***THIS THREAD IS CLOSED - DO NOT POST FURTHER COMMENTS!*** My question is this: is adamofficial really going to give us new videos of Adam answering new questions, or are they going to recycle snippets of old interview questions?
As those of you who follow adamofficial know, starting today October 7th they promise to give us our daily fix by featuring a “Question of the Day” video series in which “they” ask him a new question every day. They don’t say where they will get their questions from, but they say it’s all “new”, so we’ll see. Reading the comments on their announcement is hilarious. Lots of people want to know two things - when is Adam’s single coming out, and is it really Adam in the Flash Forward episode.
I like the comments that express a desire to see questions with a little more meat than something like “are you excited about your new album?” (duh!) or “what’s the new album going to be like?” (answered, answered, and answered again)
Let’s hope they do give us new questions and new videos. If you could ask Adam one question (other than when is the single coming or is that you in Flash Forward) what would it be?
BTW, as of this writing, today’s question video has not been posted on www.adamofficial.com

***UPDATED WITH PHOTO BY REQUEST*** All of us who attended the Brann’s party in Grand Rapids remember Sandy, who not only is beautiful, but wowed us with the cutest Adam shirt, shorts and handbag. I posted her photo on the article I did back on September 7th on the Grand Rapids party. You can see the article here.
Sandy is featured in an article by RockStar Weekly in conjunction with their Adam Lambert contest. Sandy is not only a frequent poster on the RockStar Weekly Adam Lambert Facebook Group, but is one of their video contributors. The article features one of Sandy’s videos. It’s a beautiful montage of memorable Adam photos.
The article also contains some information regarding the speculation on the drop date for Adam’s single. There’s really no new information here on the single, and we still don’t know when the release date will be. (Hello? Please, please give us a confirmed drop date, someone..anyone…please!)
You can view the RockStar Weekly article here, and Sandy’s video is below.
Sandy, you ROCK!

***UPDATED WITH LINK TO 2012 SONG LIST & CAST LIST***
See here for a list of the songs included on the 2012 soundtrack (yes, “Time for Miracles” is included!) and also a cast list.
Adam just tweeted this a few minutes ago:
“Shooting Time For Miracles Music Video!!!! Long day, but we are getting amazing footage!” YAY!!! A video is coming!!!

The soundtrack for the upcoming disaster film 2012 is due out on November 10th and is available now for pre-order on Amazon. A playlist of the tracks is not yet available, but Adam’s theme song “Time for Miracles” is expected to be included. The movie itself is due to hit theaters on November 13th.
You can order it here: Here
Just like Adam’s as-of-yet untitled CD, the 2012 soundtrack is certain to skyrocket up the Amazon music rankings. As of Saturday, Oct. 3rd at 5:30pm, it is ranked #49 in music.
Way, way back on September 4th, when Adam held a twitter party after the Madison concert (sending me, Sandra, and Mary to the bar at the Sheraton to commiserate) instead of coming out to sign autographs, he tweeted this:
“RT @Melissa4Adam: @adamlambert Brian May is raving about your song for 2012. What kind of sound is it? Classic rock ballad.Earthy and catchy”
I’ve ordered my copy!
This is an end-of-tour interview, but starting at 3:50 Adam talks quite a bit about “Time For Miracles” and the type of song it is.

Most of you know the Famous Mary C., who is a frequent poster and good friend to us all. For those of you who are new to our site, Mary C. and her sister Sue won tickets to the American Idol finale at the Nokia. Not only that, but during the early morning hours following the finale, Mary and Sue were lucky enough to hang out with Adam and take quite a few photos. I was finally able to meet Mary at the Grand Rapids concert. I stood next to her at the barricades after the concert, kinowing if anyone would get an autograph, she would. My instincts were spot on! Mary and I and all the Adam fans in our group at the barricades got autographs, photos, and even some personal interaction with Adam.
I posted Mary’s finale story and a few of the photos she sent back then in this article.
When I met Mary in Grand Rapids, she had all her finale photos with her, and I asked her to email them to me so all the Glambs could see them. Mary sent the photos to me this past week, so here they are. You can see that Mary and Sue not only saw Adam, but many celebrities and past Idols, including Justin (check out his nails!), Chris Daughtry, Bo Bice, Heather Locklear, Santana, and Mary even had her photo taken with Adam’s father, Eber.
It’s an interesting look back. The morning press session following the finale, as you can see in the photos, was pretty relaxed and devoid of any large crowd. Did any of us know back then what truly was coming? Did Adam know? I doubt it. From what Adam said in his end-of-tour interview, he still doesn’t really grasp why we all go crazy for him. Well, we know, and I’m afraid those days of low-key press events are all in the past. Some people might lament the loss of those quiet days, but it is what it is. Adam is a world-wide star, and we can’t help expressing our love for him in the only ways we know how.
For those of you who don’t know Mary and Sue, Mary is the one in the photos with Eber and Heather, and Sue is the blonde with Adam. Thanks again, Mary, for sharing your photos and your experiences with us!

Regardless of what we think about Adam’s new look - whether we love it or hate it - I think it’s a good idea that we get used to Adam changing up his look on a fairly regular basis. After all, for the past eight or so years, Adam’s been re-inventing himself over and over. I thought it would be fun to go back and re-visit some of those “other” Adams, some of which I love, some not so much. (You can always tell when I love a photo - I blow it up as big as I can get it!)
So below are a few photos showcasing the changes, beginning in 2001 when Adam worked on a cruise liner and was pretty just himself. From there, the photos are in no particular date order, except of course the last few, which are more recent, and the final two, taken a few days ago in New Orleans. I know he was just relaxing with friends in those NO shots and being very casual, but not a good look IMHO.
For me personally, the Adam I know is the Adam from Idol and the concert tour. That’s the look I fell in love with. Change is hard, and as I said before, the new look is not my favorite, but on the upside…it probably won’t be around for too long!
~~Jeanette, Glamb #5

According to Adam’s official website www.adamofficial.com details will be coming soon regarding an “exclusive Special Deluxe Edition.” Right now there is no further information on this, but stay tuned!
If you haven’t already pre-ordered Adam’s new album from Amazon, we have a nifty button below and on our sidebar for quick and easy ordering! There’s also a countdown timer for those of us who wake up in the morning and can’t remember what day of the week it is or what the date is.
I wonder what goodies the “Special Edition” will contain? Whatever it has in store for us, I’ll be ordering mine! What about you? Will you order both the regular and the Special Edition, or just one or the other?
~~Jeanette, Glamb #5
No, Adam, thank you!!!
Here’s the video of Adam thanking his fans for their support of his DonorsChoose charity challenge. For those of you who haven’t yet seen it yet, it shows off Adam’s “new look.” Some of you have already been weighing in on whether or not you like the look.
I don’t dislike the look - it makes him look a little devilish - but if I had to choose, I think I prefer his clean look better.
What do you think?

It’s the Dawn of the Aquarian! I’ve always been curious about Adam’s zodiac sign, but never knew enough about the subject to know what Adam being an Aquarian means. Maybe some of you have been wondering as well. Luckily for us, one of Adam’s fans has done Adam’s birth chart. Her article is below, used with permission. As a side note, please remember that this is one person’s interpretation and also that this, like everything we do, is for fun and entertainment only!
~~Jeanette, Glamb #5

BIRTHCHART FOR ADAM LAMBERT
DOB: 01/29/1982
POB: INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA
TIME OF BIRTH: UNKNOWN, EST
SIX PRIMARY BIRTHCHART SIGNS At the moment of Adam’s birth the twelve planets (sun and moon included) were located at certain places in space. Six of those planets have the most influence on a person’s character and personality. The following is an amateur interpretation of his signs and what they might mean for Adam.
SUN: AQUARIUS (fixed, air) MERCURY: AQUARIUS (fixed, air)
MOON: ARIES (cardinal, fire) VENUS: CAPRICORN (cardinal, earth)
ASCENDANT: LIBRA (cardinal, air) MARS: LIBRA (cardinal, air)
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Adam has several air signs. They are the rational, social, communication signs. But Air signs can also be somewhat high strung, nervous and need downtime. He has a fiery moon which influences action, passion, leadership. His earth sign Venus helps him to focus on his goals and work hard for them. Cardinal qualities influence action, or persons who start things. Fixed qualities provide endurance, strength and stability.
AQUARIUS SUN: THE SUN REPRESENTS EGO OR CHARACTER, SELF-IMAGE Aquarius: air, fixed
Aquarius sun types are known for their wide world view, their tolerance, sociability, straightforwardness, and originality. Adam reflects this, as we have seen, in his accepting nature, his interest in our world and his outspoken honesty. They can be somewhat eccentric as they are known for being ‘ahead of their time.’ They can also be attracted to the unusual or different. Aquarians are fixed, which means sticking to their guns but could also mean some fixity or stubbornness in actions or ideas. Adam’s idea of starting a charity even before his career really took off is a real Aquarian humanitarian attribute.
ARIES MOON: THE MOON REPRESENTS A PERSON’S INNER SELF, PERSONALITY, HOW HE MEETS HIS EMOTIONAL NEEDS Aries: fire, cardinal
Aries, as are all fire types, tend to be outgoing, dramatic, magnanimous and outwardly affectionate. However, being a cardinal sign, Aries is a starter, often a leader who may take over a project or a group. They show much enthusiasm and can be risk-takers. Adam shows his Aries moon when he chooses dynamic and wild costumes, brilliant, fiery stage props and as he prances about the stage, seeming fearless and able to cope with anything the audience may ‘throw’ at him. He is quick on his feet in that way. Aries are very honest, often impulsive and must take caution when sharing information. Adam is his Aries best onstage and his videos will reflect this Aries spirit.
LIBRA RISING SIGN: THIS SIGN GOVERNS ONE’S EARLY YEARS AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS TO OTHERS
Libra types are sociable, just like the other air signs but they also bring a certain class and grace to their personal interactions. Adam impresses many of us as being charming, polite and very gracious. Librans are concerned with balance and are able to see both sides of any situation. This gives Librans a perfect sense of beauty and harmony. A Libra rising wants to put his best foot forward in both appearance and behaviour.
AQUARIAN MERCURY: MERCURY REPRESENTS A PERSON’S STYLE OF COMMUNICATION AND THOUGHT
With an Aquarian mercury, these types focus on what will benefit mankind at large. Adam is open and analytical in his thoughts, rational when needing to communicate. His kindness and generosity with the other Idols was important to Adam, his ego did not begrudge assisting the others. An Aquarian is usually very fair-minded and thrives on networking. The new technology is a perfect tool for Aquarian types and Adam, so far has used it in a sane yet effective way, particularly with his fans. On Twitter, he shows support for his fellow artists and shares just enough of his personal doings to keep us satisfied without giving away his private life. Aquarians often see the ‘big picture’ and the future is considered in all their thoughts.
CAPRICORN VENUS: IN A MAN’S CHART VENUS REPRESENTS THE KIND OF LOVE INTEREST HE WILL BE ATTRACTED TO. IT ALSO SHOWS WHERE HIS AMBITONS LIE.
Capricorn, being an earth sign is first concerned with security, both material and emotional. Cappy types can be cautious and prudent and abhor public displays of emotion. However it is an earth sign and all earth signs have a sensuality which includes a strong sense of touch. It can be the hardest working sign of the zodiac and has amazing stamina when pursuing its goals in life. Cappys have a good eye for quality in their purchases. Adam has already shown us that he has a ‘sensible gene’ and this is it. The first purchase is to be a house for himself, a home base, where he can bring his friends to entertain and socialize. Too many Capricorn signs could mean ‘all work and no play’ but Adam is fortunate to have one of these sensible and enduring signs.
LIBRA MARS: MARS REPRESENTS HOW A PERSON BEHAVES IN ORDER TO GET HIS NEEDS MET
Librans who always seek harmony avoid confrontation and argument. Emotional displays or disruptions upset them extremely to the point that they can become ill. These types enjoy being noticed and appreciated. Libran’s style comes with enthusiasm and co-operation and Adam has displayed this in his interactions with his fans and his co-workers. Similar to Aquarius, Librans appreciate and believe in equality. Adam shows his air signs’ sociability, graciousness and calm when interacting with his excited fans.
SUMMARY OF THE SUN/AQUARIUS, VENUS/CAPRICORN, MARS/LIBRA COMBO:“These types know people from all walks of life, enjoy tremendous popularity and long to beautify their environmennt through some form of social or artistic work. They are spontaneous, effervescent and partial to the brighter side of life. Beauty and harmony are essential and they are attracted to intelligent inquisitive minds. They are active thinkers, strong talkers and they have a need for variety, stimulation and freedom.”
* Taken from Astrological Sex Signs Barbara Justason
One final note about Aquarius…many people confuse Aquarius, the water bearer with a ‘water’ sign.. but it’s an air sign. The two fish, Pisces is a water sign.

