So, all of you living in New York, keep an eye on the upcoming event calendar and keep your fingers crossed that you are one of the 600 lucky fans who will get free tickets to this event! 
Even though Little Rock, Kris’ hometown, was leading for quite a while, most fans probably realized that neutral ground (ie New York) would be beneficial to all three idols.. And Adam already expressed his preference earlier this week, happily tweeting this little message to himself: 
And, he also announced the winner today on Ryan’s website! What is the eyeroll at 0:10 about though? Haha, very sweet. He seems genuinly happy that it is in New York, so let’s hope it is not merely going to be an Idol reunion but much more than that!

Adam said in a video interview with Jim Cantiello recently (at the Jingle Ball) that he didn’t care which venue the concert was at, and that he actually enjoyed performing in Little Rock this summer. He only made the Twitter comment about NY because it was obvious that they would win. Congrats to the anti-Little Rockers. I guess us Arkansans will have to wait until he comes to our ‘neck of the woods.’ It sucks to be an Adam fan here, because everyone assumes that we’re all Kris fans and hate Adam. I know tons of Adam fans here, and all the people I know that know Kris personally are actually very nice and never say anything bad about Adam. I can understand that ‘neutral’ turf is nice, but remember, Adam has both family and friends in NY, as opposed to the other two. Too bad Chicago didn’t come in strong!
Aaw, sorry Rebecca. You are right about people’s assumptions. Thanks for opening my eyes. But maybe this will help take a little of the sting out of it for New Yorkers after what ABC did re: NYRE. But NY and LA definitely get the lion’s share of Adam. We all have to be patient for the tour. Linda

I voted for New York when I saw Adam’s request. Boy I have relatives that live there. But i wll have to wait fro the spring concert. Hope I would love to join up with some of you on the West coast California. I am happy He got what he wanted.

glad for everyone in NYC but gotta say this.. the whole point of the contest was to bring it to somewhere they had not performed.. Stupid to go back to NYC… they should have chosen some towns and had people vote on those… I mean seriously, states that did not see the idol tour at all are STILL snubbed. I am just sayin cause it seems unfair knowing full well that it would have been NYC or LA. I saw four shows on the tour so I do not really care about my area, just the people that had no chance to see them cause they did not go to their areas. I think its BS.
Where is this concert going to be held…? do we know yet…Hopefully, Madison Square Garden…!!!!

I am from Arkansas also! And although alot of Kris fans are nice & dont bash Adam, alot of them do & some of them my relatives! Many so called “Christians” are so homophobic & judgmental! Kris is so sweet and not that way at all & really likes Adam, but alot of his friends at his church are as I said! I have a picture of police voting for Kris at that ATT sponsored finale watch, in uniform, on the city payroll no doubt! If that had been the same for Adam they would have made a big deal of it and called foul!!!! Some of the close minded people say that Adam cant sing at all & wont even watch anything with him on it! So much for those stupid people! They are missing out on a great talent who will be a history maker of such! ADAM ROCKS!

Debbie…..It is unfortunate that there are so many bigots in this world…. and as far as I am concerned those Christians who ‘hate’ people because of their differences are hypocrits and are not true Christians. As you say they are closed minded and it is their loss. They are stuck in a little box. They have no idea what love is !!!
