Thank you Kate for finding us and giving us this wonderful piece. We are so happy to share it with our readers as we’re reveling in the aftermath from Adam’s mind-blowing appearances with Queen across Europe and London last week.
Enjoy this 20-minute piece as we Californians (and many travelers too!) get ready to enjoy Adam this week in Costa Mesa and Fantasy Springs!
Love ya!

This interview with Adam was wonderful.!!!! I have followed him ever since AMERICAN IDOL and his charisma, talent, sincerity just show what an outstanding performer
Adam is……..I am so happy to see him receive all the accolades he derserves.!!!!!
This is a great interview, thanks Carol. I do agree that he has rock spirit in his album, specifically Trespassing and Runnin’.
Great interviewer/interview! Perfectly shows Adam as the artist he is, plus thearticulate/ vulnerable human being he is, too. Been a fan of Adam’s since the minute I heard him on American Idol!
Underneath is my favorite on the album because of his soulful note reaching and exposure of self. My other favs are Pop that lock, Shady, Kickin In, oh, oh,…I think I love them all. Adam speaks beautifully of all things and is so into who he is that he makes us so comfortable. And, oh my god, is he the most beautiful person on the planet? Saw him at “stairgate” in Milw. with my family. At least they tell me that we were there….I was so stunned to see him that I really couldn’t remember much except that I was there! Got a photo of Tommy at the back door, too. Thanks for the video. A very comfortable interview.
He is so intelligent and well spoken. My 14 year old challenged granddaughter loves Underneath, sometimes cries when she listens to it. I seem to have a new favorite every day, am on the subway an hour a day and plug my ear phones in as soon as I get on. This is “Pop That Lock” month. I just went through a nasty separation, it’s been almost 4 months, and I am trying lose the weight I gained, train for a 10K swim around Bermuda, do agility trials with my crazy pug, and move on with my life. Adam’s music helps me do this in so many ways! Thanks for the wonderful video. Glambert Grandmom (can’t remember my Glamb # lol)
Thank you for this interview. I like how “laid back” and soothing the interviewer’s voice is-and the whole tone of the session. Adam is so well-spoken-and of course so beautiful to watch.
OT Did you receive my request to be added to the Mimi’s Restaurant list with my daughter for the OC concert on Thursday, Carol? If it’s too late, I will understand. Just so excited to be able to see and hear Adam again!!!!!!
Adam never ceases to amaze me with his honesty and integrity. Great interview, thanks!

Thanks so much!
Oh my, you are just so beautiful in & out. Just listening to him talking, being so articulate & personable, made him look all the better for being an Idol judge. I just heard on the news that they are thinking of each judge just having a one year contract so that their regular routine & life won’t be interupted for a long period of time. I could handle seeing him two nites a week for a year. I’m sure they can fit in their music career during the show – JLo did
Just saw Adam and Queen at Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday night. I have been to many amazing concerts but this one was truly amazing. It was a shock to see Adam actually on stage, in the UK!! For me, a life long Queen fan, and an Adam fan, this was a dream come true. I was sat next to an older guy who told me the usual things such as “no one can replace Freddie” etc. He was there to accompany his wife and did not look happy to be there. The first song was “Seven Seas of Rye”…..and he was clapping and singing with the rest of us by the end. He told me when we were on our way out “that boy can really sing”!!!
There are hopefully thousands of new Adam fans here in the UK now. Trespassing just charted at no: 17 which is huge when you take into account he just isn’t that well known here.
As for me, Saturdays concert was the best i’ve ever been to. But i knew it would be. A huge thank you to Queen and Adam for working so hard to deliver those classic songs so perfectly.
Thank you, Carol for posting this wonderful interview. I too loved hearing the soothing tone of the interviewer’s voice – he was so nice & very courteous – and it was as delightful as always to hear Adam speak & learn just a little more about him.
Thanx so much for sharing this fab interview here – it’s such a joy to hear Adam talk…and also to watch him talking, singing, dancing
I’ve been so very fortunately to be able to attend all his shows in London and now that it’s over, I’m suffering major withdrawal!!
And to top it all, after his astonishing performances with Queen, I’ve just learned that he won’t be singing with them at the Olympics – instead, Jessie J will apparently be doing so!
(((
But on the upside, at least we have Trespassing and I too, seem to have a new favourite song from the album to listen to practically every week. And despite a hectic time filled with overwhelming Adam distractions, I’ve managed to finish the vocal review of the album. Please let me know your comments – you can read it here: http://wp.me/p1mWtm-6a
Angelina
that you for all the postings and up dates. I don’t have internet access as I once had, so keeping informed about my favorite entertainer means the world to me. This was a great interview. I wish the American media would give Adam a fraction of the attention, and air time as they do these second rate singers. The Queen tour was unbelievable, amazing, magical. The best concert I ever
saw. Hopefully they will come to America, perhaps a Superbowel halftime show? Lets give Adam the exposure he deserves!!!
That was one of the easier interviews to listen to as it is one of the rare times the interviewer was as intelligent and thoughtful as the interviewee. I enjoyed it very much. THANK YOU for posting it!