You know, I never thought there was anything wrong with our sharing of our love for Adam. I still don’t. But there are people out there who disagree. Some person who calls himself or herself (don’t know, don’t care - at least I have the balls to put my name to my articles) “Topidol” and arrogantly describes his blog as “the most hot and anoited blog in all the interweb” posted this article about my Flash Forward “Is It or Isn’t It?” article. I hate to give air time to haters, but this person rather ticked me off. I put a comment on her article, and I know some of the other Glambs have already commented as well. Please add your two cents if you feel inclined to do so.
Here’s the llink.
First we’re called a “cult,” and now we’re “insane.” This person Topidol also tells us to “shut up.” I’m not going to go on and on defending myself, our website, the Glambs, or Adam. I don’t feel I need to, and I’m sure you guys will all agree with me. I’ll only say that we have fun sharing our love for Adam, and we don’t hurt anyone in the process. I just feel it’s terribly sad when bloggers, or reporters, or whatever this person calls herself, resorts to hatred and negativity (or “snarky” as they call it so they can avoid thinking of themselves as “haters”) in order to get readers. What happened to being creative? As I said in my comment to him, I guess that’s too much work.
And lest I sound bitter, I’m not! Thanks for the publicity, Topidol! I’m sure your article will benefit us more than it will you.
As always, let me know what YOU think!

***UPDATE - ADAM’S CD RANKED #1 ON AMAZON AS OF SEPT. 29th*** Feeling blue? Stressed out waiting for news of the single? Well, don’t be! Adam is everywhere!
As we all know, Adam is popping up all over the mainstream media. This is nothing new, of course - he’s been hot news all spring and summer. But with the arrival of fall and the anticipation of his new single and album (as well as his 2012 movie song and the Zodiac documentary), it seems that you can’t pick up any kind of magazine without seeing his name mentioned! And we know you can’t turn on the TV without seeing him (or thinking you see him!)
Here are a few recent tidbits from the mags in case you haven’t seen them…
In their recent September 21-27 issue, TV Guide announces the “tops” of their 2009 Tubey Awards, where fans voted for the best, worst, and craziest moments of the year. No surprise on this award – in the category of “Reality Loser Who Most Deserved to Win” the winner is Adam Lambert. (Though I don’t think that ANY of us think of Adam as a “loser.”)
In their September 25th issue, Entertainment Weekly ranks the upcoming Idol albums (from past and present Idols) in order by anticipation, along with comments. At the “can’t wait” end is Adam (where else?), though EW only says, “The showstopping singer has teamed up with Linda Perry, Ryan Tedder, and Lady Gaga producer RedOne.” The rest of the rankings, however, might surprise you. Second behind Adam is Jason Castro, followed by Kris Allen in third, Allison in fourth, Blake Lewis in fifth, and David Archuleta at the bottom of the “don’t care” end. Ouch!
Do you plan to pre-order the CD, or will you download from itunes, or are you planning on purchasing the CD in person? I think I might do all three, just to support Adam. And any extra copies can always be used as gifts. (Oh, and yes, I have already pre-ordered my CD from
Amazon.) What do you think?

Thanks to everyone who submitted suggestions for the title of Adam’s new CD! The response was more than I expected, and it has taken myself and Dana a few days to go through all the ideas, put our heads together, and distill the list down to our top 10. We had to leave lots of great ideas on the cutting room floor, so please don’t feel bad if your idea isn’t on our final poll.
Go to www.glambs.org to cast your vote for your favorite title. You are allowed to vote once per day. We will close the polling on Saturday, October 3rd and at that time we will submit the top 3 vote-getters to Adam via our Glambs twitter. We’ll also post the results to you at that time.
Thanks again to everyone. We know that Adam’s CD will be a huge success regardless of the title!

***UPDATED WITH TRAILER - MAD WORLD COMES IN AT 1:53*** This is one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen! Thanks to our friend Ofra for finding this on youtube and bringing it to our attention. It’s the closing minute of yesterday’s premiere episode of the new TV show Flash Forward. Yep, the same show that used “Mad World” in its promos over the summer. Watch the very end of the video, and you tell me, does the mysterious figure look familiar? It’s a very fuzzy shot, but some people think it’s Adam. People commenting on youtube are split - some say it is him, some say it isn’t. I have to say, the more I replay the video, the more it does look like Adam to me.
I didn’t see the show yesterday, but it was rerun tonight, and I watched it. It’s a strange Lost-esque kind of sci-fi show revolving around the mystery of why everyone in the world blacks out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and sees a glimpse into their future life during those moments. The mysterious Adam-figure is caught by surveillance cameras walking around during the exact time everyone else on the planet has blacked out.
So what is going on here? I don’t mean with the plot of the show, but with us thinking we see Adam. Do we have Adam so much on the brain that we see him when he really isn’t there? I’m reminded of those word puzzles where all the vowels are removed from words, and yet we can still read the words and know their meaning. When the mind sees a blank spot, it fills it in with what we expect to see. Is that what’s happening to us?
Or is it really Adam, filmed in his short scene by the TV producers in order to tease and tantalize us into watching more episodes of the show?
What do YOU think? The facial features are fuzzy, but the general shape of the head is Adam’s. The hair is Adam’s, and the coat looks like Adam’s long Mad World coat (remember the Mad World vocals in the promos - the puzzle pieces seem to fit!).
I think it’s Adam. I see some savvy TV people cashing in on Adam’s popularity to get ratings. Cast your vote below - yes, it’s him or not it’s not, and tell us why!

The name of our club, after all, is Glambs International, so I feel it’s only right that we try to help our international friends as much as possible. As one way to do this, I’d like to start an “adoption program” whereby a Glamb in the U.S. agrees to “adopt” a foreign counterpart for the purpose of mailing copies of magazines that may be either unavailable where they live or outrageously priced. I’m talking about magazines like Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Elle and any other magazine that may have a major Adam article/photo spread.
If you’re interested, here are the instructions. First, if you live in the U.S. and are willing to adopt someone, please post a new comment (as opposed to a reply comment) below stating your intention and how many Glambs you are willing to adopt. Then, if you are an international Glamb and want to be adopted, please reply to the comment of the U.S. Glamb. That will be the partnership.
If someone else has already replied ahead of you, please wait until someone else offers to adopt. I leave it to the “partners” to work out payment for reimbursing the sender for magazine and shipping costs. Seems to me that PayPal would be a great way to go for this.
I don’t want anyone giving their email addresses out publicly (you will get spammed), so if you decide to participate in this program, whether you’re the adopter or adoptee, please email me at jeanette@glambs.org and I will hook the partners up with each other. Just make sure in your email to me that it’s clear who your partner is.
I don’t know how well this will work out, but I feel it’s worth a try! If you have any questions or foresee any major problems with this idea, please let me know. I will start things going with my comment below.

***UPDATED WITH MORE PHOTOS*** (Oh, My!!!) A few of you have already seen this (it’s hard to keep ahead of you guys!), but it is being reported by Rockstar Weekly that Adam is starring in a new motion picture (no release date yet) titled The Zodiac Show: Metamorphosis. The movie, which is now in post-production, documents a 2008 live performance of The Zodiac Show starring Adam and The Pussycat Doll’s Carmit Bachar. You can read more in the article here.
MTV did a very nice in-depth article about The Zodiac Show back in April. Here’s the link.
Yeah! Yet one more thing for us to look forward to!!!

***UPDATED WITH PHOTO*** I had to post this photo - it is soooo yummy! Does anyone know where/when this photo is from???
Many of you have already seen the USA Today article by Brain Mansfield in which he asks, “will Lambert become the international superstar that judge Simon Cowell predicted? Or will he wind up merely being the object of an obsessively devoted cult following?” Here’s a link to the article in case you haven’t yet seen it.
I looked up “cult” in Merriam-Webster, and it defines the word as “a usually small group of people characterized by devotion to a person, idea, object, movement or work.” I personally see Adam’s appeal as going far beyond “cult” status. We’ve all seen examples both online and in person of fans ranging in age from babies, young children, teens, to us older folks. Adam’s fans come from both genders, people from all over the world, from both conservative and liberal leanings, and people of all occupations and backgrounds. This to me doesn’t fit the definition of cult. Or if we are a cult, well, then we’re the biggest cult on the planet!
Another article was just posted that discusses Adam’s upcoming album and his appeal. We all know that since the tour ended, Adam has feverishly been traveling the country working on his new album. He’s also been tweeting about it quite a bit. This new article by Jim Cantiello of MTV sums it all up quite nicely. It’s a bonus for us that Mr. Cantiello sings Adam’s praises in the process, without the speculation that Adam is just a flash-in-the-pan who appeals to no one except a few obsessed fanatics. You can read the article here.
What do you think about these two articles? Are we a cult?

