Adam Lambert’s Ex Used to Call Him Oprah! More From Toronto’s Proud FM.

**New post – originally posted 2/9/2010. This article was lost when our web site was recently invaded. I was able to find the opening paragraph, plus the all-important radio interview to re-post here.

A new radio interview from Adam’s Canadian media blitz has surfaced. Even though it’s a few weeks old, he never gets boring to listen to. I think it’s hilarious that when talking about Adam’s love of social situations, he says “I had an ex that used to call me Oprah.” Listen to find out the details.

About Carol

I started writing on this site back in May 2009, not knowing what I was in for or where it would take me. I had no idea of the joy and personal satisfaction I'd find here. I never dreamed that I'd get to meet Adam, but that dream came true! The bonus of becoming such great friends with Lila and the other fans is what keeps me going. Music gets me though every day. In addition to Adam, I love Muse, Linkin Park, 80s and finding newer bands and supporting them by attending everything that's within 350 miles. With Adam, the boundaries are farther! Thanks for joining us on this ride! :)

This is such an interesting interview because Adam seems to have clicked with this interviewer and with the questions and so these answers are fresh, interesting and original, which is all that Adam is.

  2. Love him!

  3. Good interview! ADAM is so gracious, open, and honest…..that’s why his interviews are so great!

    • Adam , not just great talent on music and that beautiful look, incredible personality , he is super smart. Love him so so very much.

The five people he would invite to dinner?, Freddy Mercury, and Jesus, Abraham Lincoln, Janis Joplin, and Lady GAGA,
That would be interesting! I love how open and honest Adam is, I just can’t get enough of him.

  5. I just loooovvvveeee Adam’s voice. He has the best speaking voice I ever heard. . . just perfect. Please give him a talk show. Are producers deaf and dumb? He is a goldmine . . . the male Oprah! I could listen to him for hours. His thoughts and ideas just flow and cascade like a waterfall, . . like his voice and phonation. He reminds me of the breeze and the soft waves lapping on the shore . . . with his voice undulations. He’s like, “Take a break, and have a minute Adam vacation. . . let his voice mesmerize”.

Ever notice how impossible it is to go through an entire day without thinking of Adam, his voice, one of his songs, etc.? I do not think it would be possible to spend an entire day without wondering what he’s doing at the exact time of your thoughts of him. I’ve never before had such an experience .

A whole day without thinking of Adam, I am lucky if I can go for half an hour without thinking about him. He has literally taken over my life, I’ve tried to “cut down” but it is impossible, he has my heart forever. Not only that, everywhere I am – at work, at home in my bedroom, in my computer room I am surrounded by him. I have pictures of him not only on my desktop of my computer (here at work and at home) but I have pictures of him on my wall, not so many here at work because I wouldn’t be allowed, but I do have nine, plus a calendar. At home I have two walls and a wardrobe covered in pictures of this gorgeous man and in my bedroom I have two walls covered with pics of him. What can I say, I love him and I am obsessed and no, I am not a teenager either, I am 56 years old and I am like you patricialemire I have never had an experience like this before. As I have already said, he has taken over my life, I can’t imagine not living breathing everything to do with Adam.

      • He is in my mind , in my heart and in my head every second of the time, day and night, 24/7. I listen to his singing almost all day long. This is never happen to me ever before. This new experience drive me insane. I just love him so much so dearly and his music makes me happy.

      • Hello Dianne! It is a pleasure to meet someone very close to my age who feels the same about Adam.
