We’ve all been waiting for the day when Adam Lambert will appear on Saturday Night Live, hopefully as combination Host/Musical Guest. Since he’s currently selling out Europe, he appeared on last night’s show, in a comedy sketch. Now, you have to realize this is a spoof, in the truest sense of the word. Please don’t get all railed up saying “why don’t these people realize he doesn’t scream?” Just to have Adam used as a character is a true complement.
I “know” we’ll have the real thing, as soon as it’s convenient for Adam’s busy schedule. Maybe when he’s promoting his NEXT album!
I seem to remember this same SNL player, Jason Sudeikis doing Adam last year, in pretty much the same role – wailing. But I think the tongue is new this season! “Adam” appears at 2:00.

if you want to have Adam Lambert on SNL. Get the real thing. He would be terrific. He has a
very amiable personality, and good comedy timing. Plus he can sing a little bit. It could really
knock it out of the park. He has already said he would be amiable to doing it.
This is not worth getting your panties in a twist over, people – it was all in fun, even though it was just sorta funny. But for a parody of Adam to be included on SNL is indeed a compliment and shows he IS becoming a “household name.” More power to Adam!

I thought it was great! It was the best thing about the skit! And the way he tilts his head down at the end, ha I loved it. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or whatever that saying is. I don’t think it’s offensive. I bet Adam would laugh at it. I personally am happy that they choose to keep Adam current by adding him in from time to time. Someone at SNL likes Adam so I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we get to see the REAL one on SNL. Please let it be sooner or later.

I love the little typical head tilt at the end. Hey, at least our Adam rated a spoof. Next time, hopefully SNL will get the real Adam!
It’s always an “honor” as Adam would say to be spoofed on SNL. I’m sure we’ll see him in all his glory soon.
Well, Adam was included because he has his own distinct way of singing, which is unique and thus original. I love that Adam can be fun too. I can almost hear him say when we get too serious, ” Hey, lighten up folks.”
I’m just going to miss him this Christmas because he’s not singing Christmas songs. But then, comes New Year and he’ll be around singing for the new year. What a great year for Adam, this 2010. Hope 2011 will bring us more surprises.

Yay for SNL……waiting for Adam to host the show. Haven’t watched since the “Not Ready For Prime Time Players” was on it (I know I am dating myself, because that was a long time ago) but will definitely watch with Adam on!!!
