Simon's comment was absolutely unfair, trying to link back 'theatrics' again when he gave him a standing ovation in the past for this same performance. This was the perfect song choice because it still appeals to voters, especially new voters or undecided voters.

Personally, I have issues listening to this song in the past because the lyrics are so powerful that really makes you think about the people who run in circles in life, going nowhere, no goals, no ambition, their life is just a constant useless routine… and it is just… a very sad but true story.

The intro on this video is definitely worth seeing, with Adam's parents telling how the story of how he was a 'loud' baby.
