There is a lot of talk right now about NOT pre-ordering Adam Lambert’s The Original High from iTunes. It will lower Adam’s 1st day iTunes sales numbers. Wait until the actual day.
From the way I understand it, iTunes wipes all pre-sale numbers clear at midnight before the release day & only counts the sales made ON the actual release day. This is only for iTunes, not any other source. All pre-orders made from Warner Bros, Amazon, etc., will count toward first day sales. When you think about it, it doesn’t get it to you any sooner. You still can’t get it until the first day it’s available.

Love ya!

Thanks for the info Carol. I have waited this long…a little longer won’t hurt.
You really won’t be waiting any longer. You’ll get it at the same time – It just won’t be PRE-ordered. Thank goodness it’s only a few more days. We’ve waited almost 3 yrs for this! 🙂
Hmm. Very interesting!
I find this really hard to believe. Why would iTunes have a different policy or situation? It doesn’t make sense. But I won’t take any chances. I’ll either buy from Warner or Amazon or wait until it comes in the stores.
Thanks for the info Carol . It seems to me that a lot of changes are happening in the music business . In the UK are chart show on radio has changed so we can get international releases at the same time . Hoping we don’t wait to long in UK for Ghost town #Excited
