To See Adam Lambert From Front Row – What Would You Do??

The idea of seeing Adam Lambert perform from the front row is something that’s crossed every fan’s mind, I’m sure! Except for the two remaining LA dates in December, the Glam Nation USA Tour is over. But we have future tours to think about! My girlfriend Ellen sent me the following video, and I got to thinking about all our strategies.

The General Admission ticket is a double-edged sword. Thankfully you don’t have to be the first person to get through on the crazy ticket-buying website in order to be front-row, center. That is if you can get through! How many of us have been in the situation of pressing the refresh button as the 10 AM hour approaches, and to finally get it live at 10:00:01, and type in your ticket info, squint to make out the LSD-simulation of a security code, only to find out that no seats are available??? But say you’ve got that Golden GA Ticket. How early do you need to arrive at the venue to wait in line all day, hoping to be among the first to get into the arena and get that coveted position?? You have to prepare to lose sleep, dress, make up, and glitter in line. Do you make your back up plans with enough knowledge of the floor situation? Do you say you’ll stand 10 rows back in the center, or would you rather be 3 rows back on the side? These are all things that drive us crazy, knowing we only have 2 seconds to make that decision, once we’re through the turnstiles, approaching the open floor space.

Some artists have Fan Club memberships that offer additional access to benefits such as VIP entrance, Meet and Greets, and merchandise offerings. (No word yet on any Meet and Greet for either of Adam’s two December Los Angeles concerts.) Thank you to my girlfriend Ellen for supplying me with this video on what a Bon Jovi fan will do to get up close and personal with their favorite. Just substitute “Adam” every time you hear Bon Jovi mentioned and you’ll get an idea of what how far Glam Fans are willing to go!!

About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

    This is sooo funny!

  2. Princessshakeitup says:

HEY! That was my shirt! That’s the green and white vertical striped shirt I wore to the Rockford GN concert! Maybe that’s why I didn’t make the front row….

  3. Tina Glamb#654 says:

Cute..Have ya’ll seen the video on YouTube that has Adam dancing from different tours to the song “Rude Boy” by Rhianna? He LOOKS SOOO HOOOTTTT!! That’s about the only song I like from her too, other than the one she done with Eminem, “Love The Way You Lie”. Check out the video of Adam…WHEW GOD, IT’S HOT!!!

This is soooo funny and unfortunatey sooooo true ! And this is why we’re all GLAMBROKE ! Can’t wait for the acoustic EP coming soon, and the GlamNation DVD ! After that we can start saving up for Adam’s Next Tour !!!!!!

  5. Well, I was front row for a GA concert in AZ where my friends started the line at 8 AM. Now since the concert was in August there was a great chance we would meet temps of up to 110 degrees until the 7 pm opening. However, fortune was on our side. When the venue finally opened we raced to the front center. There was NO moving from that spot even if one wanted. Nothing beats being a few feet from Adam!

Need advice. I’ve got GA tickets to Nokia on 12/16. when you are in line, can u take bathroom breaks – food breaks – what do you do?

  6. Oh Yvonne, the wonders of it all!!!!!! WE DID IT!!!!!…..front row center, at three amazing venues,SO close ADAMS glitter was flying all over us!!…let alone the eye contact!!!!!! How can anything EVER top that?!!!!! Have to take time to breath just to write it…….. we acheived the ultimate…..and life will never be the same again!!!

  7. Ha! Glamaus….Yes!!! WE DID IT !!!!

    Love, Yvonne (Australia)

  8. This is really cute. Except that no Adam fan I know has that flat affect and of course we’re not idiots!! I think this should be required watching for all newbies who have not gone through any of this ticket madness before. So selling out by one minute after tickets are on sale is normal? good to know…! Too late.I know many, with some means, don’t even bother with the craziness of ticketmasters and go straight to stubhub for the best they can afford. Just wrong. For the Houston concert, I was able to “fish” and watched “Best Available” go from front row left balcony, all the way to the back and then suddenly move to front row middle balcony. Something wrong with that logic! But now we are all much wiser and ready for Adam’s next tour. Oh, and shall we even get started on travel!!???

  9. The word on the meet & greets for the LA shows is that there are not going to be meet & greets, per notice from the fan club site. Alas….

  10. Haha did the whole general admission seats at the Madison in Cincinnati. Got there at 9am and sat on the sidewalk all day with my sister-in-law. I lost my Adam shoe running in. (I call them my Adam shoes because they are platforms as I am only 5 ft. 2in. ) Picked the sucker up and continued running for the front and GOT IT! It was a great night but general admission is not for me! I would have rather had an actual seat and not be sardined in with other peoples sweat dripping on me!!! But anything for Adam! Yes being a couple feet away from him was worth it. I am sooooo ready for True Hollywood Story and hopefully some tv appearances from our guy for the holidays!

  11. Judy Lushman says:

This video is so awesome! It is so much like Adam’s fans. I related to everything that he said and agreed with him. Now, that’s scary, hey?

  12. This video is not so funny because its true !!!!!and its sad the promoters i believe are taking advantage of the fans .THE MEMBERSHIP it would befair if it was one price only, in the middle of the price range,THE MEET AND GREET is only for the rich after you pay for your ticket another 1,000 dollers makes it expensive,THE TEESHIRTS are made in HONDORES when we are in a job crises here maybe half of them could made here that may bring the price down.I know ADAM wokks very hard!!!!!! and hes worth it,Getting back to the video WHO IS LAUGHING AT WHO,

  13. AllaboutAdam says:

Adam, front and center, at all costs. There’s nothing like it. Priceless.

  14. Ms.Starstruck for Adam says:

Are there still seats available for LA shows? Is anyone opening for him?
I have not been lucky enough to get a seat yet at any of his concerts.
    I am still watching his
America Idol days….. I was able to record just his songs he did on
America Idol. I must see him soon..

    • At ANY of his concerts? Wow, where do you live? Not all of his Glam Nation concerts have been sold out in .03 seconds.

  15. kat23mogan says:

My only gripe with the GA ticket is you have all these dedicated fans…who bought regular tickets…got there hours ahead of time…and should be the first to go in but then the VIP’s who do not get there that early show up and get let in first…seems really unfair. I know they paid extra for their tickets but please…are they anymore a great fan than us who can not afford the VIP ticket cost? I think not…I think somehow there needs to be a rule that if fans are there as my daughter and I were, six or more hours ahead of time…then they should go in first…I do like assigned seat tickets more though…GA means standing in the pit…although we were close to stage …I found it really uncomfortable and some people were really rude…i.e. pushing their way in front or beside you when they were not there originally or left their spot and tried to come back…big no no is GA…

  16. Soooo funny! And that’s nothing compared to what I’d do to be front row in an Adam concert! Just the thought makes my heart race!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Diane #610 says:

Loved this video! Would probably do all that & more to see Adam from the front row!!!

  18. That was great!!! I really a good laugh!

  19. That was stinkin’ hilarious!!! I think my new phrase is “I don’t care”! Thanks for sharing this!

  20. I had front row seats in Atlanta. I was mesmerized by Adam. He touched my hand and I about passed out.
Thank goodness my girlfriend was with me as she took pics because I didn’t want to take my eyes off of
    him. haha

  21. I was front row in Glasgow and it was memorable. There were about forty meet and greeters there ahead of us but I managed a spot to the stage right and got some cool pics.

  22. i just missed out on Adam’s Melbourne tour, so sad and have no idea when is his next tour here…. hopefully won’t be too long… i’ll pay whatever i can to get tix…. yea saving up money from now on, first step is to cut down shopping lol