***UPDATED WITH FORD DAY PHOTO - STRIPPED DOWN & BEAUTIFUL*** Now you may be saying to yourself “oh no, not more on Ford Day!” but there’s a good reason Carol and I are trying to give this event full coverage. It marks a very important transition in Adam’s career. It may be the last (at least one of the last) of Adam’s Idol commitments. (This event was planned long ago as Ford is one of American Idol’s prominent sponsors, as we all know.) The Ford Day mini-concert represents many potential “Lasts”…now I’m not saying these things will *never* happen again, but if they do, they will be rare occurrences. I think we all realize that Adam, with his solo career, will not follow the same path he did with Idol.
So…it may be the final, or one of the final times, that Adam and Kris sing a duet together. It may be one of the few times we get to hear Adam “unplugged,” (though word is that he is doing GMA on November 24th and hopefully we’ll get another taste then), and we might not hear the Idol and concert tour songs “Mad World,” “Tracks of My Tears,” and “Starlight” too many more times. We simply don’t know what the future will bring. It will be exciting, we know that, but in our rush to the future, let’s make sure we enjoy this final one-of-a-kind Idol event.
Here are the downloads, then, for Adam’s Ford Day songs. If you haven’t listened to them, you must, simple as that. They are all so perfectly sung and so emotional, I just want to cry when I hear them.
Starlight:

I already have all these songs burned on a CD, and it is so great to be able to listen to these performances in my car.

OK, time for some fun! The last I heard, Adam’s CD is still untitled. During his final twitter party, Adam said this:
“Have you decided on a title for your album? not yet… What do you think i should call it? :)”
So, if you could name Adam’s album, what title would you give it? We will collect ideas in comments for two days, the deadline being Tuesday evening, Sept. 22nd. At that point, stand by for Part 2 of the contest! The ultimate goal will be to twitter Adam with our best ideas.
My idea is “Rule of Venus” which comes from Adam’s twitter when he talks about those he loves.
Special request to those of you who get carried away - please don’t hijack this thread with links, videos, etc. that don’t relate…if you do it will make it very hard for people to stay on point and for me to keep track of the contest entries. Thanks!!!
~~Jeanette
Yesterday on September 18th, Adam and Kris performed a mini-concert in Dearborn, Michigan for the annual Ford Motor Company Day. Following is a video from the performances which starts off with some not-unexpected Ford jokes followed by a Q&A session that’s pretty much done strictly for fun. If you want to cut to the song (”Crazy”) it begins at 6:24. Kris is good on the guitar, but his vocals are no match for Adam’s.
This second video contains the very end of the give-and-take and the song:
Wow! Proof once again that even without the makeup and the dancing Adam’s emotional vocals are second to none!
~~Jeanette
The party continues! Here’s the promised photo swap of our personal favorite concert pix of Adam. Some of you sent in your favorite photo from the season, and that’s OK, too. I have to say it’s a particularly yummy bunch of photos, but how could it not be?
Above each photo is the name of the person who sent it in along with the concert it’s from, if they told me. All concert photos were taken by the sender, unless otherwise noted.
If you sent in your photo and it’s not here, please resend. If you didn’t send in a photo and still want to, email me at jeanette@glambs.org before Sunday night Sept. 20th, I’ll add it. Otherwise, this party will be wrapping up and we’ll be thinking about the next party!

***UPDATED WITH THE PHOTO YOU’RE ALL TALKING ABOUT - ALSO PLEASE NOTE MY COMMENTS BELOW IN THREAD!*** There’s been a lot of speculation during the past few days about Adam’s first single and its release date. It has been rumored that the single will be a song titled “Strut,” co-written by Adam and American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, to be released on October 12th, but the latest information as of September 18th is that this release information is wrong.
The single has NOT been officially announced yet.
It has also been leaked that a Rolling Stone reporter heard “Strut” and described it as “a Depeche Mode-meets-Queen self-empowerment anthem that highlights Lambert’s range.”
I know everyone’s hungry for news, but as always, we will have to wait for the official announcement. Whatever the single is, I know we’ll all LOVE it!!!
~~Jeanette, Glamb #5
Looking through some of the recent comments, I see some long faces. Some of you have your chins dragging so much on your keyboard that one would think someone had died! This should be a time of celebration - Adam isn’t going anywhere, and neither are we! The only thing I see ending is a brief chapter in the book of Adam’s career. Remember when Season 8 ended and we thought we would die? What? No more weekly performances? No more new itunes videos and songs to download? How would we survive? But we did. We waited a few long weeks, and the tour began. Now that chapter, too, has ended, but Adam’s career is a tome, guys, not a comic book – there are plenty more pages to turn in the future. (And if you can’t get your fix by checking out our future articles, there are hundreds of existing photos and videos you can look at until your eyes bleed and your eyeliner melts!)
Adam deserves a break from the daily tour grind. My fear is that he won’t get enough of a break – there is recording to be done, more photo shoots, more interviews, more of everything Adam. And whether or not you believe it, I think we all need a break as well. How will our appetites be truly whetted for the solo tour unless we hunger first? Think about it – this is a time to party, not be sad!
I’m in the process now of coordinating a tour wrap-up party with Milwaukee’s small but passionate group of Glambs. So far I hope we can do an evening out with great food and the swapping of stories, photos and gifts. If you went to a concert with friends or family, are you planning a party? How will you celebrate?
If you can’t do a face-to-face party, let’s have a cyber party! Part 1 will be a “photo swap.” Pick out your favorite concert photo (performance photo or signing session photo) and email it to me at Jeanette@glambs.org. One photo per person, please! Over the coming weekend I will post the photos I receive. (Please include your name or screen name, which concert the photo is from, and if you took the photo, go ahead and brag so I can credit you!)
Part 2 is your favorite 3 concert moments. If you attended a concert, pick your favorite personal moments. If you were unable to attend in person, pick your favorite moments from the youtube videos or from the previous TOUR VIBE articles/comments. My personal favorite moments are these:
1. The post-concert signing session in Grand Rapids, MI, when I told Adam my name, touched his hand, and he stared straight into my eyes!
2. The Madison, WI concert, when I sat in the front row and was able to experience Adam’s performance up-close-and-personal (thanks again, Sandra!)
3. The Milwaukee, WI post-concert signing session, when I got my first autograph and touched Adam’s hand for the first time.
If any of you are truly computer challenged and have no way of obtaining some eye-damaging hot print photos, email me at Jeanette@glambs.org. I ended up with some pretty kick-ass photos, and I’m happy to share (won’t cost you.) Same goes for music – if you’re download-challenged and need a CD for your car, email me.
Now no more mourning, people!

Our hours of travel were long, but Terry (Mother Theresa), Cheryl (Naughty Girl Norman), and I soared to Grand Rapids, Michigan on Adam, adrenaline, and anticipation. We converged on Brann’s Restaurant on Sunday afternoon along with Glambs from all over North America. There was Judy (jaberone) from Michigan, Sandy (iluvadam4ever) from Ohio, my sister-in-law Merri from Michigan, Vera (gala) and Nadia (Veronica) from Canada, and Jennifer from Canada, among many family members and friends who accompanied them. Meeting these “old friends” in person was like a family reunion, with hugs, laughter, and lots of wonderful getting to know each other.
I took some time out of the party to hurry down to the Van Andel Arena with my “Personal Assistant” Cheryl (hey, everyone has to have “people”) to see Barnaby, who interviewed me on Friday on the “Barnaby & Friends” morning radio show on WLHT 95.7 in Grand Rapids. Barnaby told us that he’d just interviewed Adam, and that he’d told Adam about his interview with “Jeanette from Glambs.” Barnaby told Adam that I’d mentioned as a piece of “Adam Trivia” that he’d performed for a year on a cruise ship, and that just days before 9-11 Adam had had his photo taken on the ship with the Twin Towers in the background. Barnaby said that when Adam heard that, Adam slapped the table and said he was impressed and that I’d done my homework.
Well, needless to say, I about swooned. Adam had heard my name!!! Barnaby said he wasn’t able to give us back stage passes since he had no involvement in that, but I didn’t care. My day was made. We soared back to Brann’s to share the news that if Adam didn’t know about us Glambs before, hopefully he knew us now!
At the Arena we met up with the Famous Mary C. and her sister Sue for hugs and photos before finding our seats. I was in Section 109, close to the stage but off to the side. Not as good as the front row, so my photos aren’t as close-up this time, but there’s always a money shot in the bunch (check out the 6th Adam photo down!!!). The crowd was definitely a Matty G crowd, as I expected, but Adam’s fans showed enough love and support with their screams to let everyone know that Adam was the star *we* came for. The sound system was horrid, but Adam overcame and treated us again to “Woman” and “Back-Door Man.” I’m happy to say that my sister-in-law is now an official Adam convert!
We skipped out early again after Adam’s set, and at the barricades Mary C. called to me. I knew I would stand next to her, in whichever spot she chose, because no one is luckier than her in meeting Adam. Glambs lined up next to us, and as always, we agonized over whether we’d picked the best spot on the barricades and whether Adam would even come out at all. I was very optimistic, first because I felt Adam would do a brief or no-show backstage meet and greet to give Matt the spotlight (this is what Adam did in Milwaukee with Danny), second because of the upcoming off day (no need to “rest his voice”), and lastly, because I was with Mary C.
And our hopes were realized! Adam came out first, looking all calm and sparkly in his heavy eye-makeup under the near-full moon. People were going mad all around him, but Adam’s serene and composed demeanor never wavered. I almost got squeezed from the barricade as he approached, but Mary C. handed Adam a Glambs card, and I finally worked up the nerve to talk. I told Adam that I was the one who’d been interviewed by the radio station, and that my name was Jeanette. He looked right into my eyes and replied, “oh, yeah!” I softly squeezed his hand, he signed my Rolling Stones photo, and as he moved on, I took a few more photos before it hit what had just happened. I backed away from the barricade to give someone else my spot (I was done for the night - what more could I want?), so addled that I left my bag with my camera and photos hanging on the fence. Someone called “is this your bag?” and I was able to retrieve my treasures. All the Glambs were lucky, each getting an autograph (Judy got 3 doing the famous Mary D. trick of continually moving down the line in front of Adam!) and a touch and a chance to speak to Adam. I hope all the Glambs who were at the Grand Rapids concert will comment below with their own experiences and adventures.
My concerts are done - I can now join the many of you already in concert withdrawal. But when I return at the end of the tour, I hope to host a cyber (and an in-person) Tour Wrap-Up Party. Then there will be a CD Release Party, and next year an Adam Tour Kick-Off Party…well, you get the idea. Seriously, there really is no letdown with Adam, for there is always a party on the horizon.
Check out the most unbelievable Mad World video on the GR TOUR VIBE article here.
See you all in a couple weeks!

PS - Terry, Cheryl, Jane, Mary C. and ALL you guys - I had a blast and I love you all!!! Thanks for making it a special, special day that I will never forget!

