Music Again

20th Century Boy

  1. Adam’s voice was crystal clear and exquisite. He looked like a beautiful Rock God.He commanded the stage. It was a fun and fabulous performance. Adam doesn’t present a concert. He is an event. He is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. I feel blessed to have been a part of the evenr.

  2. Adamisamazing says:

I think Adam has the best voice in music today. Aside from his many attributes, his vocals are out of this world.

  3. Glamourclamor says:

Agree and agree! Besides being the sexiest man alive. Loved his playfulness with Tommy during 20th Century Boy, too cute. Anyone else notice how sexy Adam is without all the crouch grabbing done in music today. Even the female singers feel the need to grab their crouch–totally stupid. Think it comes from the rappers. If you got the right moves, and Adam has all the right moves, way more sexier. Just sayin!

  4. carmen #395 says:

Adam just emits sex without having to make any gestures. He is just so wonderful. Does anyone know where I could send a self addressed stamped envelope to request an autographed picture of Adam? I’d also like him to put my name on it. Or is that not appropriate? He and Tommy are soooo cute together. Love them both. Love them all.

Since that Cohasset venue was just horrible, for both Adam and me, the concert at the Palace in Albany was everything I had dreamed of and much more. Even though I was raised about an hour from Albany, I never had been to the Palace Theater before. It is a beautiful old movie theater. You enter a lobby with gorgeous plush carpets, carpeted stairs with old fashioned railings and gold decorating the walls and ceilings. When we arrived on the second floor, we were surprised to see it was only the bathroom level. Little tables sat by the railings so you could have a drink and look down on the people in the lobby. We went up another short stairway and into the front balcony.
We sat in the 2nd row of the balcony. About 20 people were dancing in the balcony before the show started and the whole thing shook-it was a little unnerving. I don’t thin these old buildings were made for hundreds of dancing people. When Adam began his show a couple of young people in the front row started to get up to dance. A lady near me told them to sit down and they did. I believe the whole downstairs was standing through the concert, but the balcony sat and everyone could see.
Adam’s show was simply amazing. This was the most extraordinary experience of my life. His mom was there and you will notice in one song, he waved, said hi, and blew her a kiss-so sweet. People have told you many times before that you NEED to see him live. They are so right. I felt like he was singing just for me. He danced, he smiled, and he sang. The audience was polite and pretty much let him finish a song, before they shouted their pleasure. His show was tight and impeccably organized. It looked like Adam was having a good time, too. I think that day off rejuvinated his spirit. I love everything about Adam and I think I am a better person for having him in my life.
Thank you Suz526 for the fabulous videos. I have downloaded them all to my desktop, so I can now relive that concert whenever I choose.

The concert at the Palace was amazing. It was the last of our 4 concerts for this GN Tour and I’m glad it turned out to be the best of the 4 we went to. We barely made there in time, having driven up from points south and making a major GPS blunder right in Albany. I kept reassuring us that worst case, we’d miss Allison and Orianthi (even tho’ we love them too) but when we got there, it was the break after Allison and we found out that HE was next!! Mon Dieu! We could have missed him!!

Adam was SO engaged and in tune with the crowd vibe and danced up a storm, sporting his new (for us) shaved “do”. We had the best seats yet out of all the concerts we’ve gone to, and I swear, my feet haven’t landed on the ground yet. This man!! How can he get better and better and better and hunkier and sexier each time we see him? It’s not possibel!!!…but it happens!! The audience was just great at this show — terrific energy, dancing in the aisles even before he came out on stage — super mix of young and old, male and female, straight and gay. love, Love, LOVE this man…..just can’t get enough of him!!!

I didn’t detect any hoarseness that night (as some people commented about the Albany interview) but he was definitely singing in a bit higher register and I thought it might be that he was fighting some laryngitis or something. But, he pushed past it beautifully, as Adam the consumate performer always does.

By the way, I’m starting a Glambs Anonymous chapter in the NY Tri-State area. Please let me know if you want to participate. The mission will be to help Glambs get through the winter and deal with the Adam Addiction after the GN Tour and before he emerges with something new in 2011 and/or to dig out of the financial impact of attending so many GN concerts this year. 😉 If I don’t do this, I’m going to end up in a rehab, I swear!! I miss him already!! Adaaaammmmmmmmmmmm……….

    • You know there must have been a similar vibration coming from you all the way to Indiana! In the wee hours of the morning- today-two of us were on the phone -until our batteries died- talking about Adam and of doing the same thing in our area -also a tri-state region!

WoW! What a ripple effect! Please let us know here if you do it for real…maybe we could start something on a national/international level! I understand that in Texas they already do this!!!! Please email me:

Loved your review! The Adam Effect is a phenomenon we are all “suffering” from with paroxysms of joyful “gasms”. AHHHhhhhhhhh….I feel another one coming onnnnnnnnnnnnnn Oh-ouuu

      • Cris R Glamb #659 says:

Hmmm….I was only kidding when I wrote it — just feeling the pain of withdrawal, and wondering how many others are out there in the same situation: experiencing a primal need and lust going unsatisfied now that the tour is winding down, a stack of credit card bills from all the traveling and tickets to GN concerts and shopping for glammy clothes and jewelry — but now you have me wondering if we should really do this. The last thing I want to do is compete in any way with this wonderful site, as it’s the home and daily sustenance for so many needy Glambs. Maybe we can do something in conjunction with this site — have an special ongoing thread just for helping one another through this tough time, giving each other creative ideas for how to deal with the long months ahead. OK…I’ll email you!!

P.S. Sorry, that should have been “possible”……I’m rushing here. And, I forgot to say, The Palace Theater is just spectacular — what a gorgeous old theater! It was difficult to turn my eyes away from Adam but I did manage a few glance up at that amazing ceiling.

  8. AdoringAdam says:

I also attended the Glamnation Tour at the Palace. Adam was definitely at his best. We waited outside before and after the show to see Adam. Saw him going in to the theatre (He waved) and after. We were able to get his autograph and a great video of him signing. Was anyone from this blog waiting too?
