Adam Lambert – Whole Lotta Love v. 2

As we get ready for tonight’s debut of American Idol, Season 18, let’s look back on one of Adam Lambert’s most defining moments on the show, the thrilling slow-burn version he gave the fans at his first concert, done at Fantasy Springs, and then the most recent version of that jaw-dropping performance!

We’re talking about none other than Whole Lotta Love. This is the Adam that Glamberts around the world fell in love with.

When Adam unleashed this version at Fantasy Springs, the crowd went WILD!

Fantasy Springs – February 27, 2010 – by lambosessed – almost 10 years from tonight! This was put together from 51 cuttings and from multiple videographers. I’ll never forget that night. I lost my voice for 3 days because of this song.

And just for good measure, here’s the glittery version right after Purple Haze, done in Los Angeles on December 16, 2010 at the then-Nokia Theatre by my friend Suz526. Talk about a sexy kitten!! (Adam and Suz!)

Life changing is probably an understatement!!! Adam is such a force of nature and although my life was fine up until seeing him on Idol, it sure changed in many ways after that.. I was at the Fantasy Springs show in 2010 (such a newbie then…), and among other things, met Carol & Lila for the first time, was at the Nokia Theater for this verrrryyyyy sexy version later in 2010 (incidentally sitting next to our good friend Suz526), and have been blown away by each and every version since… Thanks for posting this Carol! luv ya!

  2. Not sure if my post went through so I’m posting it again. Yesterday I watched the Fire Fight Australia Concert….It was the first, in it’s history, Queen, fronted by Adam, performed the bands iconic 1985 Live Aid set. It was fantastic. The concert raised $2 million.
