Adam Lambert and Portugal’s Aurea Duet in Shanghai!

@adamlambert surprised the world again! While performing on the Shanghai stage just hours ago, he did a rare duet with Portugal’s Aurea, singing a favorite of his, Lenny Kravitz’s Are You Gonna Go My Way.

Aurea is a 25-year old soul singer from Santiago do Cacém, Alentejo, in the Southern Central region of Portugal. Her debut album, Aurea was released in September, 2010. Critical reviews of the her #1 hit single from the album, Busy For Me, have mentioned similarities to song releases by the legendary Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield and The Supremes, as well as Amy Winehouse and Duffy. She won Best Portuguese Act at the 2011 MTV EMAs, the same show where Adam performed with Queen.

I love watching Adam duet with females. He seems to feed off the energy. I hope he’ll duet with Kelly Clarkson at the VH1 Divas also!

Catch his incredible stage entrance!

Love ya!

About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

  5. Francess Clark says:

I love it when Adam rocks – his voice is the most powerful on the planet and nothing shows it off better than a good old rock song! This lady may not know how lucky she is to get so close….sigh. I’m afraid Europe is going to take him away from us –thank God for the internet!

  6. Francess Clark says:

PS: Loved the nod to Tommy Jo – his riffing made the whole thing work- he deserves recognition.

  7. Very nice video to wake up to this morning. I’m not familiar with the girl, but do like her voice. Looks like there are alot of Glamberts out there liking the five o’clock shadow Adam is sporting these days. I sure do. It makes him look very fierce and extremely sexy. Like someone who you’d like to take home and tame (not on your life). For certain, we better not get to attached to it. Adam’s been known to change his look at the drop of a we all know. I think that is one of the reasons I keep following him. The other reasons speak for themselves. Like those unbelievable leather pants, Yummy!

  8. Flamingo Lady says:

Oh, to sing a duet with Adam…heaven! I really liked the silver hair, too, but am loving this look!
