Ya know kids…last week was a wake up. Methinks the tweens and teens who were voting for Matt ALL went over to Kris and the other underdogs. While Adam has a strong fan base I don't know how many new voters he's getting. Meanwhile the others who are left, are getting more and more votes each time one of them is eliminated. That could pose a real problem when Danny or Kris is eliminated. I really hope Allison's voters go over to Adam because he made her look so good in the duet (Of course, she's good on her own but people don't warm up to her). He made her shine. I'm really hoping her fans shift to him. The point is, we cannot fall asleep on the phone. We have to vote vote vote. Remember Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson…clear winners who got blindsided (Of course, they did better by getting dumped than they would have had they won because they were free of contractual obligations after the tour was over)…BUT we want it ALL for Adam. There's been NO ONE like him in the history of Idol and likely there never will be a gain. He's one in a billion. Nothing is guaranteed but death and taxes so VOTE and get everyone you know to VOTE, too. (Prayers wouldn't hurt either!) WE CAN DO THIS!!!!! ><>

I am an educator and national consultant currently working on a paper about how to help educators ensure that all students can reach their highest potential and achieve at the same level as the "highest achievers".  I am also a long time fan of American Idol.  And, I am a "senior citizen".  I have never written to a blog before.  This is a first for me.  Adam Lambert is an outstanding model of how students can achieve at their highest levels with the proper support of adults.  I love him, what he stands for and who he is as a person - let alone his amazing talent!!  I want to use him in my paper as an example of a young man who has gone far beyond the wildest expectations - because of "high expectations" provided by important adults in his life.  His story is motivational and inspiring.  Who WERE the adults that made a difference in his life - and, how did they do it?  I want to let others know how to do the same for other students and young people.
