Brian May Credits Adam Lambert For Queen’s Current Success

In an article naming the top worldwide radio spins, Queen comes in 4th after Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and The Weeknd. That’s a mind-blowing achievement – something that defies all logic!

Brian and Adam from a May 2020 RTTNews article

From BANG Showbiz, “The data from Viberate, who analysed 24000 radio stations in 150 countries, placed Queen in fourth place with 2.9 million, followed by 2.8 million plays of Maroon 5.”

The article quotes both Roger Taylor and Brian May who previously had said he credits Adam Lambert for the band’s longevity. “Sometimes I stop playing because I think ‘what did he just do?’ He’s so free with his interpretations and it’s just spine-chilling. The sound he makes and way he interprets a song,” said May.

We went to over 30 of Adam’s concerts, often in the front row, and met him at meet and greets, and at after concert parties. We are huge fans, and Lynda had 8 inch heeled “Glam Boots” which Adam commented on and likely remembers us from the US tours. We were coast to coast following his tour. Velvet is absolutely awesome and his Super Power video spectacular.

I am working on a campaign for a Texas senatorial candidate who is likely to win. She is very pro- LGBT, for women’s reproductive rights, fighting for the rights of the common person, and against the power-elite corporate interests.

Could Adam be on a zoom call with Sara, or send a short video supporting Sara Stapleton Barrera as the first woman senator from her district. Check out her facebook page to see her platform. She would love to play the video endorsing Sara, and promoting Adam’s albums at her events. Even an email would be helpful.

    Thanks,
    Bob Bode
