Adam Lambert: America’s Own Swiss Chocolate!

From fine clocks to cheese and chocolate, Swizterland has a lot to boast about. Well, so does America with our own Adam Lambert! I’m so glad the rest of the world is taking such good care of him and showing him their love and devotion. You’ll see (or at least hear!) from these videos that Adam is truly doing what he was born to do.

Here’s the latest in from Zurich, Switzerland. Sorry for the lack of lighting on these videos. Until I can find better quality, we’ll have to let his magnificent voice serenade us. And really, haven’t we all dreamed about this?!?

He’s really having a good time going back-and-forth with the audience. I would have loved more of this at Fantasy Springs. This looked more like a club, so maybe he slipped back into the Upright Cabaret persona. He starts getting really chatty, which I think shows how relaxed he is on the stage. Either that or he’s enjoyed some “European Libation!!”

I especially love the rockin’ version of Mad World at the end. Best version I’ve ever heard!!

About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

COOL !!! This is a different taste…..very relaxed….Adam is great…he can have the same song with differnt mood anytime anywhere….!! I have to give a lots of credit to the band too: they have to keep up with Adam’s moods – it’s challenging ! They are great .

  2. patricia-lynn says:

loving the acoustic showcasing Adam’s voice, and his fresh delightful take on every song, making each one a first time experience. great with the audience banter of course, so much fun. I’m thrilled to watch his hero’s journey across the planet, and look at the homecoming that’s ahead of him in the US…Adam is flying and we are all on a fantastic journey of the heart with him. What a gift.

Glam Nation tour with Orianthi and Allison is a match made in heaven, perfect matching of energy…this is gonna be some summer to remember. All on board?

  3. TexasGal says:

I LOVE this version of Mad World! And I have to say, I’m really getting attached to Adam’s band – I sure hope they’re in this for the long haul with Adam! They’re probably very appreciative and excited to be associated with such a promising new artist. So much Adam-goodness to enjoy!

I was just thinking about the band too. He does some things just with monte and LT and we lost two keyboardist already. I think he does well with having a band, but things can get out of control. Like when someone gets a better deal (a if). But that’s the biz.

I liked the version of sleepwalker. Felt t hat he was jamming (improvising) right there and I loved it. swiss….is watching her posts on youtube if you want to thank her!

  4. EternalGlamNation says:

I love being able to see all of his performances and nearly everything he does.

Thanks to all who record/upload/post to keep us in the loop allowing us to have our daily dose of Adam. Not sure I could survive the day without it.

  5. Carol, always enjoy reading your comments that go with the wonderful Adam pics and videos. Thank you for sharing Adam’s journey with us. It has been a pure joy to read and watch all the posts before this one.

    • cmhagey says:

You’re so welcome! I’m always a lilttle scared that I’ll tick someone off so it’s nice to hear that I’m on the right track!

  6. Laurie (adamisamazing) says:

Thank you, Carol, for keeping us informed about our star. I agree with you regarding the Fantasy Springs concert. I know that was his official first solo performance. I was honored to be there. But, yes…this interaction with the audience would have been wonderful. It was great to hear him kid around with the audience in the videos. Great still pics, too. Appreciate all your work.

    • cmhagey says:

      Hi Laurie,
I’m glad to know there were others at Fantasy Springs who felt the same as I did. Hopefully word will get back to him and he’ll keep chattin’ up!

      • Adamisamazing says:

Exactly, Carol. What a personality, too! He is so intelligent, charming and eloquent. That’s why we are all in love with him – that and of course his vocals and good looks. I live in Arizona, and there are no tour dates yet for my state, so I’m waiting with eager anticipation.

  7. Francess40 says:

This is so intimate and the audio so fine–mmm…. Lucky swiss people. Thank you for this!

I can’t wait until Adam does an MTV Unplugged like Nirvana or Alice Chains did back in the day…

Thanks for posting Carol, you rock.

    – Fernando

    • cmhagey says:

      Hey Fernando!
How were those different than the VH1 Unplugged?

And thanks for the cheers – I’m so glad that you let me be a part of this when we met at the Finale Watching Party! Can you believe it’s almost one year???

  9. This is insane. It is 2 am on the East Coast and I can’t sleep because I just received my Norfolk tickets today and then bought some VIP tickets to see him In Charlotte with my husband…
Now I am listening to this fantastic performance of Mad World and I am wondering what kind of exciting crazy version we will get to experience.

I love it btw how this site is full of energy and there are so many terrific posts from everybody!

  10. In a way its hard to listen to these because I am so darn sad not to be there in person! But, that being said, I love to be able to hear yet again further proof of Adam’s ability to create new and exciting versions of the songs we already think we know so well. I am still reeling from his version of WLL at Fantasy Springs, and now this version of Mad World. Love the band, and their great versatility, their ability to jam along. Haven’t had a chance to listen to the others yet, but will soon.

