Adam Lambert’s Video Interview from Russia

I just came across this video interview with Adam Lambert, done by Cosmopolitan Russia Cosmo Girl on his recent trip to Moscow (5/28/11). I’m hoping this will be new to some of you too!

My favorite part of this interview is hearing him talk about how the fans have gotten to know each other via their involvement with blogs and attending the concerts. I always hear fans wondering if he knows what he has brought to our lives, other than his music, meaning the great friendships they’ve developed with other fans. Now we have a definitive YES! 🙂 At 3:10, we leave Adam and hear some other bands that must have been playing the Maxidrom Festival. So sad they didn’t include any footage of Adam playing that day, but at least you can see them here!

Love ya!

About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

  9. Great! Thank you so much, Carol – I missed this interview somehow…

It’s interesting to learn Adam visited my city! I mean Saint Petersburg. Hope next time he goes for concert tour he will come here. Since the time he visited it, the city became much-much more tidy (yeah, about 10 years ago it was a real mess), and even more green and magnificent than ever. The government does its best to renovate the old historic buildings; people became less poor and more amicable here, than they were about 10 years ago.

And more and more cruise ships come to anchor just in the heart of the city – at the English embankment, across the St.Isaac’s Cathedral. I and my daughter often drive there to enjoy the great beautiful ships and breathe in the “air of travel”…

I’d recommend him and all glamberts to visit St.Pets in June-July when we enjoy the season of the midnight sun (“white nights”, as we call them) – absolutely gorgeous time when you can read in the streets throughout the whole night without any need in lamp – the sun does not go down completely … The air becomes milky, shapes – fuzzy, sounds lower…The views of the palaces, canals, towers, Neva River becomes illusive, incredibly beautiful, full of fairy magic… The water in Neva River is as tranquil as a mirror surface – and one can hardly distinguish the reality from its virtual reflection… The time itself seems to stop…

It’s the fest of lovers and romantics – the number of hugs & kisses breaks the world records… ;o)

Oh my, I just realized how indeed I adore this city in the time of “white nights”… :o))

Carol, if you get a chance to communicate to Adam, please, forward to him this advice :o)

  11. cas2003 says:

Yes, Sasha (one of Adam’s dancers on his Glamnation tour – for those of you who don’t know) is a wonderful dancer and is competing on So You Think You Can Dance. Please vote for her!

  12. Well Glamberts, Adam did give us another tour to look forward to. I know we will all be waiting anxiously to see him live in concert again. Hopefully I’ll get to more cities the next time. Thanks fir Shari g Carol. You keep our Adam fix satisfied.

  13. Lisette, thank you for sharing to us the loss of your parents through cancer. Yes, Adam indeed is therapeutic. He can also empathize with our pains, especially with his song BROKEN OPEN. When I listen to this song, I feel united with Adam in PAIN….. Pain unites us Glambs in this song.

Wow, Adam sounds loud and clear in this interview, which is what I love. Thanks Carol. He comes across naturally, with nothing to hide….. nothing to fear……and nothing to be ashamed of. The close-ups in this interview, and his nearness…. is like an… embrace. One feels loved by him… embraced and hugged by him. Then, one feels WONDERFUL…. and SPECIAL.

Oh.. WHAT A FEELING …. Isn’t it great that one feels this way, even when Adam is not singing ?

  14. Thats so much for the info. I’m getting Adam withdrawl !!
I still believe Adam needs a better PR person. Hes just not
getting the exposure he deserves. Would love to see him
on more talk shows, perhaps a summer concert ? Late night with
Jay ? Even in a big name magazine.

  15. Adam Lambert is always very entertaining even in interviews because he’s at ease of his individuality, he’s articulate/eloquent and intelligent enough in knowing how to express his thoughts.

He is such an elite Entertainer/Artist and I’m confident that he’ll be the next King of Pop, Rock, etc.

I can’t wait til the next Album and Tours.
