Adam on Oprah!!!

Here’s the video of Adam on Oprah! As I write this, it’s still 5  hours before my viewing time today. I’m not sure if this is his entire time on camera, or if this is edited. Randy Jackson will also be on, so I’m hoping he’ll speak at length about Adam! Not to criticize Oprah, but I can’t believe she wasted half the time asking Adam what he did before Idol?!?! His tone of voice even sounded surprised by her elementary questions. I could almost hear him thinking, “come on Oprah, I’ve been asked this a million times already.”

Our Fan Club Leader Sue was in the audience with her daughter at this taping. She was singled out from hundreds of audience applicants to ask Adam a question, but Oprah used too much time with her own questions, dang it! About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

  1. Well, I was just too blown away by the replay of Adam’s “Born To Be Wild” performance to notice. Seems others were too. His album is back up to number 2 on Amazon and rising!

Seeing him performing again reminded me what I love. Hearing him say, “I love you, Oprah” reminded me of HIS genuine love.

He was adorable–always is! But the performance…oh my goodness!!! That’s what it’s about!! Oprah said it perfectly when she said, “You were so compelling, so dynamic every single time you performed.” Well YEEAAAAHHHH!!!!

Watched Adam on Oprah! He was adorable! He was like a kid in a candy store! Eyes twinkling as he looked off to his right at someone. So cute! Loved this mini-interview!

  3. Adam was just adorable on Oprah. His laugh and vibrant personality is just so damm contagious!

” Now I get to be a Rock Star” OMG can he be any cuter?? Wish he was on longer, those 2 mins wasnt enough. Randy said they were shocked when he didnt win and Adam, modest Adam
he was just so grateful he accomplished his dream of making an album and being that Rock Star!
    Love him!!

    • Mary C,

I agree…..he looked so cute and adorable…..he was SO excited! The 2 minutes went by way too fast….of course, we can watch it over and over and over!

      Love Love Love Him !!!!

      • Helen/Canada says:

Yes, he was a little doll, wasn’t he! I love his laugh and his eyes DO twinkle when he laughs. What a guy. Did you see when they were signing off to commercial Randy said to Oprah “he’s a nice guy”. He’s right! And all of this couldn’t happen to a nicer one! He so deserves all this attention and success! WE LOVE YOU ADAM!

  4. MyBoyAdam says:

He’s such a breath of fresh air; what a cool person. I love that part “Now I get to be a Rock Star!” too. He’s just funny and don’t ya just want to hang out with him? I mean really. So much positive energy coming from him, he would just light up a room I think.

    • myboyadam, oh would love to hang out with Adam, he would make the best of friend! Course I would want it to be more than platonic! LOL

  5. album cover is just right for his music purely for entertainment . its campy. i guess adam will go rock on his next album another big surprises in the future.

  6. How awesome was that?!! Once again, thanks so much for posting, we do get to see Oprah in South Africa, but only about 5 months after the fact! : P

  7. GLAMB#474kimber says:

That man looked gorgeous! He looked like he just woke up and he was beautiful. Can you imagine waking up to that face and him humming a sweet tune in your ear w/ a soft kiss on your cheek. I just loved it when he said “I’m going to be a rockstar!”. He’s just so precious. I love you ADAM!! Cannot wait to hear his single.

  8. Adam will change the face of music around the world, just like you know who did way back there in the 60’s.

  9. Just to change the subject slightly….WHO is making the money off of Adam on Ebay? Does he get anything for the sale of his likeness on everything? If not, he’s missing out and should take immediate action to remedy this situation.

  10. Adam was adorable of course but they should have done a whole show on him, had him live there, and let him sing, Im dissapointed in Randy in not saying anything about Adam, all he was doing was promoting his show! Oprah spent more time on that designer guy! LIke who cares !!!! Oprah even said Adam was the one most wanted to see (of a reality star), and she should have had him on by himself!!! maybe she will get smart in the future!

  11. I think she said she would see him in November. I would suspect when his album and 2012 hit the streets we will see him all over the place. Gawd can you imagine a whole hour of him on Oprah!! YIKES be still my heart.!!! I thought she looked nervous interviewing him. Like she didn’t know what to say. Probably star struck like the rest of She was probably thinking..My this guy is HOT~~~!!!

  12. Mary S, just like you said I was blown by the replay of “Born to be Wild”. So wonderfully Intense!! This is his magic!
I am a Nia teacher so I choreographed most of Adam’s AI songs and Born to be Wild is one of the favorites for me and my students.
I wish there was a longer version of the AI performance so I could use that. That would really blow everybody’s socks off!
BTW I did see Randy saying to Oprah “This guy is Hot”, you just couldn’t hear it.

  13. AllStarMe says:

I thought the interview was nice-except for the fact that people should perhaps ask something other than what everyone knows. I dare everyone who interviews him from this point on to be original! I forget how it was brought up but I talked to my mom today about how Adam has already confessed to doing drugs and “bad things” in the past. It makes him very open and honest, plus no one can say “Adam Lambert Drug Shocker: No, It Isn’t Glitter” a couple years down the line like certain other celebs and tennis players. My mom also said something that kind of threw me off guard- she thinks that after this album, Adam is going to recoil from the public. She said that he seems exhausted and bored in his interviews (the most recent one she saw was Oprah). I explained to her that he just came off of tour and that he’s doing an album, that takes most bands 2 years and up to make in a matter of months. I don’t think I necessarily agree with her, but it was just interesting to hear her point of view on him. Well, take care everyone!

HI I just come across your post and found it interesting the way your mother felt about ADAM. Because I kinda felt that too. not having that feeling all the time, but the thought did come across, I feel that this one person to have so much at one time and especially just coming out of the “old theater” life. I’m confident that he knows what he’s doing, but everyone has a breaking point. Not so sure after this album, but if he does, I can say that your mother has very good instincts and could be right. But let’s hope he does continue to entertain for as long as he is able to. That was a very good observation from you, and a very good insight from your mother.
