Exclusive Video of Adam Lambert right before and after his Audition

If you ever wanted to get more ‘ADAM’ throughout his audition in San Francisco here is some exlusive footage and interview right before and after he makes it to Hollywood. Did you know he works out?

Towards the end the guy who interviewed him said he has this ‘prescence’ in real life, I thought that was cool for him to talk about that.

AT&T May Have Swayed Idol Outcome to Favor Kris AllenUs Magazine – 1 hour, 49 minutes ago

Adam Lambert and Kris Allen arrive at the American Idol Season 8 Grand Finale held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on May 20, 2009 in Los Angeles, CA.
Jason Merritt/Getty ImagesUs Magazine The New York Times is reporting that American Idol’s Kris Allen may have had a little help from AT&T, one of the Fox show’s biggest corporate sponsors, in winning this year.

According to the Times, AT&T provided phones for free text-messaging services at two Allen parties in Arkansas on the night of the finals. Citing sources, The Times reports that AT&T reps showed party-goers how to “power text” — cast 10 votes at the touch of a button — which violates show rules.

Power texts, according to the Times, “have an exponentially greater effect on voting than do single text messages or calls to the shows toll-free phone lines.”

No similar efforts appear to have been made to provide free texting services to Adam Lambert fans.

Angry Lambert supporters are now claiming in online chat boards that the competition’s voting was rigged.

While Fox has yet to comment, AT&T issued the following statement: “In Arkansas, we were invited to attend the local watch parties organized by the community. A few local employees brought a small number of demo phones with them and provided texting tutorials to those who were interested.”

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette first reported on the possible skewed voting last week.

      CONSPIRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • AI’s sponsor giving professional lessons on “how to” power text along with “free” text-messaging service for one selective finalist ‘s fans…interesting…and oh so wrong! Would not want to see the title taken away from Kris because he did no wrong and I wouldn’t want Adam to have to share the title…but would LOVE to hear AI amit that the voting was not accurate and that yes indeed Adam did get the most votes…….and let Adam decide how AI should handle the situation…

        • After re-thinking the “free” texting At&t thing….it’s the same as the “holy rollers” votes …..we just have to let go of it and enjoy Adam now….we can’t feed into AI’s bullshit anymore….

          • AdamAddict says:

If that’s true,I hope whoever in it will be disturb & haunt by strange phone call and text messages every night! LOL!!
Whatever they do to Kris, they should do the same for Adam too, then it will fair and square fight!

            • AdamAddict says:

This is like machine gun fight with a gun that can only fire one at the time and than you have to fill the bullet again! But whatever, can you see how happy and popular Adam now? Win or didn’t not win can not stop him from become a huge superstar.Everybody talks about he’s the one who should win or why he didn’t not win. They didn’t say why Kris won?
So,let’s move forward,my friends. Whoever did bad things to our Adam, just pray they can sleep well at night…or not!!

READ BELOW…I KNOW WE HAVE ALL MOVED ON AS ADAM AS RUNNER-UP, BUT EVIDENCE KEEPS EMERGING ABOUT ARKANSAS AND AT & T’ S SHENNANIGANS…HOW DID 2.8 MILLION GET 38 MILLION VOTES ? MORE MISSING PIECES COMING TOGETHER.
NO ONE DID THIS IN SAN DIEGO, AT & T DID NOT HOST PARTIES…

AT&T May Have Swayed ‘Idol’ Results
    By EDWARD WYATT
LOS ANGELES — AT&T, one of the biggest corporate sponsors of “American Idol,” might have influenced the outcome of this year’s competition by providing phones for free text-messaging services and lessons in casting blocks of votes at LARGE parties organized by fans of Kris Allen, the Arkansas singer who was the winner of the show last week.

Representatives of AT&T, whose mobile phone network is the only one that can be used to cast “American Idol” votes via text message, provided the free text-messaging services at two parties in Arkansas after the final performance episode of “American Idol” last week, according to the company and people at the events.

There appear to have been no similar efforts to provide free texting services to supporters of Adam Lambert, who finished as the runner-up to Mr. Allen.

Since then, angry supporters of Mr. Lambert have flooded online chat boards with messages claiming irregularities in the competition’s voting.