The Quads - Me, Sandra, Mary D., Jill

Me and Kelly

Sue and Jeanette

Maybe it was the full moon, but there was magic last night in Madtown. Then again, maybe it was all Adam. What started out as a concert experience among four new friends quickly became both a Glambvention and a uniting of Adam fans from literally across the world. I arrived at 1:30 for the pre-concert signing, the only one there of our initial group of me, Mary D., Sandra and Jill. I was on my own, or so I thought, since Mary had car trouble, and Sandra and Jill weren’t due until later in the afternoon. I positioned myself at the barricade next to an obvious group of Adam fans, and as I gazed at the woman standing beside me, memories of photos that I myself had posted on this website popped into my head. Do you remember Kelly, the Glamb Leader who hung out with Drake and also had her arm signed by Adam? This woman looked so much like her! But Kelly had gone to concerts in Texas and Oklahoma. She surely wouldn’t be in Wisconsin, would she??? I kept watching and listening, and I overhead “Dallas” and “Tulsa” and I finally asked her if she was Kelly. It was her, along with her daughter and friends! Her friends looked perplexed when Kelly hugged the stanger next to her, but we quickly explained that we were sister Glambs.
Only Danny, Matt, Michael and Kris came out, and after two hours of broiling under the hot sun, I went across the street to my hotel to cool off and grab dinner. As I sat down in the restaurant, other Idol fans started coming in, and a family with a beautiful 4-year-old daughter tried to settle in at their table, but the little girl was obviously too excited to sit still. Her father commented that she was an Adam fan and that she’d been waiting four months for her first-ever concert, and I gave them the thumbs up. The little girl ran to my table, eager to show off her Adam nailpolish - black, of course, with an extra special design on her thumb nails. She had blond braids, and her entire head sparkled with glitter. There seems no end to the continuing proof that Adam’s appeal is universal.
Mary, Sandra and I met and hugged at the Alliant Energy Center with our new friend Jill, and the four of us cajoled some very nice ladies into taking photos of the “quadruplets.” Later, as we entered the building and walked through the floor area to our seats, I kept hearing my name called. Glambs from all over, posters and lurkers alike, had seen my photo on the Milwaukee article and recognized me (I was wearing the same jacket, which helped!) Many thanks to Trisha and Dave for flagging me down to chat, and also to Joanne, who just happened to have the seat right next to me in the front row. Then I heard my name again, turned around, and heard, “I’m Sue!” Another Glamb Leader was at the show! It was Sue from the Chicago area who will be taking over TOUR VIBES for me! We hugged and chatted and posed for more photos.
Then two beautiful girls who had flown all the way from Japan just to see Adam stole our attention away with their beautiful Adam silk shirts and Adam paddle signs. Their outfits were as stunning as our hero and did wonderful justice to Adam’s beauty. I asked their permission to post their photos.
The show itself was an experience that will live with me forever. Thanks to Sandra, I had a center section front row seat. The front row magnifies everything about the concert experience - you notice details in the outfits, their expressions, and the sweat running down the faces of the guys. And it feels like they’re singing to you, and you alone. I did take photos of all the Idols - I hated the distraction of the camera, but I was too wonderfully close not too, and I’m happy to say I got some fabulous shots.
And what can I say about Adam that we haven’t said before? Close up he is simply stunning, beautiful, and sexy beyond words. Last night he wore the most makeup of any of the shows I’ve been to, but it gave him that super-fierce look we love! Everything about him glitters, sparkles, and glows with a white hot energy that makes you truly believe he is a star from the heavens put on earth by God to teach us to lead calm and purposeful lives, but wrapped up in the sexiest and most beautiful package in the world, just to make sure we pay attention! (And here Adam thinks he’s just here to entertain us. Ha!) Of course he did entertain! He gave us “woman” again, and a Mad World that was so unbelievably emotional that I felt like I was inside the song and inside Adam. *That’s* how to connect to an audience.
We skipped Kris and the finale to race to the barricades, agonizing over which spot would be the best to ensure us an autograph and photos, but unfornately Adam tweeted that he wouldn’t be coming out in order to rest his voice. He held a Twitter party instead, which we followed on Sandra’s iphone. Wow, I think we wore Adam out! We screamed so hard for him, and he gave us his all in response.
Madtown did Adam proud, and he did us proud. Many thanks to Sandra and the other “quads,” and thanks to the many people who flagged me down to say hi - you guys all made the night that much more special for me. I hope you enjoy my photos! I had to include pix of the girls - they are all soooooo beautiful.
Grand Rapids, here I come!
~~Jeanette
After a day off in Chicago, Adam and friends return to Wisconsin for a concert at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison on Friday, September 4th.
First, just a couple of brief website updates…first, thanks to Lila for sending in some great photos from the Kansas City show. The third of her photos is actually a t-shirt – the coolest one I’ve ever seen (how can I get one?) Check them out here: http://adam-lambert.org/tour-vibe-%e2%80%93-american-idol-summer-tour-2009-%e2%80%93-kansas-city-mo/
I’ve also added a photo on my Milwaukee “Starlight” article of the “Calm & Delightful” Mary D., Sandra, and me. Here’s the link: http://adam-lambert.org/the-milwaukee-concert-%e2%80%93-my-own-%e2%80%9cstarlight%e2%80%9d/
This is the third of my shows, and I’m eagerly awaiting this show with as much anticipation as I did the Milwaukee and Chicago shows. As I commented briefly in my “Starlight” post, it will be very interesting to gauge the reaction of the crowd in Madison and compare it to Milwaukee’s crowd. Milwaukee was “Gokeyland,” as the Idols themselves described my city, and it was plainly evident. There were clearly louder and more frequent screams for Danny than anyone else, even Adam (oh, how it hurts to write that!)
But while Madison is only 80 miles away, the two cities are very different. Madison is a big university town (University of Wisconsin – Madison, home of the Big Ten Badgers), and it’s known as a liberal town (state capital in a blue state) and a party town (it isn’t called Madtown for nothing.) So the demographics are pretty different than those for Milwaukee, known most, of course, for beer and brats. So I’m going to really be curious to see if Danny still gets the big “hometown” screams, or if Adam, as in most concert cities and as he deserves, garners the longest, loudest, most enthusiastic vocalizations a crowd can put forth. Thankfully, regardless of what happens in Madison and Grand Rapids, Chicago was Adamland! Thank you, Chi-town!!! I grew up in Evanston, just two blocks north of Chicago, so last night was a bit of a homecoming for me, and I am so thankful to all the Chicago fans who made it a night for Adam.
I’m going again with the Calm and Delightful Mary D. and Sandra, and we will be joined by Jill, who was also at the Milwaukee concert. We all have great seats, and we all anticipate having the time of our young lives!
If you’re going to the Madison concert and want to share your thoughts, please comment below, and if you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.
Other than possibly a quickie “My Excellent Adventure Part 3: Madison & Part 4: Grand Rapids” this is my last post for a while and my final TOUR VIBE. Sue will be taking the wheel from now until the end of the tour. It’s been quite a ride, and it’s been my pleasure to try to keep you informed and entertained. I’ll be back when the tour is over for lots more Adam news and fun. Until then, don’t skere Sue off!
Love~~Jeanette, Glamb #5
I was interviewed by phone earlier today by Barnaby of the “Barnaby and Friends” morning radio show on WLHT 95.7 in Grand Rapids. Barnaby has been an Adam Lambert fan from early on and saw my article on Grand Rapids. He emailed me, I called him, and it went down in the same whirlwind of excitement that has defined the past week for me. I think I babbled and rambled on, but the interview wasn’t live, so hopefully he can edit the interview and make me sound halfway articulate. Geez, do a radio interview and you will SO appreciate even more the calm and intelligent way that Adam handles himself when he’s interviewed!
So what did we talk about? Glambs, of course, though I had to correct Barnaby when he called us Glamberts. I talked about the international aspect of the club, mentioned some of the countries our fans hail from, and thankfully remembered to give our website address. I talked briefly about my four concerts, and then we quickly moved on to Adam himself. Why do you all love Adam? (Let me count the ways…) How do you recognize an Adam fan? (Black and blue and glitter an glam!) What can you tell us about Adam that people might not know? (I mentioned Adam’s stint as a cruise ship performer and mentioned he was in New York’s harbor days before 9-11) What causes are dear to his heart? (I talked about DonorsChoose and how people could donate.) And, of course, we talked about Grand Rapids. Barnaby asked why he thought so many fans from all over were converging for this particular concert. Boy, I didn’t have a good answer for that one!
The interview should air on tomorrow morning’s show (Friday, Sept. 4th). If any of you live in Grand Rapids, please check it out and comment below. Did I sound sane? Did I give the right answers? Or did I babble like a drooling lunatic? The more I think about it, the more I feel like I could have been a whole lot more calm and cool and collected, like Adam always is. How does he do it??????
By the way, Barnaby told me that he’d have a booth set up outside the arena between 4 and 6pm, and that people were welcome to stop by to register for a chance to win a meet and greet pass. Here’s the link to the Barnaby and Friends show.

***UPDATED WITH PHOTOS*** OK, my photos are not the best. There were tons of people on the barricades, and it was hard to get photos. Profiles are pretty much all you can get until Adam is right in front of you, and then you’ve got your hands full trying to get an autograph…and stare into those eyes at the same time! Looks like Adam got a haircut after Milwaukee. The “tousled” spikes are gone. *Sniff sniff* Check out the beautiful eyes. Sorry that one is blurry!
Mary D. and I decided at the very last minute to drive down to the Chicago show. It was too close not to – just an hour and a half drive. So after work yesterday I changed clothes, drove to Mary’s house, and in spite of heavy construction and rush hour traffic, we made it to the ugly old Allstate Arena in time for the concert. Mary had purchased the tickets off ebay just a few hours beforehand – Sec. 202, first row, which weren’t as bad as we feared. We were high up, but could see the whole stage unobstructed, as well as the whole crowd. It was a much different perspective from our previous floor seats, and one we were happy to experience.
Danny and Matt got fantastic support from the crowd, but I’m happy to say this was Adamland, and the ear-piercing screams for our boy were definitely the loudest and most sustained of the night. He was fantastic – the same emo hair as in Milwaukee, but with a touch more eye makeup – a thin blue line of glitter that paralleled his normal eyeliner. He gave us the gift of “woman” again, and the sound system took pity on us and gave us a wonderful (but still not perfect) Starlight. Mary and I clutched each other like lost souls in a lifeboat who’d just been rescued – we were of one mind and one heart in our joy and rapture!
We left after Kris sangHeartless to run, literally run, through the arena to try to find the signing barricades. Security mis-directed us a few times, but we made it to the back side of the arena, and found a good spot right on the barricades about halfway down. No rain this time, just a beautiful clear night with a moon that was almost full. We waited next to a beautiful 13-year-old girl who was a total Adam fan. Finally, the Idols started coming out, with the girls first. I didn’t bother with photos, but got autographs – very brief initials, as this barricade line was about 3 times longer than the one in Milwaukee, and the Idols had to zip. The guys started coming out, but we wanted Adam. Where was he? Those around us started mumbling their doubts, and chants started for Adam. Mary and I tried to remain calm and positive. Finally, the last one to come out, he appeared! He looked stunningly beautiful with the touch of blue glitter accenting his eyes, and a crystal “LOVE” pendant around his neck. He finally got to me and Mary, signed for us, and then was called to the bus. If we literally had been another 3 feet down the line, we would have missed him. Our fabulous luck had continued!
No touches or shared words, though. But I was happy to get his autograph and have him stand in the moonlight in front of me for two seconds. I was having trouble with my camera, so I don’t think I got a decent photo, but it was all good.
We had wild thoughts of following the buses to Madison, but they got too much of a head start on us. Still, all in all, it was a pretty damn fine evening for something planned by the seat of our pants.
The adventure continues tomorrow in Madison with Mary D., Sandra and Jill!!!

