Adam Lambert rocked the stage with Queen at Olympic Stadium in Moscow yesterday (July 3, 2012). He was majestic, in control and showing the world that he’s a true Superstar – although some still say In-The-Making! Simon Cowell called it right when he said Idol had found an international star! I hope he’s watching, along with Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and Paula Abdul. I would like to tell them thank you for putting Adam on the Idol stage. Without Idol, none of this would be possible.

I really believe we see a different Adam here from the Kiev show. He seems so much more relaxed and in his own element. And when he comes out after shedding the spiked leather bolero jacket, wearing and OMG tank top(!), he’s a much more theatrical Adam. Do you like the bonding onstage between Adam and Brian? It looks like they’ve really cemented a great professional relationship. Do you think Roger and Brian have “game chat” with Adam after each show, talking about not only the whole show, but how Adam is doing?

Thank you so much to JadellEJ for doing such a spectacular job filming most of this show. We now get to see the entire concert! These videos are on the same level as the ones we’ve come to know and love by our good friend Suz526. We hope you’ll be posting from all the remaining shows! 🙂 All videos are courtesy of JadelEJ except where noted. Thank you to all who documented history before our eyes!

It looks like we may get a guest singer at each of the shows. In Kiev, Queen had Viktor Romanchenko, the Ukrainian X Factor winner join them on stage. In Moscow, Zemfira, a 35 yr. old Russian rock artist joins Queen to sing Life Is Real, a song Freddie Mercury wrote two years after the death of John Lennon. Check
here for more about this song. For more about Zemfira, visit here.

Love ya and Happy July 4th!

About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

Adam is truly a gift to us.

  7. I prefer Adam doing stuff like this Rock with more vocal range than the poppy stuff. Hope they record some new music it would be a insatant hit.

  8. One Good Woman says:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Adam was born to be an entertainer and super star! I just love his voice and personality!

  9. One Good Woman says:

I wonder if Adam knows just how good he is? It’s so amazing that he could learn all the Queen songs on top of making his own CD and rocking it like he has been performing with them forever. I don’t think there are too many musicians out there that could do what he did and be awesome at it.

  10. queen was talking about writting more songs, hope they keep adam in mind !! they are a match made in heaven. this is how music should sound, magical!!