Fantasy Springs was awesome, but I do think he was a bit nervous, being his first official solo gig and all (no pressure…), which probably kept him from interacting with the audience more. He was so much more relaxed at River Rock , perhaps in part because it was a smaller, more intimate venue and I do think he enjoys being able to really see his audience (almost as much as I like to be able to really see HIM!!), as in a theater-type setting versus larger arena. Just guessing of course. Now what I REALLY want is to hear more GlamNation tour dates, ones that include my part of the country, the Seattle area! Getting antsy, its been almost a month (I know, poor me!) since I last saw him live and I’m starting to go into severe Adam withdrawal already. Once they are announced, I’ll have that date to plan around, start the count down, and most importantly, get more excited every day. Still have faith we will be hearing more soon, but really want to get my hands on some local tickets (and try to figure out how to score some really good seats), before I have to start convincing my husband we need to go to Florida or Minnesota or…… ???

  11. tweeterpie says:

Mary H. I’m from the Seattle area too, Tacoma actually, and I really hope the GlamNation tour gets over here or I’ll have to look into buying some plane tickets as well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for all of us. I really loved the Mad World version he did here and look forward to him doing more of this kind of riffing on his tour. His free wheeling WLL was a hit when he twisted it up the way he did and I predict he is going to do the same on tour with a full out twisted up version of “Mad World” similar to what he did here. I also predict he’ll do the same with other songs because he is always trying to make it fresh and exciting for us and himself. I adore him and can’t wait to see him LIVE again.

  12. grandjag says:

Everyone needs to check out Adam’s interview with X3M Vaken that is on Adam Lambert 24/7. You have to click where it says click here and go to it. During the interview she has him put on eye makeup for her. He starts out really not wanting to do it.. then gets so into it he can’t stop until it is perfect. His eyes are so incredible and intense during all this that it is a must see.

  13. delibel (Nederland) says:

Thank you so much for having us all update whit all of ADAM performings and all what he does.

I am thrild to see every day whats up.

You are so good for us people that cannot follow every thing, every day is a present when there is a mail from your site I am so gratefull.LOVE OF HOLLAND FOR YOU.

  14. k. morgan says:

Just got my tickets for Fillmore in Charlotte!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My gut tells me this will be one of the best concerts I have ever been to…..I am so excited….My daughter and I love Adam….I like Orinathi and Allison too….should be a blast….!!!

  15. k. morgan says:

I don’t think key boardest is gone…probably just could not be there for this and since he did acoustic…they may have not needed her… adam…so creative…and love when he chats with audience…the whole cupcake thing was so funny.

  16. Is anyone from Ottawa, Ontario or surrounding areas going to the June 19th concert in Toronto?

  17. PaulaGlamb says:

I am from Portland,OR and like everybody else I am anxious to find out about Adam’s next tour dates. Please, Please come to Portland, or San Francisco or Seattle.

  18. I am very excited to have tickets to two shows, to be honest it really hasn’t sunken in yet. I did not go to the Idol shows last year so this has been a long time waiting and so much has happened since last summer. I feel we have all changed, we have all been transformed on one or many levels and this includes Adam!

I really hope that many of you who are waiting for tourdates to be announced in your area also will get what you are hoping and dreaming for. The schedule seems to be already very intense but they can’t leave a huge part of The States uncovered! Right?!
I am crossing fingers and toes (!) for you!!!!!

  19. Debbie22 says:

Ty so much for posting these vids.

On the subject of FS and Adam not chatting it up as much as this performance: Adam was only given 1 hour to perform at FS. He rather sing for us than idle chatter. That is also why there was no encore song. One hour and his time was up. 🙂

Glambs: I hope I’m not outta line here but I wanted to let everyone know I have 3 tix for the Knoxville show for sale .An hour after I pre-ordered them a show in Louisville was added!! and on my birthday at that!! I would luv to see our boy in my home state on my birthday!! What gift that would be!! {I can’t attend both as I would love to}. I kinda read into a show in Ky when he tweeted: “hold your horses,,”for me a reference to the Derby, maybe it was a reference and maybe not. Anyhoo, I paid $136.00 for 3 tix, in Orchestra Section S, seats 17, 19, 21. At 10:01 the morning of pre-sales they did not have any more seats together. Please pass this on if you don’t mind. I hope everyone gets good seats at which ever show they wanna attend!! The GlitteryGlamSpaceship is about to land!! PLL {my e-mail is or earlzagurl4u on twitter and I’ll check back on this site too.}THX