Not rumor, not hearsay, but straight from those luscious lips! Adam tweeted this:
“over 86K raised by http://www.donorschoose.org… !! thank you guys so much! keep it coming! fyi my album drops Nov 24th !”
Personally, I am happy about this. There have been reports that Adam’s and Kris’s CDs would both drop on Nov. 17th, which would once again pit the two head-to-head. As the winner, Kris does deserve to have his album released first. Having the dates a week apart is what I was expecting, and this is how I think it should be.
So mark your calendars - two days before Thanksgiving. Thank you, Adam!!!
PS - Going down tonight after work to see the Chicago concert! Last minute thing, but it’s too close not to go. Actually, I heard Adam’s body calling to me and I couldn’t resist that siren song, haha! Lots of construction between here and Chicago, and with rush hour traffic, we might miss Michael and Megan. Darn. (Just kidding!) Adam is the only one I care about! I’ll try to get at least a short review written up tomorrow.

***UPDATED WITH FANTASTIC VIDEOS!!!*** Due to the overwhelming response to our Meet and Eat at Braunn’s Restaurant, we are moving up the reservation to 3:00pm to ensure that everyone has plenty of time to socialize and grab a drink or meal before heading down to the concert.
Adam and the gang re-visit Michigan for a concert on Sunday, September 6th at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.
YEAH!!! This is the concert that so many Glambs have been looking forward to! I’m posting this ahead of time due to the planning involved…I’m not sure why the little city of Grand Rapids has turned out to be the Mecca of the Midwest for Adam fans, but it seems that’s what has happened. Terry (Theresa/Canada) and I will be arriving in town on Saturday, and on Sunday we will be joined by Cheryl Norman and my sister-in-law. The four of us will be staying at the Crowne Plaza. On Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm, we will be meeting to grab a bite to eat. Change of plans here, sorry. Arnie’s was not able to accomodate, us, so we are going to meet at Brann’s Restaurant instead. Their address is 5510 28th St., SE. We’re a definite go with them - the reservation is made. Sorry for the confusion, everyone!
We hope to be at the Arena close to the time they open the doors, and we’re all planning on hanging around after the concert for the late-night signing session. At this point in time, Terry and Cheryl won’t be doing the afternoon signing session. I’m not sure yet if I will or not. Those of you going to the concert who can’t make Arnie’s but would still like to say hi please email me. We can try to hook up at the Arena.
If you’ve been following the comments in the threads, you know this is going to be a wild and wooly concert! Mother Theresa, Chief Butt Kicker, Naughty Girl Norman, the Famous Mary C…Good Lord, does poor Adam stand a chance????
So please email me at jeanette@glambs.org if you want in on the Glambs meet, and please let me know in particular if you’re interested in Brann’s as we need to get a head count ASAP.
And lastly, don’t forget that if you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

The Idols travel to Minnesota for a concert on Tuesday, September 1st at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
First, one correction from yesterday. I mentioned Mars in the photo credits, but I forgot to actually publish her photos! I apologize - I often forget what I’m doing. I’ve published the pix now. If you check them out on the Glambs Photos & Videos page at http://adam-lambert.org/tour-vibe-glambs-photos-and-videos/ and scroll down to August 25th where I’ve put Mars’ photos, the fifth one shows Adam bending forward. Mars explains what happened:
“THE ONE PIC WHERE HE IS BENDING OVER, HE IS TALKING TO A HANDICAPPED GIRL THAT WAS ON A STRETCHER. HE TOLD EVERYONE NICELY TO MOVE OVER AND GIVE HIM SOME ROOM TO TALK WITH HER SO SHE COULD SEE HIM, IT MADE ME CRY. THE MOTHER WAS IN ASTONISHMENT, THAT ADAM TOOK THE TIME TO SPEAK TO HER! THAT IS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT HIM, HE CARES ABOUT EVERY SINGLE FAN!”
Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Mars!
We apologize for posting the recent TOUR VIBES out of date order. We have a lot of personal scheduling issues going on, and we’re doing the best we can to work things out. I’ll be leaving you soon, so after this week Sue will be taking over the TOUR VIBE duties for the duration of the Idol Tour. She’s new at this and still learning the ins and outs, so please be nice to her. Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere, and I’m not quitting. I love Adam and Glambs too much for that, but it’s been an intense six months, and I need some “me time” to take care of things in my life I’ve been neglecting. I’ll be back before you miss me!
And one sentence about the haters, because they don’t deserve any more attention than that…please don’t waste time or energy commenting or distressing about them, because doing so plays right into their hands. These threads are about love, and love needs no defense.
If you’re going to the Minneapolis show, please share your experiences with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

Many of you, of course, remember Mary C. and her sister Sue’s amazing moments with Adam the morning after the Idol finale in front of the Nokia theater. Mary’s story and photos from that day are posted on this page: http://adam-lambert.org/exclusive-photos-the-finale-was-just-the-beginning/
Mary and Sue’s journey continued last week in Columbus, OH. Mary commented about it on the Columbus TOU VIBE post, but it’s so fantastic I felt it deserved its own post to make sure everyone sees it. So here is their story in Mary’s words, and check out the terrific photos. Please take note of their one-of-a-kind t-shirts!
Ok Everyone, ADAM ROCKED COLUMBUS! I’m just gonna start by saying, we lucked out again. Front row seats, that were purchased yesterday thru Ticketmaster, couldn’t believe it. Two girls that got are original tickets were so excited, since they were better seats than their originals.
OK, to the show.
I’ll skip the 1st 8 idols, Adam had the Emo hair ( so hot), when the screens started the music and flashing his letters, A D A M the place went nuts!! Out he comes, looking oh so gorgeous, hair, eyes, white teeth, his whole body, you just can’t get enough of him. I’m still shaking and excited! WLL, he got the microphone between his sexy legs, played with it, and said WOOOOMMMMAAANNNNN! Oh yea, Adam you know how to please! Starlight, spectacular, Mad World, out of this world, Slow Ride, was rockin’, he and Allison do fantastic together, you can tell they play and have loads of fun. Girl next to me threw up a whip type (teaser) object on the stage, he picked it up, swung it around and threw out to the audience. Few bras went flying up there, (not mine) he played with a couple of them. He seems to really enjoy using those props!!!
Then, the “Bowie Medley” OK, his facial expression so FIERCE AND WILD AS HE TAKES OFF THE LEATHER JACKET AND STRUTS UP CLOSER TO THE FRONT PART OF THE STAGE. He just kicks ass, with those numbers! The sway part is still my favorite, I wish he would just do the sway dance steps in a separate video (u know how earlier in the season the vid of him doing the KRUMP dance?? Then after Let’s Dance, the stage is lowered and he is smiling and thanking the crowd. Adam comes back out, as do the others to sing a bit of Hey Jude. Awesome. The finale song, Don’t Stop Believin rocks the house too. When Adam and Kris are lifted up from the lower part of stage, AGAIN THE CROWD GOES WILD! You just don’t want the show to end. I did take some pics, in between dancing, so I’ll send those as soon as someone helps me!!
OKAY, NOW THE MEET AND GREETS! Got lucky again, I have good close up pics of Adam signing after the show! I just can’t say enough how this guy is blatantly polite, nice, sweet, and like I said before EVERYTHING GOOD! After the show, my sister and I went out where they would be coming out and waited. We actually got a good spot, Adam and Megan came out FIRST, YES I MEAN FIRST. What a thrill. Adam is one of the first ones out to sign. He walked by and started at the other end of the line, this was about ten minutes till eleven. When he was in front of us, I handed him the pic, of the two of us and he looked at it and OH YES, AUTOGRAPHED IT! Also signed my sister’s! I told him : Adam I want to thank you for what you do to make so many people feel GOOD AND SEXY ( I forgot to say the word HORNY) And again, he’s so frickin mannerly, he says to me ” THANK YOU FOR TELLING ME THAT” Here I am thanking him and he’s thanking me. Just can’t say enough, the man is SPECIAL! Sue, my sister, mentioned our pics were takin w/him out in LA and he looked and said ” Oh Yea” He took his time, alot of time signing things as he walked to the other end of the barricades and down the steps to go off to the next adventure.
Now, the early meet and greet, from talking to people we met, was done inside and they were at tables and I guess that was done quickly. A lady told us, Adam and Danny were very nice and the others weren’t as nice as they were. I just want to win the lottery and go to all the rest of the concerts. I know all of you feel the same way. Lee M it was nice meeting you last night, I’m so glad I knew where your seats were so we could come and meet. After all the excitement, today feels like a letdown. You just want the magic to continue. This site makes it all better to share our love for Adam. He did look at us from the stage with those ever so sexy eyes of his, I know he noticed the shirts! My husband wanted to know why I didn’t ask him to sign my shirt. You get so caught up in the moment and with everything else going on, I was thankful to say a few words and get the pic signed, then the afterthought was: Yea, I could have dug him signed my shirt, as the pen stroked across my Boobs! Love you all!

Eva also sent in a great close-up shot of Adam from the GMA concert which you can see here http://adam-lambert.org/good-morning-america-august-7-2009/
Thanks to everyone who has sent in these great photos! I have more photos yet to add, so if I haven’t mentioned yours yet, stand by. I’m going to keep this post brief so I have time to work on all the pending photos.
May all of you going to the KC show or any of the upcoming final shows have a great time! The best advice I can give anyone based on my experience in Milwaukee is to forget, if you can, all the previous reviews, photos, videos, and go in with no pre-conceived expectations. Take whatever you get as a gift, and don’t try to compare what you get with what others get. If you go in with expectations, you’re bound to be disappointed in something, and believe me, this is too special of an event to let dissatisfaction or frustration ruin it for you.
If you’re going to the Kansas City show, please share your experiences with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

***UPDATED WITH PICS OF MY AUTOGRAPHS*** Note regarding photos: These photos are all taken by me. Milwaukee photos sent by other Glambs will be posted and credited on the Milwaukee TOUR VIBE article and the Glambs Photos & Videos article.***

Me

Bradley Center

The Calm & Delightful Jeanette, Mary D. & Sandra

Me, Mary D. and Pam

Matt with the Famous Mary D.

