Q102 Interviews Adam Lambert

This is a great little question and answer session that takes place inside a church!! It seems very intimate, and they point to the people when he is answering their questions!! It was a cute interview so…

Adam Lambert made a special appearance for Q102 listeners at Audio Grotto in Newport, Kentucky, before his Madison Theatre performance. He signed autographs, took pics and answered all your questions

  1. Adam’s interview just re-confirmed his mass appeal. Not only is he a remarkable talent, but he is so articulate, genuine and interesting. He has the best personality – so positive, funny, thoughtful and intelligent. I learn something new from him and about him every time I see one of his wonderul interviews. So attractive inside and out. Interesting that they had this interview in a church. Regardless, he is at home wherever he is because he is cool, comfortable and confident in all circumstances. He is just so loveable, and one day I hope I have the opportunity to meet him too.

  2. DellaD Glamb #39 says:

Adam is such a showman, a gentleman, an articulate and thoughful man of all ages. I love when he says “Y U P” when asked if this is his first interview in a church!! He’s deeply spiritual so it seems very apropos that he would be interviewed in a church. Spiritual and religious do not necessarily go hand-in-hand for me. I am drawn to Adam’s spiritualism. No one seemed to catch on when he walked in and said “glamnation” as in “damnation” that many churches preach about. I feel like I”m rambling, but this interview was very revealing to me on many facets. Adam only deepens his appeal to me every time I see him, no matter where he is, no matter what he’s talking about. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe the phenomenon that is ADAM LAMBERT!!!

    • I loved the “Y U P ” too.
Adam has not been in this type of church because he is Jewish.
He has sung at Jewish services tho, remember “The Prayer” duet

  3. Kind of weird interview. Does anyone else think that DJ was kind of creepy? He called the names like they were 5 year olds. Even that is creepy. I loved Adam saying “damnation”. But they guy didn’t go with it. In fact, Adam didn’t seem to connect with him as he does with most interviewers. Maybe since he was on a stage, in a church with the lucky fans lined up in pews. And they must have been told to be quiet as church mice! Love Adam any where any time.

    • Glamourclamor says:

Quiet as church mice about sums it up. While Adam was typically Adam, I though the Interviewer and the whole church thing rather strange. I am certain that none of these fans felt comfortable really letting go and being fans. Thought the entire interview somewhat of an outer body experience.

  4. Lamchops50 says:

Fantastic interview with fresh questions from the audience. Adam always seems so comfortable and down to earth. Thanks for posting!

  5. I think he was the most boring and creepy!!!!! D J.Adam should have cracked a few jokes and let him know what cheeky means

  6. Och, you can’t help but love him. He’s such a lovable young man!
    Thanks for the video!

  7. sun-n-stars says:

I love Adam. Really good question and answer session. He is so special and so are his band members and dancers. Great group of people!

  8. Thanks for letting us in on this Interview, it was so nice. I am so glad that Adam has friends with him and that he is not lonely and having a good time while he is entertaining us all. Thanks!

  9. Somehow churches are also drawn to Adam , first it was the Westboro church of ig but now this is the church of smart ! I wonder if this church is sending out a message to counteract the Westboro one. Adam Lambert is singing at the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore , from church to Grand Prix , where will he be next ? How about the Forbidden City of China ? Actually I think Adam will be the first American singer to crack the China market of 1.5 billion people . If he succeeds, not only will he open a huge iron gate for other American singers to enter, he will be a billionaire in no time , standing next to Oprah and the Queen !

  10. What was that at the beginning when the interviewer seemed to forget his name??
This interview made me remember a line from the Rolling Stone interview which described Adam as
having a “relentlessly sunny disposition.” so true!

  11. Finally got around to watching this…. all I can say is this interviewer is such a dork! Adam was polite, charming and articulate, as usual. But this guy conducting the interview WAS boring and creepy and strange. That said, still love to hear Adam talk any time, any where. So thank you for posting!