Officials of Fox Broadcasting declined to discuss the situation. In a statement issued Tuesday, a spokesman for AT&T said, “In Arkansas, we were invited to attend the local watch parties organized by the community. A few local employees brought a small number of demo phones with them and provided texting tutorials to those who were interested.”

Details of the voting support were first reported last week in an article in The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Representatives of AT&T helped fans of Mr. Allen at the two Arkansas events by providing instructions on how to send 10 or more text messages at the press of a single button, known as power texts. Power texts have an exponentially greater effect on voting than do single text messages or calls to the show’s toll-free phone lines. The efforts appear to run afoul of “American Idol” voting rules in two ways. The show broadcasts an on-screen statement at the end of each episode warning that blocks of votes cast using “technical enhancements” that unfairly influence the outcome of voting can be thrown out.

And the show regularly states that text voting is open only to AT&T subscribers and is subject to normal rates.

  3. As I have said before on other blogging sites…is that the right term?….it should be one vote or text per phone line in order for it to be a fair contest.

This latest series of events really cheapens the voting process and makes me feel like I wasted my time voting for Adam the old-fashioned way.

I have my company cell phones through AT&T and I plan on letting them know what I think of their practices.

I am also among the many who will not be watching AI next season because the whole “America Votes” is just a money making sham. They should rename it…. American Dial Tone…or maybe ATT… Lowering the Bar….

  4. amuto143 says:

Even though i’m not from America but i totally agree with cef , it should be 1 vote or text per phone. American idol needs to overhaul it’s voting system!!

Anyway, i’m trying to follow Adam’s lead and move on (still trying)…….

Thank you so much for this site, this is where i go for my daily dose of Adam. I just hope he can make an album soon and have it available ASAP in the Philippines.

  5. I won’t be watching American Idol next year either. This is so unfair! Att should be totally ashamed. I really think this will hurt Chris Allen’s career in the long run. His win will always be questionable.

  6. I will watch, but I won’t vote. The whole technology thing taking over just negates my little phone call and I felt that my vote did not count. I couldn’t even get through, so it was totally frustrating anyway. People who can do thousands of votes cheapens the process and makes the numbers…like over a 100 million votes, totally meaningless. I have no idea what could be done, but the current situation is sad. I’m not saying that Kris is not an artist deserving of recognition or the title. I’m just saying one gets the feeling the voting process is contaminated at this point and the average person has no real say in the outcome. The computer and technology “geeks” have spoiled that.

  7. Adam rocks. He is intelligent, articulate, positive and one heck of a performer. He is easy on the eyes and always gives 100 percent for the fans. I know he will continue to amaze and entertain. I am so happy that I am here to enjoy his talents. I feel great after watching his performances and listening to his voice. On top of all of that, he seems to be such a caring, down to earth guy that you could just sit down and talk to anytime. What a beautiful human being he is.

  8. In what world could AT&T not see their attendance (and “tutorials”) at parties for one contestant as a conflict of interest??!! I mean c’mon… what kinda idiots work for AT&T out in AK?

At the very least, the staff who attended (and the managers who approved it) should be fired and at best, AT&T should be dropped as the sponsor. I bet Verizon or whatever other carriers you have over there in the USA would be up for the task.

    • AdamAdmirer says:

CAN YOU BELIEVE AMERICA FOUND A WAY TO CORRUPT A SINGING CONTEST!!!

I WANNA SEE KRIS ON THE NEXT AT&T AD CAMPAIGN.

EVERYONE SHOULD BOYCOTT AT&T, THERE ARE MANY OTHER CARRIERS AND WE SHOULDN’T SUPPORT SUCH BEHAVIOR.

  9. Well, what’s done cannot be undone. For me, I’ve moved on. No more AI for me for at least 3 years!!! My focus now will only be on Adam – I’m not from USA, so I wasn’t able to show my support for Adam by voting, but now is the chance to show America what I think of their votes (yuck!) – I’m buying every single album of Adam’s. Adam may not be the American idol season 8, BUT he’s definitely going to be the next superstar, the next World idol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. thnx amazing vid i loved it .. god anything u have 4 adam just bring it on .. i just want to see him all the time .. he is amazing human being and a great artist .. i can’t wait to see what next with him 🙂

  11. Thanks for the info regarding AT&T. I will never use their services. It was a “bought” win, and as such, will turn viewers, like myself, away from AI. As one poster noted, conflict of interest to be sure. AI should look for a new sponsor and drop AT&T.