Mary D. and Michael

Scott and his mom

Here is my first autograph:

Here is my second autograph. You can tell it’s briefer and more hurried. This was obtained at the very end of the barricades, after he’d already signed dozens of photos. The initials top left is the real thing. The silver “signature” on the bottom is what comes preprinted on the photo.

Friday dawned like an October morning, gray and chill, and I fought to not let the sky dampen my enthusiasm. I talked to Mary D., the Glamb I was going to meet up with for the afternoon signing session. We agreed on 1:00. I ran a morning errand to the sound of raindrops on my windshield. Things were not looking good. However, when I got home, I glammed myself up and prepared a Plan B - I threw a fleece jacket and umbrella in the car in case the sky fulfilled its promise to rain all day.
I got downtown around 1:00, parked right across the street from the Bradley Center, and saw a smaller-than-expected crowd at the barricades. I easily found a spot right on the barricades and camped out, watching the leaden sky. As I waited for Mary, blue patches started to appear, and the sun came out! Was my “magic” indeed happening? Mary arrived, and we hugged like old friends. Our adventure was beginning! At 2:30 the Idols started coming out, one at a time. Between 2:30 and 3:30 all came out except Adam, Kris and Lil. Some stopped for photos, others zipped thru doing signings only. I didn’t expect Adam to come out, so I wasn’t disappointed in that.
Megan is tiny and exquisitely beautiful, but she wore the weird afro hair thing. She was sweet and stopped to do photos. Michael was nice and did photos, too. I got my pic with him (the only one of me and an Idol). Danny only came out for a few minutes, so I didn’t get his autograph, but he stopped right in front of us, so I got pix. He said he had to go do press. Scott came out with his mother, but didn’t do photos. I got autographs from Megan, Allison, Matt, Scott, Michael and Anoop.
After the Idols disappeared, I spent some time trying to hook up with other Glambs who had contacted me ahead of time. It was so great to meet those I did meet, and I apologize to those people I missed.
My seat was good…I had no trouble seeing. Sat next to an old guy with white hair who was a total Idol fantard. Met a lady a few rows up named Sandra who had flown in from Minneapolis. Finally the moment came for the show to start! Very heavily partisan crowd, which I expected. Michael got cheers starting things off and said that the show was being dedicated to Danny. He and everyone kept referring to Milwaukee as Gokeyland, which bugged me a little after about the third time. None of the three girls really seemed to connect with the crowd. Anoop had a lot of fans there. The old guy next to me barked like a dog for Anoop. My focus on each of the first eight wavered, and I found myself counting the songs in each set, happy when each set ended to bring me that much closer to Adam. Matt got insane screams, and my ears almost started bleeding from the shrieks from the ladies behind me.
When Danny came on, I was happy because I knew Adam was next. Danny had his moment in the sun to the delight of the crowd, and when Danny’s set ended, the screaming just went on and on. There was no break between the final accolades for Danny and the anticipatory shrieks for Adam, just a sustained blast of ear-splitting noise. I rode that communal scream, adding all the volume my lungs were capable of, until the thunder and lightning and smoke on stage gave birth to Adam in all his glittery glory. Whole Lotta Love was primal perfection, capped by a “woman” that was like the best sex - long and sweet and up and down. The rape and pillage of the mic stand, however, was toned down. In deference to Gokeyland?
Starlight broke the spell a bit, as Alvin the Chipmunk took the sound system hostage. I don’t know why they can’t fix this problem. The only thing I can think of is that the sound system isn’t made for the kind of notes Adam hits. Mad World was as hauntingly beautiful as Adam himself, and Slow Ride was fun but made me realize Adam’s set was almost over. Nothing was thrown on stage that I could see. One doesn’t throw sex toys in Gokeyland. The Bowie medley made me wonder why I’d bothered to memorize lyrics, because all I did was watch Adam’s beautiful, toned body eat the stage. Like great sex, it was all over too fast.
Mary and Sandra and I had talked about skipping the finale to stake our claim at the barricades, but I didn’t want to pass up one last chance to see Adam. In the group number he towered above all the others, and while he gave props to Kris as the Idol winner and Danny as the hometown favorite, he owned that stage with his sheer strength of presence. All the others were just mere squatters, and while Milwaukee may be Gokeyland, that stage was Adamland.
After the finale Mary and Sandra and I rushed outside to the barricades. It was raining pretty hard! Luckily Sandra had an umbrella (I had put mine back in my car after the afternoon signing, sure that the rain was done), and the three of us huddled together feeling pretty miserable. A check of radar on Sandra’s iphone showed a huge mass of green and yellow headed east toward Milwaukee. I knew no one would come out in the rain, but we in our fellowship strengthened each other, and we waited with patience and determination.
But the magic of the night continued, and just at the exact right moment, the rain stopped, and the guys started coming out to sign, much earlier than the midnight time frame I had anticipated. I didn’t pay any attention to the ones I had already gotten pix and autographs from earlier…I didn’t even care about Kris or Lil, who came out. I only wanted Adam! He appeared to the accompaniment of screams from the crowd, though not to the kind of OMG orgasmic screams of other cities. Gokeyland, remember. Adam started on the far side and worked his way slowly around. I strained to get closer to the barricade, so afraid I wouldn’t get his autograph. Would my camera battery die? Would I? I was a mass of nerves on wobbly legs, sustained only by my new friends Mary and Sandra. It seemed to take forever for Adam to come to our side, but then he was in front of us. The Moment.
That moment was like the time, years ago, I had been a close-up witness to an armed grocery-store robbery. You see what’s happening, but you can’t believe it. Your mind voices silent “OMG, OMG, OMG” but no words come forth. You stare, but the shock robs you of your ability to see. The moment freezes in time, then is over before you know it. I had nothing coherent to say to Adam – my apologies to him and to you. Gutsy Mary asked if she could feel his pulse, and as she did, I touched the back of his hand and rubbed his skin. It was so warm and soft! I got my first autograph, and I got a few pix but most looked like they didn’t turn out. It didn’t matter – my expectations had already been met and exceeded. My legs started shaking, and my mind went as mushy as my legs. I stood there in a daze, but the calm and delightful and always-thinking Mary said “let’s go down to the far end of the barricades so we can see him again!” Somehow my legs gained the strength to scamper to the end of the line where we waited again for Adam. I got a second autograph as he came by. He did the entire barricades, took his time, and smiled that angelic smile of his the whole time.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I heard HUGE screams for Danny as he came out last, but I didn’t care. I already had what I wanted, and more. After Danny made the rounds, the crowd dispersed, but Mary and Sandra and I stayed, basking in the wonderment of the evening, not wanting it to end. Sandra and I already have tickets for Madison, and Mary hopes to go. Our excellent adventure together has only begun. Though the three of us were strangers earlier in the day, by the time the midnight struck, it felt as if we’d been friends for years.
The day, as I’d dreamed, had been full of not only hopes and expectations, but magic and surprises, and I thank the same God who created Adam for a day I will never forget.
Many pics to follow! ***ADDED*** Just saw this tweet from Adam: “Thank you Milwaukee. Fans were so sweet tonight. Thank you for the support! :)”
No, Adam, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
***ADDED*** And Michael tweeted this: “I got so many nice gifts last night in Milwaukee. The most gifts in a single city of the whole tour.”
So this may be Gokeyland, but we’re still pretty nice here to all the Idols. Thanks, Milwaukee!

***UPDATED WITH VIDEO*** Adam and the Idols hit St. Louis, Missouri for a concert at the Scottrade Center on Saturday, August 29th. I apologize for the brevity of this post – it’s been a long couple of days, and I’m running on fumes. I have yet to write up my own concert review of Milwaukee’s show.
If you’re going to the St. Louis concert and want to share your thoughts, please comment below, and if you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

Adam and Company are chillin’ (literally) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a concert at the Bradley Center on Friday, August 28th. (I’ve been waiting so long to write that!) After Milwaukee, the Idols head south and west before hitting Wisconsin and Michigan one more time before heading back to the East Coast.
On Thursday, as I write this, it’s overcast, gray enough to need the car headlights on, and raining as steadily as if the city is just waiting..waiting for Adam to cast his light and love over the city. I’m hoping for a beautiful day tomorrow, but seriously – it’s supposed to be cold and thunder storms. At least my disappointment in not getting a backstage pass is gone (I know, I know – entitlement is not sexy), and I’m nothing but excited today.
I’ve made my practical list of things to bring and also my heart’s list of “hopes and expectations.” But do I really want events to unfold exactly as I’ve dreamed them? No. I’m a storyteller, and I know that the best stories are not those that simply fulfill readers’ expectations, but that take readers on a ride that lifts them above and beyond expectation to soar to a place filled with magic and surprises. Some of you have commented that I should leave my wish list at home and simply enjoy Adam as he is, and you are exactly right. To do otherwise would doom me to certain disappointment that “Adam didn’t do this” or “Adam didn’t do that.” And I don’t want to feel that. Adam is a gift, period, so I’m not going to think about my expectations, but about all the wonderful surprises that await me.
This event is also about fellowship, as this website is, and as the whole Adam experience is. We are his fans, and we’ve bonded with other fans of diverse ages and backgrounds who have all been united by this one extraordinary man. I wouldn’t be as excited as I am if I were going alone. Luckily, I’m hoping to meet up with several other Glambs and their families in the afternoon. A group experience that is not merely shared, but shared by people who understand each other, is special indeed. Adam touches each of us individually, but it’s the knowledge that what we feel is also felt in the same way by so many others that makes it such a wonderful experience. Why else do we hang out on this website? We could all just view photos of Adam and watch and listen to videos on our own. But we come together here to share, chat, inform, and support each other. We assure each other that we’re not crazy, and that feeling is as important as our love for Adam.
Because of the bad weather, I’m playing the pre-concert signing by ear. If you want my cell phone number to try to meet up on Friday, email me at Jeanette@glambs.org. Several people have already expressed interest in getting together, so hopefully we can make it happen in spite of the weather.
I don’t know if I’ll have photos to share, but I’ll definitely have a detailed post-concert report for you over the weekend. If you’re going to the Milwaukee concert and also want to share your experience, please comment below. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

