Hey Glambs! It’s Time to Party in Canada!! I’m sure you’re all counting down the days to Adam’s Canadian concerts, right? You’re going to have this now-confirmed world star right in front of you! I’m still out of breath when I think about the epic Fantasy Springs concert that Glamb website leaders Lila, Sue and I saw. We also had a great time at our own pre-concert party getting to meet over 40 of you who came to share your time with us, divulge Adam-stories in safety, eat and relax before the mind-blowing concert we were all attending later that evening. I’m really happy to reveal that a pre-party has been planned for you too!
Glambs party at Mimi’s Cafe before Fantasy Springs
One of the fabulous Glambs that Lila, Sue & I met at our pre-party was Maureen. And being a great Glamb, Maureen is carrying with our tradition and is organizing another pre-concert party, this time for Richmond’s River Rock concert. Here are the details:
When: April 9, 2010
Time: 5:30 PM
Where: Lulu’s Lounge, Main Floor at River Rock Casino, Richmond
Details: Meet up before the show with other Glambs and Adam fans at Lulu’s Lounge on the Main Floor. There is no cover charge for this “no host” party. You only pay for what you order. It will be an excellent chance to have dinner, drinks and lots of “Adam Chatter” before all the excitement starts. See here for menu.
In case anyone is still feeling like partying it up after the concert, the Incredibles who specialize in music from the 60s and 70s, will be playing at Lulu’s.

Only 17 more sleeps!! I’m so glad that there’s going to be a pre-party. I had just planned on showing up early, buying a drink and looking for anyone in leather and glitter, but this is much better. Looking forward to meeting all the local glambs and talking to people who “get it”. I only know one other person as obsessed as me (you know who you are) and if it weren’t for her, and this site, I might feel I need professional help (my family thinks I do). What an AMAZING night it’s going to me.

I’m super stoked about this pre-party. I am going to the concert solo, since I don’t have any Adam crazy friends. It will be great to get to know some of you before the show! Does anyone know when Adam is arriving at the airport? I am traveling to Vancouver on the morning of the 8th.

By the way, are there ever going to be any new GLAMB NUMBERS assigned!? I will be in the States while Adam is in Canada so a little closer to him than St Kitts. My birthday is coming up April 13th. A GREAT birthday present would be to see Adam live but a good birthday present would also be finally getting my Glamb #. I think I will be 601!? COME ON! How about a number for the Princess’s birthday present!? [unless someone wants to give up the Sweaty Ellen/Adam Undies!]

Have fun. I had a really wonderful time at Adam’s concert at Fantasy Springs. I met some of his great fans from Florida and Salt Lake City who flew in just for his concert. We all were thrilled seeing him perform live. I felt (**) years younger- Adam has great energy. He genuinely does put on a terrific show, and everything sounds sooooo good live. He’s so sweet and it comes across how beautiful he is in every way.I want to go see him again. You’ll have a fantastic time.
Does anyone going to the Coquitlam BC show know if there will be a meet & greet with Adam before the concert? If so, how early? I really want to meet Adam & give him a very special gift. I was (& still am) a Bowie fan and back when I was a teenager in the 70′s I purchased a Bowie belt buckle. It’s “Halloween Jack” from the Diamond Dogs era. I really want to give it to Adam & see his face light up. I can think of no better gift for the NEW king of GLAM! If anyone has any info on how I can get this to him in person please write to me! I want to give him just a smidgeon of the happiness he has brought to me. The buckle is on a newer black leather belt and I would be absolutely honored if he wears it. Thanks fellow Glambs…see you in Canada!

A Meet and Greet was part of the ticketmaster auction tickets, so I doubt there will be one for the rest of us. Try tweeting Adam at @adamlambert. Sometimes he replies and I think he probably tries to read most of the tweets. Maybe put “Special Bowie Gift for You” in Capitals to catch his attention as he probably gets thousands of tweets a day. A big hug to Sue and others who are so generous with your time in all the postings. Oh, oh, just saw the theatre photo. I walk with a cane because of bad knees, so steps are sometimes a challenge. For Adam, nothing is impossible! Gotta go watch WLOL video from Fantasy Springs again before bedtime. Hope he does the same version at RR. Simply fabulous!

Excited to be going to this concert and thanks to Maureen for setting up the pre-party. Just a word of advice to those who are going and are contemplating wearing the fabulous “stripper heels” that Adam loves to mention in his songs. NO ONE sits down for Adam’s performances (and we all know that), so unless you are used to wearing 4 inch (or more) spike heels, and before you invest in the first ones you have ever owned (ahem…wonder who was silly enough to do that???) and put them on your little size 6 feet, think very carefully and try them out before you go!!. You’d think I’d have the good sense(at my age and all) to do that but I guess “good sense” sort of flies out the window when it comes to seeing Adam in person. Still getting the feeling back in a couple of my toes and its been a month since the Fantasy Springs concert. It was worth every numb toe, of course, but will be wearing something a little less “stripper-ly” for this one. I’m saving those gorgeous super-sexy shoes for going out to dinner or other mostly sit-down activities (or perhaps those behind closed doors activities). Hope to see many of you there (in my fabulous non-stripper heels).
Going to see Adam at the Red Robinson in Coquitlam, BC on April 8 which happens to be my birthday. We’ll bring the video cam for sure. Glad to see he has you devoted fans. I was sold when I saw his first audition on Idol and raved about him every day thereafter. Hoping to get an autograph and really hopeing he will do Mad World.
