taylor could not handle 90 city dates anymore. this may be last major tour for Queen I won’t miss it, could be huge.

  8. I’m going for sure. I’ll probably go to Houston. That’s what I did for Adam’s Glam Nation tour. I met so many wonderful Glamberts. I hope I get to see y’all again.

  9. I always get crazy (and a little depressed) when I hear that Adam is going on tour, and with Queen no less. I know I won’t be able to go due to several factors, so I can’t help myself if I get a little jealous of those who do go. That certainly doesn’t mean, however, that I don’t want all of them to enjoy. I mean that with all my heart. I have seen Adam twice & am thankful for that. He even did ‘Whole Lotta Love’ at one of the concerts. I love him doing that song. Seeing him twice will more than likely will be it for me, but after all, some fans have never had the pleasure of seeing him at all. I’m thankful.