The gang travels to Michigan for the first of two stops in that state. They play at the Palace at Auburn Hills on Wednesday, August 26th.
New website updates: I added some fantastic new photos from the San Diego concert courtesy of Glambertgirl1 (sorry it took me so long!) You can view them here. (Scroll down to July 18th – San Diego.) I also added some great videos to the Cleveland TOUR VIBE, which you can see here, and a smokin’ Whole Lotta Love video from Columbus (woman, back door man, and emo hair – I want that combination on Friday!) Also added to the Cleveland page is a post-concert m&g session with lots of screaming and crying. Geez, is it any wonder Adam doesn’t want to face that on a nightly basis? Am I going to be that bad? I hope not, but maybe!
Some personal bad news today…found out this morning that I can’t get a backstage pass to the Milwaukee show. Apparently the Gokey family got sooooooo many requests that their allotment of passes went very, very quickly. I knew it was a long shot – was told it was a long shot – but still I’d held out hope that Providence would smile on me. I felt like crying for about 2 hours, but fought the tears back since I didn’t want my Me by Mezhgan eyeliner to smudge all over my face. In the afternoon I just felt like I was in a daze, and my stomach hurt the rest of the day. Why does Adam do this to me? Please tell me this totally irrational emotional roller coaster isn’t just me!
Adam and the gang will return to Michigan on September 6th, when they visit Grand Rapids. I won’t be able to give you a TOUR VIBE for that concert since I’ll be on the road with no computer access, but hopefully later in the month I’ll be able to tell you about my experiences.
If you’re going to the Auburn Hills show, please share your experiences with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

***UPDATED WITH GREAT POST-CONCERTS PHOTOS COURTESY OF CHEYENNE*** The Idols stay in Ohio for a concert on Tuesday, August 25nd at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.
Today’s website updates: I added a new photo from the Robert Sebree shoot here (it’s the top photo). Thanks to adamtastic1877 for finding this photo and sending it in to us!
Sandy sent in some great photos from the Cleveland concert on August 23rd. You can view them here. This is what Sandy had to say about the experience: “He totally rocked and was phenomenal as always. He even signed my Adam Lambert purse. He was so kind and so very hot!!! It made my day when I finally got to exchange meet him and exchange some words with him. I will totally cherish it forever! The night was definitely too short!!” Thanks, Sandy!
Pamela also sent in a photo of Adam with the boa at the Hartford show. (It’s on the same page as Sandy’s photos above.) She’s especially partial to this photo since she’s the one who threw it! Pamela promises a review and more photos, but Adam’s hotness melted her computer and she has to get it up and running again before sending more to us (seriously – it crashed and burned!) Thanks, Pamela!
And lastly, the infamous Cleveland interview you’ve all been talking about:
Adam is great, as always, but the reporter is sooooo lame. So many of these reporters obviously know very little about Adam, and as some of you noted in comments, keep re-asking the same old questions that were asked and answered long ago. The only new thing for me was Adam’s debunking of the laryngitus rumor. I never really believed he had laryngitus, but it kept popping up all over the web. Now we know the truth!
If you’re going to the Columbus show, please share your experiences with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org
As a side note to emailing us, please rest assured that we’re getting your photos and links, however, due to an increased volume of emails we may not be able to respond to everyone. Also, with regards to photos/videos sent in, please know that we try to post as many as possible, but it’s impossible to post everything sent to us. Sometimes we need to exercise discretion in what gets posted. We love you guys, and we want you to keep emailing your photos and videos, but there aren’t enough hours in the day for Dana and I to handle every request.
Personal side note: Any Glambs wanting to get together at either the Milwaukee or Madison shows please email me at jeanette@glambs.org
***UPDATE*** Here’s another great video in case you haven’t yet seen this one. Somebody mentioned how Adam licks his lips. Well, YES HE DOES!!!

***UPDATE - WE’RE ACKNOWLEDGED IN THE PROJECT OF THE DAY*** Message from DonorsChoose.org: The staff of DonorsChoose.org walked into their Monday morning surprised and thrilled at the update on the Adam Lambert Fan Group leaderboard—over $30,000! Our staff was amazed at how much money all of you raised over the weekend and we are all so grateful! However our office manager was not surprised. As a rabid Adam fan, she knew you guys would rock it! Keep up the great work! We can’t wait to see what kind of national press will be coming our way; http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/DonorschooseOrg-1034734.html
Project of the day: KARMA, the Glambs International Fan Club and several other groups have given to this project: Music On the Inside Out. This project only has 7 days left to get funded with more than $10,000 needed. It would be AMAZING to see this 5th classroom in Kent, Washington (where 65% of the children are eligible for free and reduced lunch based on poverty level) participate in a school band! In the teacher’s words: “I would like to see students at the Fifth Grade level have the opportunity to try a band instrument during the school day without the financial restrictions of State, and Local budgets. My students need 42 band instruments, including bells, trombones, flutes, trumpets, and clarinets.” So what do you think groups? Think we can do it? Go to your group’s page (to make sure they get credit ?) and search for this project and donate to it!
Quote of the day: Carole from Wilmington, DE: “I gave to this project because I believe the voice of music is one of the key elements of an emotionally well-rounded life, starting even before birth and extending throughout one’s lifetime. There is nothing in life that touches the heart and impacts the total being more than the gift of music. If we didn’t know that before, Adam Lambert has taught us so in spades. He has chosen a magnificent charity. Thank you, Adam, for the way you have touched and continue to touch us all.”
Glambs International has raised nearly $1,700 as of this writing, with 41 donors, and we’re currently sitting in 5th place on the leader board. Visit our Glambs Donor Page to see the participating school projects and to donate.
If you haven’t yet donated, please consider doing so, even if it’s a small amount. Any amount is welcome. Many thanks from Adam, the Kids, and from Glambs International!!!

With Adam we tend to be absorbed with what’s currently happening and what will happen in the future, since those are the things that excite us right now. However, I think we all agree that looking back can be sweet. Stewart just sent these photos from the Charlotte concert, and they’re soooooooo good that I had to post them as a special concert off-day treat.

Thank you so much, Stewart, for sharing these terrific photos with us!!!
Lruch also sent in these pix from the Hartford concert on August 16th. Before the show she just happened to run into the woman who threw the pick bra on the stage and was able to get this fantastic close-up of said notorious bra. Lruch said that this woman had the glammiest outfit of any she saw. (Wish I had the guts to wear the black leather fingerless gloves!) Lruch also included a photo of Adam with one of the other items thrown on stage- an aqua boa (wanna be the boa!) Thanks Lruch!!!

***UPDATED WITH CONCERT VIDEOS*** The gang moves on to Ohio for a concert on Sunday, August 23nd at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland. Yeah, another state closer!
One quick note regarding concert videos on youtube…some of you have asked for certain videos to be posted. Here is my policy on posting videos – I won’t post videos belonging to other fan clubs. There is a certain other Adam fan club out there that takes beautiful videos. They are wonderful to look at, no doubt about it. However, said club “stamps” their club mark on the videos, so that anyone viewing it can see that it belongs to them. This is one way their club promotes itself. Anyone wanting to view the videos on youtube or elsewhere, of course, is welcome to do so, but it would be wrong for me to post them on our site. I do searches on a regular basis to try to find the best quality videos to post for you, but only if they are *not* stamped with copyright or other club markings. Sometimes I can’t find always find high-quality videos for a particular show. When I can’t, I don’t add. I won’t post a bad video just for the sake of putting something up. I hope you guys all understand my position.
On to more enjoyable subjects! Thanks for all the concert advice you all are giving on the Pittsburgh thread. Since you guys started in that vein, I’d like to solicit more advice on this thread from those of you who have already attended your shows. This isn’t just for me, but for all fans who have yet to go to their concerts.
What can you tell us that would help us “newbies” out? Some things, of course, like the sound system and seating are out of our control, but what can you advise us on those things that are in our control? Did you arrive at the right time? Did you bring the right stuff with you? Are the other 9 still doing a pre-concert signing session? What is the best time to arrive if there is a pre-concert session? I know that camera restrictions may vary by venue, but did those of you who did take cameras run into problems with security? I am hoping to do 2 out of 3 of my concerts without bothering with a camera, because I think the advice to just soak in Adam without distractions is a great one, but on the other hand, I also want something for posterity and also to share with you guys.
If you’re going to the Cleveland show, please share your experiences with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

The Idols stay in Pennsylvania for a concert on Saturday, August 22nd at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh.
First, lots of updates to older articles…I added two new photos to “Warning: Exposure to These Photos Can Be Dangerous to Your Health,” added Emili’s adorable drawing of Adam and another photo you have to see to believe to “We Want Adam and Adam Wants Us,” added videos to the Albany and Philadelphia TOUR VIBES and adamtastic1877’s Philadelphia photos.
One week to go until my concert! Yesterday I was thinking about what single thing I specifically was hoping Providence had in store for me, other than just seeing and hearing Adam in person. I found I couldn’t narrow it down to just one wish, so I indulged myself and made a list. I also realized it was highly unlikely for all my wishes to be granted at just the Milwaukee concert, so between Milwaukee, Madison, and Grand Rapids, here is my wish list, in vague order of desire:
1) One “woman” (Even tho I know “baby” is his preference, I like to think he’s singing this to me!)
2) One emo hair (I don’t mind the Elvis hair, but this is the original “look” I fell in love with)
3) One night when he really wails (a 10-second “woman” would take care of #1 and #3!)
4) One good sound system (no squirrels on helium)
5) One good view from my seat
6) One venue I can take photos/videos
I figure it will take all 3 concerts to give me what I want, which is one reason I bought 3 tickets. I didn’t list an autograph or meet even though I desperately want them. At this point in the tour, after all that’s happened, I think it’s an unrealistic goal. If it happens, that would be heaven, but I don’t want to be disappointed and have the entire experience negated in my mind simply because I had false expectations. I should find out on Monday from Danny’s cousin-in-law if I can get a backstage pass for Milwaukee, but he says it’s a looooooooong shot. I’ll let you know.
Personal side note: If any of you are going to any of my concerts and want to try to meet to say hi! or hang out before the show, please email me at jeanette@glambs.org
For all of you who have gone to go to a concert, what was on your “wish list,” and was it granted? If your concert is ahead of you, what’s on YOUR list?
If you’re going to the Pittsburgh show, please share your experiences with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org. This email should be working fine now, so please don’t hesitate to use it.

As was suggested in comments, we should all just subscribe to Rolling Stone, because Adam is getting and will continue lots of play! I just picked up the new September 3rd issue, which contains photos and a very short article from two weeks ago, when Adam and Kris did GMA and the Atlantic City concert. Though the article is ostensibly on both Adam and Kris, Adam gets the bulk of the photos and print. The magazine has only four photos - I’ve posted all I could find online that show Adam, considerably more than made print.
There’s really no new information in the article, but there are some nice quotes from Adam. “I love that the girls go nuts,” he says. “When I’m getting nasty with the microphone stand, it doesn’t matter if I’m gay or straight - it’s just sexy and fun.” About his upcoming album, Adam says, “I like anthems that say, ‘I’m a badass.’ I’m not a big fan of feel-sorry-for-yourself-type music. Right now, I’m getting everything I want.”
There’s the usual RS profanity and reference to alcohol that I personally could do without, but I guess that’s Rolling Stone for you. Adam’s roundabout inference is that if it were up to him, he’d drink before his performances, something that is currently not allowed on the tour. I’m not so sure that would be the smartest thing to do.
But hey, at least he’s eating his veggies!
If you’ve read the article, let me know what you think!