  12. irish1139 says:

Why aren’t we voting for the contestant we don’t want instead of the contestant we do want.

  13. Lambert Lover says:

It was so great to see Adam again on Regis & Kelly this morning, I’ve missed him! He looked fantasic as usual, and was all smiles, gave a great interview about his musical background and experience. His voice sounded amazing singing “Mad World”! I wish I was Kelly, she got to hug him twice!!

The day before Chris – (what his last name again?) was on the show. Shuffled out in his ripped jeans and shrugged shoulders, and when asked what he did before idol said “uhhh, I was trying to be a student, but failed” he basically said he auditioned for idol because he had nothing better to do. Then he sang an off-tune, squeaky version of “No Boundries”.

    • AdamAdmirer says:

THIS IS A GREAT COMMENT, NOT TOO MANY SEEM TO BE NOTICING THAT CHRIS WHATEVER IS A COMPLETE LOSER, NO MATTER HOW MANY CHEATING VOTES HE RECEIVED.

WHEN I HEARD WHAT HE SAID ABOUT BEING A STUDENT WASN’T HIS THING AND HE IS NOT GOING BACK TO FINISH SCHOOL, I FELT SICK. DOESN’T HE REALIZE THAT MILLIONS OF YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NOW LOOKING AT EVERY THING HE SAYS AND DOES AND – THIS IS OUR AMERICAN IDOL??? NOT MINE.

  14. jackiet says:

Yes agree, I saw him today and there is absolutely nothing to compare Kris with Adam. Adam shines and is so articulate something that poor Kris doesn’t have. You could see both Regis and Kelly were so enthusiastic having Adam on but ,yesterday were just being polite to Kris asking the usual mundane questions.
Going to Nassau Arena, August 11th and hope that we get plenty of Adam even though he’s not the “winner” the producers better realize that most people are spending their money to see Adam and not the rest of them.

  15. Boo, AT&T, Boo. That said….movin on.

  16. I am sooooooo glad to see more of Adam. I have watched everything and seeing something that is new for me to see is soooooo fun and he sounds soooooo cute and I love to hear him talk!

  17. Wonderful to see more footage of Adam and see he has not changed. Still disarming, charming and cute as a button — make that gorgeous! He is my Idol forever. No one will ever be able to top him!!!!

  18. ma berry says:

Thanks for this video. It is amazing how much presence and magic Adam has. How lucky we are that he made through the mob in SF! I knew some kids that tried out a couple of years ago in Minneapolis and there is so much luck in how they chose the ones that get through to tryouts. I am sure Adam’s magic helped him out there.

  19. AdamAddict says:

The name of Great Day producer is MARIO LOPEZ!! LOL!! I don’t know but I think it just funny! MARIO LOPEZ??!! LOL!!! Just imagine if someone named ADAM LAMBERT and he looks…hmm not so pretty!! I’m sorry,I’m such a bad person! But seriously MARIO LOPEZ..LOL!!! even the spelling…LOL!!

” My name is Mario,Mario Lopez” LOL!!! Gosh,I can’t stop laughing but he’s a smart guy,he knows how to track superstar!! Mario Lopez interviewed Adam Lambert once, and everybody will think it’s the hot Mario Lopez while this smart gut who did the job.Nice work,Mario Lopez!! 🙂

  20. Thanks for posting this! I’ve LITERALLY spent HOURS online reading about Adam, looking at pictures of Adam, watching videos of Adam, talking about Adam, and I’d never seen this one.

There’ve been contestants I’d favored and/or voted for before, but I’ve never been consumed by one the way I was by Adam. I never in a million years thought I’d go to an AI concert – already got my tickets for the Tacoma show July 7!

I can’t imagine the “presence” Adam has in real life – it must be an amazing force, judging by how much it comes through the screen. I’m so glad he auditioned and that we’ve all been introduced to him. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for him, and I’m proud to be witnessing his incredible and deserved rise to superstardom!
