Nile Rodgers is extremely generous, sharing his professional life and work process with his fans on his blog. This includes his time spent in the studio with Adam Lambert, while working on Shady, a track from Adam’s soon-to-be released album, Trespassing written by Adam and Sam Sparro.
Nile has released more videos from his October studio time with Adam. I love Adam’s skin-tight leopard pants – totally ROCK STAR! Nile’s blog says the videos will only be up for a day, so I’ve included them all here.
Have you listened to any of the streaming of Trespassing yet? I haven’t, so I’m still waiting to hear the full version of Shady. But from these videos, it sounds like it’s going to a whole new musical place for Adam. I can’t wait to hear it live and see Adam go to his funky place. Also, to watch guitarist Tommy Joe Ratliffe spend some time at the funk saloon! What do you all think of Shady?

Does anyone know anything about Adam being in Chicago at Fantabuloso on Tuesday, May 15th?
Correction: It is Friday, May 18th!
Yes!!!!! I am going on Friday the 18th! The Fantabuloso concert is at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont,and I have 25th row on the main floor! I am soooo excited! There will be other artists as well….wish it was all Adam,but I will take what I can get of him! To long since the Glamnation tour! The concert is a summer concert for Kiss FM.Maybe know Ryan Seacrest will play his music more!I will let everyone know how it was when i get back!
Wish i was going to the concert. It’s too hard to get away and travel to a show. One of these days I will be going I hope. Wish I could go to England.
Have listened to a few of them and so far I LOVE Shady and Trespassing. Thanks Carol so much for posting these videos. It is so interesting to watch how it was made with Nile Rodgers and how they worked together to get it perfect and how much a legend like Nile Rodgers loves Adam’s work as we all already do. Wow. Adam looks so adorable here in those leopard leggings matched with those black boots. I had a moment when he lifted his left leg regally, like some royalty and rest it on top his right thigh, simultaneously with some hand actions. Quite mouth-watering here. Adam, you’re stirring up my hormones again with those great thighs. Oh- la-la. Ha-ha-ha!!!
Then my gosh, another big moment again when Adam threw his head back with that burst of laughter. My gosh, I wish to bottle this moment, and lather it all over my body like some lotion. Adam, I so miss you my baby. Memories of that moment when he threw back his head in that burst of laughter, came flooding, when Simon told him that his singing, ” was not good, but was GREAT !!
Oh, baby, you gave it to me, like some potion on a Mother’s Day.
Does anyone know about the outdoor concert at the Gaylord National Resort on 5/27? It is a package that includes a hotel room for the night. I paid for it immediately but haven’t seen anyone posting about it. I got an email yesterday saying my special edition Trespassing has been shipped. Wow! I can’t wait!
I love seeing Adam so happy. Does anyone ever work with him that doesn”t love him..tight leopard pants and all!! I also really liked hearing Nile Rodgers play. He is so nice to help Adam. I can hardy wait to get my copies.. will be even better after seeing Nile playing to Shady