***DAY 3 - SUNDAY UPDATE***
As of Sunday the total from all groups surpassed the $ 26,000 mark. Of that total, Glambs International is over $1,500 in donations with 38 donors and is in 5th place on the leader board.
Hey all! DonorsChoose sent us this update today and wanted us to pass it along:
“What an amazing day 1! Over $11,000 and counting! We are so excited at the fan group pages, images and enthusiasm. We are expecting great things over the weekend as we prep for big press on Monday. So pump up the competition and give to schools!”
This is the first day total for ALL Adam fan groups. As of this posting, Glambs has raised over $1,000 from a total of 27 donors! GO GLAMBS!!! Right now we’re in 4th place among the 12 participating groups, which is great, but we have quite a ways to go to reach the leaders.
Visit our Glambs Donor Page to see the participating school projects and to donate. On this page you can also view our donation total and our ranking on the donor “leader board.”
Any amount is welcome. Many thanks from Adam, the Kids, and from Glambs International!!!

Friday, August 21st is a concert off-day, and there isn’t too much in the news, so time for some fun! I was trolling the web for Adam stuff, as we all do, and I cam across these pix. They’re old, so you might have seen them before, but they’re worth another look. From backstage at Idol, during Top 3 week. Adam’s expressions are priceless!

***UPDATE - FANTASTIC DRAWING IS BY EMILI FROM MALAYSIA, GLAMB #19*** Thank you Emili!!!
On a more serious note, remember that Adam wants us! He has tweeted and stated in interviews that while he appreciates personal gifts, he would much rather that fans spend their money by helping those less fortunate. If you haven’t yet read the post titled “Read This NOW! Glambs Teaming Up With Adam!!” read it now. If you’re having trouble finding the post, it was moved to the “Featured Posts” at the top of the page where the slideshow is. Watch for the “Adam Wants You” banner and click on it.
Please, please consider donating to one of the low-income classroom projects chosen by Adam. In addition to the “Lambert Loves Learning” challenge, this is a competition between select fan clubs to determine which group is the most generous.
The winner will host an exclusive private interview with Adam. So please donate whatever amount you can, and please spread the word. If you do donate, please make sure to donate through our Glambs International page via the link in the “Read This NOW” post.
Thanks from Fernando and all Glambs Fan Club Leaders!
Some of you may have noticed in comments that Mary C has been trying and trying to send us some photos over the past few days. I’m happy to say she finally succeeded! Warning (up front this time!) - viewing these photos may cause additional glamage to your eyes and can result in glitter-vision. Also, it is highly recommended that you not lick your monitor! Doing so may result in glitter-mouth.
I’ll let Mary introduce the photos in her own words:
“Hi Glambs, here are some of the pics from when my sister and I were ever so lucky to go to LA for the AI finales. We met Adam on Thursday morning (early 6:30 am) after the Weds. night show, he had only gotten 45 mins. of sleep and still looked great. He is the nicest, coolest, sweetest everything good I can think of man. He looked us right in the eye when he spoke to us with those gorgeous eyes of his, like being hyp-motized. At one point I was trying to take my sisters pic, and he giggled and said ‘Uh you have to turn your camera ON for it to take a picture.’ Talk about feeling silly. He didnt care, the sweet guy that he is. This was truly a dream come true for us, not only being able to attend both of the Finale shows, but being able to be so close and talk to Adam…we were on cloud 9. I am the googly eyed one in the green shirt.”

The Idols leave the East Coast to travel to Pennsylvania for a show on Thursday, August 20th at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. This, for me, is the start of the tour! This concert marks a turning point for me and all the other Midwesterners out there, for the tour is finally headed to the Heartland. We’ve waited weeks now (seems like months!) for our turn as the gang did numerous shows in California and New York. Someone commented recently that they wished we could skip the month of September in order to be that much closer to the debut of Adam’s album, but lots of us would argue against that! The tour is only a little more than half over, and with respect to our friends on both coasts and in the South, there are lots of shows remaining and a lot of us eagerly anticipating *our* chance to see Adam in person.
As I write this, my Milwaukee concert is only 9 days away - 9 days that are going to be sloooooow, agggggggonizing torment, like waiting for the date of a lifetime with the one guy you never thought would ask you out. That date will start when I walk into the Bradley Center. The first 8 Idols will be teasing foreplay, and then when the fog rolls, the lights explode, and the screen counts down A – D – A – M…well, the angel will be singing, in more ways than one.
If any of you Midwesterners out there can relate to my feeling that the tour truly begins in earnest in Philadelphia, please comment, and if you’re going to the Philadelphia show, please share your experiences with us. Also, don’t forget to share your photos. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.
Side note: Can some of you please assign yourselves the job of checking on a regular basis for the availability of 2010 Adam calendars? We all want to know the very minute they’re available for purchase!!!
Second side note: I heard a rumor that the Adam Elle issue will be December. I haven’t been able to confirm this, so if one of you wants to go on “Elle” watch for us, that would be super!

The gang is back in New York again for a concert on Wednesday, August 19th at the Times Union Center in Albany.
There isn’t much news today other than the fabulous pics from Adam’s Robert Sebree’s photo shoot, which I’ve posted separately. Here’s one more pic, 180 degrees from the photo shoot pics, but fun nonetheless. Who would have ever thought a year ago that a guy with that many freckles would be the sexiest man on earth? It’s courtesy of TMZ and was taken this past Monday in New York City.

And here’s an interview from Nassau from a week ago. Nothing really new here, same old questions (I so wish these reporters would be more creative - there are so many things we still DON’T know that we want to!) like “is it surreal to you?” and “what’s the album going to be like?” but Adam is so cute and he has such a great way of answering as if it WAS the first time he’d heard those inane questions…
If you’re going to the Albany show, please share your experiences with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

***UPDATE - MORE SEBREE PHOTOS ADDED*** Adam tweeted this a few hours ago: “Glad you guys liked the new shoot! Bostona gonna rock tonight!!” Could it be he’s referring to these photos?
These *have* been making the rounds today, and they are so smokin’ hot that I figured if I waited until the next concert off-day to post them, there’d be nothing left but cyber-ashes! These photos are from a shoot done by Robert Sebree. As to the purpose of the shoot…just speculation, but in the meantime, enjoy, but enjoy responsibly! (See warning below.)

Warning! If you stare at these photos too long, your eye lens will concentrate Adam’s hotness and focus it to a very small spot on the back of your retina. This can cause permanent glamage to your eyes, resulting in blurred vision in which all you can see is blue glitter. Be aware that there are no pain sensors on your retinas, so you won’t even know it’s happening until it’s too late.
Exposure to these photos can also cause glam exhaustion, which may result in heavy sweating, dizziness, weakness or fainting. If ignored or untreated, this condition can progress to glam stroke, in which it is recommended you call 911.
To avoid this medical emergency, take a cold shower, crank up the air conditioning, drink a cool beverage, and shut down your computer. Close your eyes, grab your ipod, and let Adam’s voice take you away.

The gang hits Boston for a show on Tuesday, August 18th at the TD Banknorth Garden. While most of the Idols were in Boston Monday for a day off, there was, of course, no day off for Adam (has he had a single day off since Hollywood week started? I doubt it.) Adam is back again in New York City. He sent this tweet:
“Onto to stuff that matters: in NYC to record song with MAX MARTIN!!! Soo excited. This album is getting so great!!”
So we can now add Max Martin to the growing list of collaborators for Adam’s album. For those who aren’t familiar with Max, he’s written and co-written four #1 hits since 2008 including “So What” by Pink, “Hot N Cold” and “I Kissed a Girl” by Katy Perry, and “My Life Would Suck Without You” by Kelly Clarkson. Adam is certainly amassing some pretty incredible credits for his album! How many number one hits will this album spawn?
This photo is from a week ago, not today’s trip to New York City, but it’s a pretty incredible shot.

If you’re going to the Boston show, please share your impressions of the show with us. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

Today’s Adam news confirms something we already knew – that Adam will have a song on the soundtrack of the upcoming film 2012. On his blog, Brian May, Queen guitarist, talks about hearing the song and says, “I have to say I was completely blown away … it’s truly sensational. In fact it’s so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. I am not kidding. I’m not easily moved to jelly by male vocalists … but Adam’s voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. Its an awesome performance. No doubt about it. The world of Rock has a bright new star.”
2012 is a science fiction disaster film due out in November, 2009 by director Roland Emmerich and starring John Cusack, Amanda Peet, and Danny Glover. The plot is a familiar sounding one (Emmerich did The Day After Tomorrow after all) involving a global catastrophe, the end of the world, and those who struggle to survive. The title of the movie is a reference to the ancient Mayan prediction that a doomsday event will occur in 2012. I’m really looking forward to Adam’s song…the movie, not so much. How many times do we need or want to see New York City destroyed?
Something else we already knew was just confirmed by Kris…while some of the Idols had a day off in Toronto to shop, see a movie, etc., there was no day off for either Kris or Adam. Their extra commitments as the Top 2 keep them far too busy!
If you’re going to the Hartford show, please share your impressions of the show with us. Also, don’t forget to share your photos. If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.

From Canada the gang travels back to New York for a show on Saturday, August 15th .at the BlueCross Arena in Rochester.
Today the Adam news is the announcement that his June 25th issue of Rolling Stone was the best selling RS of the year. No surprise there, right? The bad news is that there are no back copies available of that issue. I’m glad I got mine, but now I’m sorry I didn’t pick up multiple copies when I had the chance. On August 6th Adam stopped by the RS offices in New York City to be honored for the accomplishment.

Random Adam thought for the day: people have commented and written that Adam seems to be having a big influence on the other Idols, not that this is anything new. I think even as Season 8 was in progress there were cases of both Adam advising/helping other contestants and cases of other Idols trying to imitate Adam’s performance style. It all seems to be a positive thing, but today I really laughed when I read Michael’s latest Tweets:
“What up Twitter world. It’s a beautiful day today in Canada and I’m ready to sang.”
LOL, we all remember Adam humbly proclaiming, “I can sang.”
And this from Michael following his Twitter party:
“I understand if scorned is a joke just don’t want anyone feeling left out u know.”
“Also I don’t like that word Scorned. So negative. I love u all I just can’t get to everyone. I really try. Goodnight u guys!!!:):):):)”
Sound familiar? Or maybe it’s just that they’re BOTH really sweet guys!
If you’re going to the Rochester show, please share your impressions of the show with us. Also, don’t forget to share your photos. And keep those photos and videos coming! If you have photos and/or videos from either this concert or any of the past concerts, please email them to us! Our email address is tourphotos@glambs.org.
