STEP 1: EVERYONE NEEDS TO DOWNLOAD GIZMO BY SUNDAY. ON SUNDAY WE ARE ALL GOING TO TEST IT.
It's safe for your computer (CNET editors give it a 4 star rating). It's free for toll-free numbers like Adam's voting numbers and it allows for an extra 3 hours of voting. We'll be posting instructions on how to use Gizmo and a Gizmo FAQ post soon, but in the meantime, we're keeping it simple: just download Gizmo.
DOWNLOAD GIZMO HERE: http://gizmo5.com/pc/
** This works for both US and International fans. All of you guys on the Phillipines, Brazil, Europe and Asia that are dying to vote, this is your chance. **
Comment below when you've downloaded it. Adam's future depends on you doing this.
AGAIN - All your questions will be answered soon, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO RIGHT NOW IS DOWNLOAD THE PROGRAM - IT'S FREE.

Hi, I am writing from the UK and have downloaded Gizmo. I tried the test call option
but got message that I did not have audio input! Not sure what I have to do to
make a call. I never used this type of software before, never done MSN etc so am a
bit lost really. But I so want to support the lovely Adam to victory, even if means
getting up in middle of night!!! Any help welcome. And well done to the fansite
organisers. It is wicked that so many LambertLovers prepared to give their
skills and time to such a worthy cause x

All downloaded in Dartmouth Nova Scotia and ready to vote. Bring on Step 2. Can someone please tell me when I am supposed to start voting on Tuesday evening here in Nova Scotia? I am starting to believe that we might pull this off! Gokey fans will vote for Kris. It is my feeling that Adam won't win without "outside" help.
So, here it is 2:28 p.m. in Nova Scotia and still no further instructions on Gizmo5.

Hi. I tried to download gizmo and I'm not sure it worked. I just ended up saving what looks like an .exe file. Any suggestions? Does gizmo work on the phone too or is the computer better? I'm already planning to use 2 cells (dialing) and 2 landlines (dialing). Also probably one AT&T phone for texting.

I have somehow downloaded Gizmo5. Initially it looked like it was only an .exe file even though it looked I had received a confirmation email that I had logged on to it properly! And after initially haing problems with working out what to plug in to bypass the audio input not found message, I tried my normal headphones in a different socket and then Gizmo worked!! I have already tried the number for Idol and improvised the end number with a 1 or 2. Just got a busy signal. Tried it with an X at the end as verbatim the email and got saucy chatline so at least I know it works. Sorry this is not more helpful to those struggling with Gizmo, but persevere, and hopefully there will be more advice from the site shortly. I will be calling from the UK in the early hours of Wednesday. I know the show airs 7/8 in the USA and this is 1pm here, does anyone know what time I should start voting? Help please. Adam must WIN and am happy to stay up the night to vote.

You need speakers for this to work! (Input and Output devices)
To those of you who asked: What is happening is: the SIP numbers doesn't show up. Those 999, 888 numbers are not the SIP (those are home no., mobile no. etc). It's ok, because the SIP doesn't always show up. It will though, once they start voting or sometimes if they exit the program and enter again. They should all make a test call to another toll-free number and see if it works. They can even use one of AI old numbers and if they get a busy signal, they're ok.
You don't have to fill in/edit your profiles in order to vote!
The SIP number, in 99% of the cases is 747 (California area code).
When they register their account, they should also pick a California area code or zip (depending on what they ask).
PS Considering that in the past three weeks, I could barely use G 5 to vote (or "I Call") because it was very slow, hitting dead air etc. I now use VBuzzer. It's working wonderfully. (this is for the West Coast voting). Make two accounts, one for East Coast and one for West Coast. Some people said it worked on the East Coast also..
NOW, THE VOTING HOURS FOR THE WEST COAST ARE BETWEEN Tue 9PM PST - Wed 1AM PST. Find out what time zone YOU are (for ex: I'm from Romania, GMT+3 is MY time zone. After converting Tue 9PM PST to GMT+3 I found out I can vote Wed between 7-11am) and convert PST hours to YOUR time zone using an online time converter like http://www.timezoneconverter.com
THE VOTING ON THE EAST COAST: Tue 9PM EST - Wed 1AM EST.
Live show is airing Tue 8PM EST , the results show is Wed 8PM PST (two hours show). To find out what time is that for you, again, use the converter. It's really simple once you get the hang of it.
