@adamlambert performed at Tokyo’s Summer Sonic yesterday and showed why so much of the world thinks he’s a master performer. I have to admit, I was wrong. I LOVE the blond hair!! He looks even sexier with it!! Adam took the stage with his full band and back-up singers, The Vajayjays. They even came out to do some semi-choreo during Pop That Lock! The atmosphere on stage was full of fun and enjoyment, and the sound was total party. Maybe it’s the video, but it sounds different from what I saw in Costa Mesa and Fantasy Springs. I don’t hear as much electronica. How about you?

After Shady, when Musical Director/keyboardist Brian London starts talking to the crowd, asking “how’s everybody doin’ toniiiight? I hope you’re havin’ a good time! Yeah?! Well, we got a couple more songs for ya!” I started having flashbacks to last month’s Fantasy Springs when Adam disappeared from the stage for an unusually long time. Brian started speaking to the audience and he tentatively began singing “Thank You For Letting Me Be Myself Again.” Our entire group decided Adam must have been struggling with his costume change, trying to get leather pants off while he was totally sweaty, and I was afraid the same thing was happening again!

Enjoy all I could find from the Tokyo show!

Love ya!

Let’s start with a message Adam gives to his audience, urging everyone to wear their yellow and black striped Trespassing clothes!

Now for the real show! 🙂

About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

    how are you doing?
    New era for Adam hein?
    Happy to see you again.
    Kisses / Beijo

  2. I’m with you, Carol…..beginning to get used to the new hair color, AND….I think I like it !!!

  3. Adam is just the best live entertainer anywhere and everywhere in my opinion. He lights up the stage

with his vocals, his charisma and with the joy that emanates from his inner core. He’s a marvel.

  6. Like him in Black.

  7. glamity58 says:

Saw a few of the songs and they were great. I hope tomorrow is another good performance. Japan seems to love him.

  8. Wow amazed as usual by another stunning performance. The whole band is such a great group and represents how diverse Adams style is and that he loves people of all ages, backgrounds, colors, sizes, sexual orientation etc.. And you are right Carol the blonde hair is super sexy!! This only increases my excitement for a Trespassing tour…can’t wait to buy my black and yellow outfit and get my glow sticks ready! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  9. Thank you for the videos, Carol. It seems so long since our chance to see Adam at the Pacific Amphitheater in July.. It was so nice of you to organize that special dinner at Mimi’s that day. We met some very devoted Adam fans there.Glad you were able to go on to Fantasy Springs and see him there as well. That place seems to bring out the FRISKY in him!!!! .Thank you again for all you do to keep us connected….

    • Lila - Glamb #3 says:

Yeah, that concert at Fantasy Springs was simply unbelievable! One of a kind for sure!!!

  10. Hi Carol, Thank you, thank you, thank you for keeping me in the loop of Adam. He looks and sounds amazing . I noticed he has writing on his left lower arm. Is that a new tattoo? Do you know what it says? I wasn’t lucky enough to go to Fantasy Springs. The videos did show him with his sexy on. I
think he wasn’t that way because of the venue and type of audience at the Pacific Amphitheater. AW Shucks! I’m still living in the glow of the experience of meeting you, the dinner, the show. I’m going to frame my autographed magazine. Maybe one day I’ll even get to meet Adam. I can dream can’t I? Thank you again for all that you do. It is sooo appreciated. Stay well.

  11. Yeah! The new hair color is more fitting now, he got the goldish color out and it is really SEXY on him, but then again, anything would. Just getting over the shock affect!!!! Keep it coming ADAM!!!!!! Love forever & a day Rita Norton & Donna Levi

  12. Thanks for all what you do for us.HUG from Holland

  13. Can’t you just picture Adam and Sauli teeheeing after he changed his hair color, knowing full well that his fans would be like wth!? Adam is sexy and beautiful any ole way he wants to flaunt it 🙂
    Adam’s forever fan.

  14. The excitement was palpable as everyone got ready for the show and started milling around waiting for Fantasy Spring’s pre-party to begin. I’m not sure I’m able to put into words the show that was Fantasy Springs, Part II. There were so many things that were different it seemed as if Adam turned some sort of door in how he does concerts. Beyond the 5 minute costume change break where the band had to improvise for longer than they probably planned for, the “conversation” with the VIP section that Fantasy Springs reserves for tribal members and his request for his fans to come up to the stage was brilliant (if maybe a bit dangerous for those not prepared to deal with a friendly mosh pit). Then he came INTO THE AUDIENCE… a first for sure.
